《The Angel Anbu》Chapter 4

Kashi woke me up and gave me my breakfast. I woke Haku and Inari and we were on our way to the meeting spot. I yawned and waited in the tree with my eyes closed, hanging upside down. "Is he sleeping like that?" "I don't know." I felt someone step right in front of me. I opened my eyes to see Sakura about to draw on my face. "Back off pinky." "I have a name you know." "Yeah, I know. But until you earn my trust I will call you whatever I want, Banshee." I flipped on to my feet, on the ground. Kakashi then showed up. "Okay. We have another escort mission from Hokage-sama, but he wants Naruto to stay behind and have Angel escort us again." "Why does he need me?" "I don't know, go ask him yourself. Everyone, pack rations for about a week and meet back here in an hour." Once everyone was out of sight, I shushined to Jiji's office. "You wanted to speak with me Hokage-sama?" "The place you and your team are headed. This mission is to the Hidden Wolf Village. I want you to deliver this scroll and try to bring back some of the medicines the have. Understood?" "Yes, Hokage-sama." I saluted and changed into my uniform with a new jutsu I made. I flew over the village and landed in my favorite tree. I saw the client standing next to Kakashi. "Kashi. Who is the client." "His name is Busio Daiko. He is the head healer in Hidden Wolf Village." Mr. Daiko looked at me and bowed. "I appreciate all the protection you are giving me, Mighty Demon Angel." I blushed deeply under my mask. "Kashi, I'm not that well known, am I?" "Angel, you become an Anbu at five and a strong Anbu Commander at the age of ten. You are known all the way from the Moon Village to the Bird Village." I grumbled and sat on my branch. A few moments later I saw the Raven and the Falcon arrived holding hands. After they heard the banshee arrive they quickly let go of each other. "Sasuke!" She tried to attach herself to Raven's arm, until I intervened. I held her arms length away from the couple. "The mission is to escort Mr. Busio Daiko back to his home in the Hidden Wolf Village. There will be no stupidity coming from anyone. And if I see you not learning when I am teaching I will personally escort you to Uncle Ibuki. Understand?!" They all nodded out of fear. "Good. Let's go. We're burning daylight." "Wait Angel. We have to wait for Naruto." "Is that the blonde Suna transfer?" "Yes." "Jiji is having that one do his household chores while he is doing his Hokage duties." I led them all out of Kohona. It got dark out after seven hours of walking. "I will assign tent placements. Ino and Sasuke will share tent A1. Inari and Sakura will share tent A2. Kakashi and Busio will share tent A3. Haku will be with me in tent A4. You are each responsible for your own tents. You can not exchange sleeping arrangements at all. Start setting up your tents." I helped Haku set up the tent. "Ow!" I spun around to see Ino holding her hand, which was a dark purple. "What happened?" "Sakura was hammering the spike into the ground and was so busy watching Sasuke that the hammer slipped from her hand and hit Ino-chan." "Kakashi heal Ino's arm. It's broken." I called out. Kashi walked over, set the bone, and set it in a sling he made out of Sasuke's jacket. "Your arm will be healed in two days time." The pain was obviously getting to her. "Mr. Daiko, do you have anything to relieve pains from a broken limb?" "I do actually. You are a lucky person today. Please drink this tea." I gave the tea to Ino, which she drank slowly. "Thank you." "Sasuke. Do you need my help setting up your tent?" "Only with hammering the spikes in the ground." "Okay." I helped Sasuke pitch the tent up. "I'll go get dinner. All of you stay here while I do so." I flew into the forest and tried looking for some game. I saw a male onbaa attacking a traveler. I quickly killed it and sent the traveler on his way. "Please let me give you something to repay the dept I owe you." He rummaged through his cart and pulled out a dark blue kimono.

I took it from him gratefully. "Thank you." I pick up my onbaa kill and carried it back to the campsite with my new kimono. The others were playing a game of shiritori with Sasuke surprisingly winning. Smiling, I cooked the meat and handed them their plates. "What kind of meat is this?" "Onbaa meat." I stated while moving my mask slightly so I could eat. After I finished I washed everyone plates and we all went to our tents. "Sensei, are we gonna learn anything new tomorrow?" "Yes. I will be learning all of your element affinities and will teach you guys an element jutsu that uses your affinity." "Cool." Haku went to sleep. I moved some hair away from his eyes and weaved some of my fallen feathers into his hair. I walked outside and kept watch for about six hours, until Kakashi woke up and sent me to bed. I woke everyone up and handed out Chakra papers. "Remember the river analogy of Chakra? Extend a new river into the paper. This will determine if you have an elemental affinity." They all did as I asked. Sasuke had a fire affinity, Haku had an ice and water affinity, Inari had a water affinity, Sakura didn't have any, and Ino had a wind affinity. "Angel-sensei, can you do it as well?" "Sure." I took a paper and pushed some Chakra into it. "I have fire, wind, and electric affinities." "That's impossible!" "Look at the paper you pink haired banshee." Haku calmly stated. They all looked at the paper, which was burnt I one corner, one corner was singed meaning electric, and the last corner was cut in half. "Okay, water affinities first. Haku, Inari."
(Time skip)
I taught them both a jutsu they could use their affinity with. "Now wind affinities. Ino, Haku."
(Time skip)
"Good. Sasuke. You're up. Since you affinity is fire, your Fireball Jutsu will pack a more powerful punch to it. Another jutsu that is based on fire affinities is Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique. It was originally created by the Uchiha clan as a "coming of age ritual". You know the regular Fireball Jutsu and that is great. It is a more complex version of it. It requires more symbols and more chakra, the range is definitely larger than the average Fireball Jutsu." Sasuke, Ino, Sakura, and my pupils were gawking at me. Then the banshee had to open her mouth. "How do you know more about Sasuke's family than he does?!" "Probably because I'm a very distant relative the the Uchiha family. My father was a distant cousin, making me Sasuke's cousin in a way." "So...your my cousin?" "Indeed I am. And Itachi is an innocent man. He was set up by the Council Leader Danzo. The only problem is, we know he did it without question, but we need solid evidence to convict and execute him." "So my brother didn't kill my clan?" "No. It was Danzo's disciple, Sai. Sai collected the deceased Uchiha's eyes and has hidden them in an unknown area." Sasuke nodded, being unable to speak from the shock of knowing his older brother was innocent. "Wait. If Itachi is innocent, then why did he run?" "He was covered in their blood. Whether he liked it or not, he knew he would blamed and convicted without a fair trial. Plus Danzo threatened to kill you if he didn't. He didn't want his younger brother to be slaughtered." He nodded and sat down on a stump. I packed up all the tents and supplies. "Kakashi, let's go. We're heading out." The banshee had to cut in for the third time. "You didn't teach Sasuke!" "Probably because he has too much information to absorb before he can think straight." I let a shrill whistle pass through my lips and Lunar landed on my head. I wrote a message to Hokage-sama and sent Lunar away. "Angel, why does Lunar respond to you?" "Well I raised him. I don't see why he wouldn't respond." "Ha! Liar! That stupid fox belongs to the Suna genin reject!" "If you keep shouting I will personally escort you to Uncle Ibuki after letting Kyu-chan play with you." She paled and quickly shut up. "I did raise Lunar. While I was in Suna on a mission, Lunar took a liking to the small genin. So I let Naruto take care of him." I led everyone to the pass where the Hidden Wolf Village met the forest. I flew ahead and spoke to the guards. "Hello. I am here with my team and pupils. We came here so we could escort him safely home, and Hokage-sama wishes to made a trade for some medical supplies." "Very well Angel-sama. Open the gate!" I motioned for Kakashi to bring them all over. We all walked into the village. Mr. Daiko walked to his family. I flew over the village and to their leaders tower. "Hello. I am here to discuss trades." "What do you have to offer?" "Kohona's resources, an alliance, and three of the Leaf's Anbu to help your people by escorting them, or anything else." "Alright. I presume that you require some medical supplies." "You presume correctly. My team and disciples are in the village. Would you mind if we could take advantage of your famous hot springs and a place to rest?" "Not at all. Please help yourself. You all can stay in the inn we have for travelers." "Thank you. Have a wonderful evening." I bowed and flew back out to my team. "Kakashi." "Angel, did the transaction go well?" "Better than well. We are allowed to use the hot springs and sleep in the travelers inn." "Great. I could use that hot spring for my back." "Same. An Anbu's work is never over." "I'll go gather the genins. You go get us some towels." "Kay." I flew to the hot springs and got everything ready. "Angel-sama is going to be using our hot springs!" I turned around and saw the employees that worked at the hot spring. "Hi." They ran up to me and picked me up, easily. "Kyaa! Your so small!" I let them hug me to their hearts content, but when Kakashi and the team showed up that's when that changed. "Help." Kakashi sighed and detached me from the employees. I flew to a tree and watched from a safe distance as Kakashi explained that I don't like to much physical contact from strangers. I think they got the message and happily went back to work. I flew down and tossed everyone their respective towels. The girls had pink while the boys had blue. I led the boys to where we got undressed and the girls were led by the female employee. I changed out of my suit, showing off the nasty scars from all my previous missions. I walked out to the hot spring and let myself sink into the hot water. I felt someone's hands on my back. "Sensei. I'm going to give you a back rub." "Okay Haku." Haku massaged my back throughly and sat beside me in the hot water. Kakashi followed shortly after. Sasuke had sat down next to Haku and Inari next to him. After we were all rehydrated and feeling less stiff we all got dressed and walked to the inn. "Sleeping arrangements. Inari, Haku, and Sasuke will share one room. The girls in another. Kakashi and I will share the last one." We all walked in different directions and went to sleep.

Yang enrolls in the Imperial Officers’ Academy to study history, but despite his unusual and unmistakeable talent as both a tactician and a scholar, his classmates resent him for being a visible outsider. When tensions at the school boil over and several of Yang’s classmates attempt to murder him, Yang finds an unlikely ally in the top student in the class: the aloof Oskar von Reuenthal.
