(I'll let you know when you should play the song. Some people are gonna like this chapter LOL)
"Thinking about Jayden?"
"Um, what?" Lara tried to mask her nervousness as Sam sat beside her on the bench, dragging his guitar to his front.
"You're thinking about Jayden." He stated this time, brushing his finger tips over the strings of his guitar.
Why would he think that?? Lara wondered, as she tried her best to muster the art of lying like Brie did, and probably everyone else in the house. And probably the rest of the world.
"Of course not. Why would I be thinking about Jayden?"
He looked up, confusion seeping through his greyish green eyes.
"Because he's going through something and we're all hoping he'll be fine before he gets back."
Lara felt her face flush with embarrassment. Of course. What was wrong with her?
"Yes, yes I hope everything's fine by the time he gets back."
Sam smiled and dropped his gaze to his guitar, his fingers holding down two strings and his other hand lightly brushing against the strings.
He changed his finger positions, and the sound it produced was melodious.
Lara asked, "Do you know when he'll be back?"
"Nope." He looked up, and Lara got the chance to study his face.
Straight face with a neat stubble, a pointed nose, perfectly sized thick eyebrows and mysterious greyish green eyes that could probably see through your skin and see ghosts. Mrs. Benson's younger brother was really good looking.
"I was wondering," He began, "Do you mind singing a song with me?"
"You want me to sing a song with you?" Lara was surprised, but then she remembered when he sang 'Perfect' by Ed Sheeran and she blended in. They Did sound good.
"Yeah," He replied, "Your vocals are really good."
"Thank you! And sure, I'd love to." Lara turned towards him and cleared a leaf that had fallen on the left shoulder of her uniform. "What song?"
"I Know What You Did Last Summer by-"
"Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello! Of course I know that song!"
Sam laughed, revealing a perfect set of white teeth, "Great!"
He began to play the chords, which were absolutely perfect, Lara had to admit.
(PLAY SONG ABOVE!! If you don't, you won't understand what is written after this A/N. ROFL HEHEHEEJEJ XD)
He began, singing alone, "Ah-ah, he-ey, Ah-ah, ah-ah," and Lara blended in for the second one as they sang in unison,
"Ah-ah, he-ey, ah-ah, ah-ah." Then she began,
"He knows, dirty secrets that I keep, Does he know it's killing me? He knows, he knows, D-d-does he know?"
Sam grinned as he rocked his guitar, eyes on Lara as she sang, "Another's hands have touched my skin, I won't tell him where I've been, He knows, he knows, he knows,"

He joined her, "It's tearing me apart, She's (I'm) slipping away," He sang, "Am I just hanging on to all the words she used to say?"
They blended, "The pictures on her phone, She's (I'm) not coming home," Lara sang, "Coming home, coming home," Sam nodded in amazement with a grin before he sang hard,
"I know what you did last summer!" with Lara singing along, "Ah-ah!"
"Just lied to me there's no other!" "Hey-ey!"
"I know what you did last summer!" They blended, "Tell me where you've been!"
"I know what you did last summer!" Lara stretched out, "Ah-ah!"
"Look me in the eyes, my lover!" Lara dramatically looked into his eyes, "Hey-ey!"
"I know what you did last summer!" They blended, "Tell me where you've been!" And then she suddenly thought of Jayden.
Jayden walked into the room he was ordered to by the prison guard and he was thinking about Lara too. Her beautiful face, adorable smile and cute laugh. He awkwardly felt her presence and missed her, but he would see her soon, right after closing the chapter on the Florence story.
He couldn't count the number of body and car searches he had gone through before being allowed into the prison. His car had even been searched by a dog.
And even in the premises, he and Kira had to undergo further body searches, with Kira even having to go half naked.
Now at the door to the visiting room, after following every single necessary procedure, Kira held his hand and looked up at him, "Jay, you'll be fine. Just remember what I told you. After this visit, everything will be fine."
Jayden exhaled.
One of the prison guards escorted Jayden into the almost full room while Kira stayed at the entrance.
Eyes turned towards him. Eyes full of lust, admiration and thirst. These prisoners were obviously sex-starved.
They probably hadn't seen a lot of handsome men in here, let alone a tall drop-dead gorgeous male specie that was probably a descendant of a Greek god.
The prison guard kept a strict facial expression and showed him to an empty seat at the back of the room facing a chair against the wall and he sat in it.
Jayden exhaled, again. He lost track of the number of times he did. He hoped everything would be fine. And he hoped Lara was fine too.
Lara didn't drop Sam's searing gaze as they continued to sing in the white bench, with so much energy.
(This is where the beat gets intense, incase you're lost,😂 or you arrived early)
He sang, "Tell me you didn't mean it though, tell me you didn't mean it though." She sang, "Can't seem to let you go!"
"I know you didn't mean it though. I wanna know you mean it though." "Hold me close!"
"I know you didn't mean it though, I know didn't mean it though." "Just hold me close!"

They both sang, "I can't seem to let you go! I can't seem to hold you close!" then she jumped to her feet.
"I know what you did last summer!" "Ah-ah!" She danced.
"Just lied to me there's no other!" "Hey-ey!"
"I know what you did last summer!" They both sang, "Tell me where you've been!"
"I know what you did last summer!" Eyes on him, "Ah-ah!"
"Look me in the eyes, my lover!" "Hey-ey!"
"I know what you did last summer!" "Tell me where you've been!"
They both sang, "I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know!" Sam's eyes never left hers as she swayed her hips, occasionally whipping her hair and jumping whilst throwing her hands up. His green eyes lingered on her, fingers swiftly moving along the strings, with strong energy flowing through both their veins.
Jayden waited. He turned to his right. A white girl with very short orange hair and coloured tattoos popping out of her uniform had a frown on her face while listening to her chubby male visitor. She was pretty, despite the icy stare she gave the young man.
"Fucking get me out of here or I swear imma kill you when I'm out!" She sort of minimized her voice but Jayden was close enough to hear her.
The bald man was sweating through his well-fitted tailored suit. And he had a briefcase beside him.
The girl then shifted her gaze to Jayden. Jayden didn't hide the fact that he was watching them. Well, he had already been caught so there was no use hiding it.
She jerked her chin up with her eyes peering at him. "Find something you like?" She was chewing something as well.
Jayden smiled. "I find you interesting."
She stared at him while chewing with an emotionless face, then slowly, her lips started to curve into a smirk.
She explained, "What I said to John Doe over here," She curved her thumb towards the man who appeared to be her lawyer, "about killing him when I'm out, just a joke. I'm not a killer."
The man rolled his eyes, and she ignored that.
"Good." Jayden smiled.
She smirked while roaming her eyes on him from his dark tousled hair to his manly chest, his khaki shorts, and his super white sneakers, then asked,
"What's a pretty boy like you doing here?"
"I'm here to see someone." Obviously.
"Girlfriend?" She asked.
Girlfriend? Really? Oh Yeah, yeah, my abuser. My Christiana Grey.
"No." He simply answered.
When she realized his answer had ended at 'No', she asked, "What's her name?"
Jayden paused, literally about to say Christiana Grey.
"Florence. Florence Buntry."
The girl's eyes widened at the mention of the name. "Florence Buntry? What?" She couldn't hold back her surprise, "What business could you possibly have with that woman?"
"How do you know her?" Jayden eagerly asked.
The girl looked left and right and leaned forward, in somewhat a whisper. "She goes by the name MD Burner, here. Like almost half of this prison know her. I only got here two months ago but I know her. Not personally though. I was given a list of names to steer clear from. She was number 3."
The air was cool and refreshing, but Jayden felt beads of sweat forming on his forehead. He began to worry about this whole therapy Kira was trying to induce.
He managed to ask, "Why was her name on the list? Did they tell you?"
The girl answered, "Yes." For some strange reason, she looked left and right again before continuing,
"She's been here for 9 years now. I heard she was abusing and fucking some rich kid. For years."
Jayden felt his stomach twist.
The girl continued, "The rich parents found out and made sure she rot in jail. That woman is a freak. Why the fuck you gonna mess with a child's head like that? She's bad news around here. She's freaking scary."
Jayden was two seconds close to getting up from his seat and leaving the room. Coming there was a mistake. What the hell was he thinking? He had no idea the reaction he was going to receive from this woman. Was she angry? Resentful? Intimidating? Was he really prepared for this?
"Hey!" The girl called Jayden, drawing his attention, "You're trynna say that Burner's coming to sit right next to me? In this chair?" She pointed to the metallic chair across the metallic table from Jayden,
"Man," She turned to her lawyer who had been going through some files in his briefcase to show her, "Time's up. I gotta get outta here. I'm not sitting beside this-Oh shit."
"What?" Jayden anxiously asked.
The girl was looking up at something way past Jayden. Or someone.
"Fuck. I'm screwed." She muttered, her eyes still on whatever or whoever that was moving towards them.
Her lawyer turned around to see what the girl was talking about, and his eyes remained frozen on the person.
Jayden was drawn to his left side where a gasp had fallen from the prisoner's mouth. He read the middle aged prisoner's lips. "MD Burner."
He was stuck to his chair.
Kira had taken him through the kind of questions to ask and the statements to make. He had to be ready. He was ready, despite the rate at which his heart was beating, he was ready.
He told himself he was ready, but as soon as a hand pressed his shoulder, that oh, so familiar hand, his body froze.
(DUN DUN DUN. The next two chapters are gonna take you for a ride on a roller coaster. BUCKLE UP. And don't forget to vote and comment, love y'all!❤)
