HEY GUYS!! :) I'm so sorry I took so long to update. Wattpad wanted to play with us, but they didn't know we created the game! (If you're seeing this, Wattpad, please don't let this be the reason I won't get featured in the near future)

It's so good to be back!! Let's jump right into it, shall we??

The car ride was a silent one. Mr. Benson and Jayden sat in the back seat of the Dark Granite Metallic Cadillac Escalade ESV, with each of them looking out the window.

Mr. Benson had created a story to the Italian men who had been seated at the table still, and had been wondering what was wrong with Jayden after the incident.

He had told them that Jayden had had a personal problem he was trying to deal with and that they had to leave.

The Italians had understood and had agreed to have lunch another day.

Mr. Benson turned to look at his son who was still staring out the window.

To say Mr. Benson was worried would have been an understatement. He was terrified, anxious, and anger filled him up towards the one person who was responsible for all of this; Florence.

He placed a hand over his son's balled hand on the seat, drawing Jayden's attention from the window.

He gave Jayden a reassuring look, "It'll be fine, trust me."

Mr. Benson could tell the look on Jayden's face was hopelessness. He didn't want that. Jayden was his only child, his son, his treasure. He was part responsible for Jayden's terrible childhood but he vowed to make the rest of his life surreal and full of joy. He owed that much to his son.

"It'll be fine." He patted Jayden's hand once more and withdrew his hand.

Jayden appreciated his father's words. He knew his father meant every word he said.

He decided to let his father know, "Kira's the visitor. She's the one coming over at 6."

"Kira?" Mr. Benson was surprised. He hadn't heard that name in ages. "That's huge. Very huge."

"Mhm," Jayden agreed, "She's the only one I need to talk to, apart from you. She can help."

"That, I believe." Mr. Benson nodded. "Does she know how the memories were triggered?"

Mr. Benson wanted to know if Jayden had told her, since he had refused to tell him in the washroom.

"No, she doesn't. Yet," Jayden answered and turned back to the window, sighing, "I'll tell her tonight."

The driver pulled up in front of the airport and in five minutes, Mrs. Benson was running into the arms of her son.

"Jayden!" She laughed heartily, "I missed you!"

"I missed you too." He smiled.

Mr. Benson and the driver grabbed her luggage and put them in the trunk of the car.

"Jared," She smirked and put her hand on her hip when he was done, "I think you're forgetting something."

He smiled back and approached her, then pulled her to him and kissed her.

"Get a room, you two." Jayden said before sitting in the front passenger seat of the car, with the driver already seated and waiting for his bosses.

Mr. Benson released his wife and opened the car door for her, with she gladly sitting down.

He sat in the other seat and the driver took off.

"How's everything at home?" She began, flipping her hair to the other side.

"Everything's fine." Mr. Benson said, "We barely noticed you weren't there."

"I know you missed me most, Jared."

"Don't push your luck." He returned her smirk.

"I'll push something else when we-"

"Guys," Jayden interrupted without turning to face them, "I'm right here."

Mrs. Benson leaned towards her husband, "To be continued."

"Got it." He smirked and Tim, the driver, forced himself not to glance at his bosses through the rear-view mirror.

They had been on the road for hours, occasionally stopping to get a couple of items.

Jayden unbuckled his seat belt when they were seconds away from the house and checked the time on his phone; 18:37.

He was going to see Kira. After so many years.

The automatic gates gave way to the car and they drove into their big beautiful home.

The car stopped right in front of the main door, the garden to its right. And Jayden saw her.

Not so well from the car, but he saw her sitting in the garden, in a blue blouse and skinny jeans with black sneakers. Ear phones in her ears, her head low, her brown hair in a messy bun. He saw Kira.

"Who is that?" Mrs. Benson squinted and tried to get a good look from the car.

"That's Kira." Jayden said, but before he could get down from the car, his mother stopped him.

"What is Kira doing here?" There was worry in her eyes.

Kira's name was always associated with the incident of many years ago. The incident they had sworn to put behind them.

"We're catching up."

"All of a sudden?" She didn't think she should buy the story yet.

"Yes."

Mrs. Benson sensed that he was lying. Something wasn't right.

"Tim." She said to the driver who was still in his seat, awaiting their word, "Excuse us."

"Yes ma'am. Let me get the luggage."

He rushed out of the car leaving a very curious Mrs. Benson, an exhausted looking Jayden and a sad Mr. Benson.

"Tell me why Kira is really here."

"Mom, I already told you." He shrugged with an annoyed look on.

"Jayden, I'm not buying that." Her tone had risen.

Jayden had to take precaution. "I haven't seen her in years. Don't let me keep her waiting."

"So why has she suddenly popped up?"

"She-" Jayden began to answer, but his father cut in,

"The memories are back. Those goddamn memories."

Jayden immediately turned to his father, "DAD."

His father sighed, and his mother was speechless.

"How...?" She asked softly, tears already glistening in her eyes, "How??" Her eyes darted from her husband to her son, waiting for a response.

"Dad, you weren't supposed to tell her." He saw the tears already glistening in his mom's eyes.

"I never promised, Jayden." His dad retorted. He knew why he was doing this. It was for his son's own good.

Mrs. Benson cut in, "Jayden how! How, in so many years are they back?"

No answer from Jayden. He was furious. She wasn't supposed to know.

"Are you going to answer me!" She grabbed his shoulder. "Huh?" and as if realizing something, she asked, "Is it Kira??"

"No!" Jayden immediately answered.

"Don't defend her for this horrible thing she has done! I am going to kill her!"

He turned to his mother. "It is not Kira!"

"Then who is it! Who triggered the memories! Someone must have talked about it in the worst possible way. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?"

His insides were trying to come alive. They were screaming Lara. They wanted him to voice out her name.

But if he did, she was as good as a vegetable.

His mother hated his silence. She opened her car door, saying, "I am going to kill that girl, Kira."

Jayden immediately held her free hand, "Mom, it's not her! How could you say such a thing?! You know damn well that if it wasn't for her, Florence would never have been found out. YOU OWE THAT TO KIRA."

His mother softened up, and his father sighed.

Mr. Benson wanted to know everything. He wanted to get to the bottom of everything, but he left it for his wife to extract the 'top secret' information from Jayden.

"If it's not Kira, who is it?" She simply asked.

Jayden didn't answer.

"Jayden, if you don't answer me, I swear to God I am going to raid on all of those maids and skin them alive, starting with your personal maid, Lara."

Jayden's shoulders stiffened and Mr. Benson took notice.

"It's Lara, isn't it??" He anxiously asked, "She's responsible. Am I right? That should explain the odd behavior this morning."

"What odd behavior?" Mrs. Benson inquired, and Jayden panicked inwardly.

He panicked because Lara's life could be over in a flash. Literally as well. He knew his mother.

Mr. Benson continued, "This morning when I went Jayden's room, she was there, but the atmosphere was so stale. And she had brought him breakfast way after eleven."

"After eleven!" Mrs. Benson put her foot out of the car and proceeded to step out when Jayden cut in,

"It's not Lara!"

Mrs. Benson turned to her son,"If it's not her, who is it!" She was ready to pour her wrath on whoever was mentioned.

Mr. Benson spoke his mind, "He's trying to save her."

"I'm not! Why the hell would I?" His dad was being awfully smart.

"Give me a name, Jayden!" His mother demanded impatiently.

Jayden hesitated. He had to give a name.

He decided to weigh their contributions to the whole situation. He had to mention Lara, Tess, Brie, or Katy.

He knew Brie and Katy had begun the whole gossip. They loved to gossip so much. They had told Lara all of those lies.

Lara didn't know they were lies. She believed them, but she should have heard both sides of the story, and not have behaved like a lunatic, because technically, SHE triggered it. SHE is responsible for the memories coming back. SHE.

But she had gone to ask Tess, after hearing the story. She had wanted confirmation. She had needed to hear it from the one person who had somewhat been present during that time; The one person who could have cleared his name.

But Tess had lied. She had added to the tarnishing. AND, she was probably the one who had spread the rumor in the first place. The gossips, Brie and Katy, had probably gotten their information from Tess.

Mrs. Benson left the car impatiently when her son was awfully silent. She marched towards the main door, ready to destroy the maids, especially Lara.

Jayden rushed out and held his mother's arm. "I'll give you a name."

Mr. Benson had gotten out of the car as well, and Kira from the garden, rose her head, spotting an impatient Mrs. Benson, an annoyed Mr. Benson, and an exhausted Jayden.

Jayden, wow. It had been three years since she last saw him. She couldn't see him well enough from where she sat, and looking at things, his parents had found out that his memories were back.

"I AM WAITING FOR THAT NAME-"

"It's Tess." Jayden had chosen. "Tess. She is responsible. She-"

"Don't say more." His mother said and entered her house.

Mr. Benson glanced at his son, who looked as if he had been forced to push someone off a cliff, and followed his wife.

Kira was still staring. She was worried, but she didn't want to interfere.

Jayden turned in her direction, making eye contact.

He put his hands together, prayer sign, and mouthed 'I'm sorry', then he put his hands in the air, all fingers out, insinuating she should give him ten minutes.

She waved a 'don't worry' and smiled. Then gave a thumbs up, Jayden translating that as a 'Everything will be fine'.

But Jayden knew he was going to be away for more than half an hour. He knew his mother well.

"Tim," Mrs. Benson called her driver, who was still standing out the door with her luggage, "Bring them in and put them over there." She pointed to the foot of the stairs, which was about eight feet away from the main door.

Then she raised her voice, "EVERYONE SHOULD COME HERE IMMEDIATELY. YOU HAVE LESS THAN A MINUTE."
