"What are we doing now?" Srishti asked in a bored tone. She knew something childish was going to come her way and she didn't have to wait for long as Aditya yelled, "Let's play dumb charades."

"Seriously?" She gave him a look and he nodded eagerly. In times like these, she wished she could slap Aditya left and right. It was fucking one at night and this guy wanted to play games. Figures, why Sahil called ignored him most of the time.

Zevah yawned. "I'm sleepy, Aditya." She said as her eyes were drooping and he was immediately concerned.

"I'll take you to our room, let's go." He stood up and Srishti could only stare at them in disbelief. Why was she here then?

Shaking her head, and mumbling something under her breath, she got up when she felt his presence behind her. She whirled around and cast him an accusatory glance.

"Where were you?" Sahil smirked at her angry face. "You know where was I." She huffed knowing exactly where and what he was doing.

"What's got you so annoyed?" He questioned when she kept frowning. "Your best friend." She snapped and he blinked. Aditya? What did he do now?

"He woke me up because he said Zevah wanted to play games and now, they both are sleeping." She was pissed because sleep was far away from her eyes. What the hell was she supposed to do?

Sahil sighed, "Let's go to the terrace." He suggested and her eyes lit up. She stood up and he stretched his hand out to her. She placed hers in his, however, just as they took a step towards the stairs, a voice called out.

"Mumma"

Sahil froze as Srishti's eyes narrowed at him. She turned around and found her baby standing there, rubbing his eyes cutely. She went upto him and picked him up in her arms.

"What happened, Ayaan?" She questioned as he quickly hid his face in her neck, hands around her neck. Srishti caressed his back as she swayed slowly.

"Dadda left." He mumbled into her neck and her eyes immediately went on Sahil. He sighed knowing very well the reason as he went towards them.

Sahil gave a guilty look, "Sorry bud, I won't leave again, promise." He held out his pinky finger and Ayaansh grabbed it with his tiny palm.

Srishti smiled at their way of promising and shook her head. Sahil gave her a questioning look but she just smiled and said nothing. It was Sahil's way of promising and he did that only with Ayaansh. No one else.

"Let's go," Srishti said and Ayaansh looked at her. "Whele?" He was curious and his Mumma grinned at him.

"Terrace," She replied and he was excited all of a sudden. Just like his parents, Ayaansh Malhotra loved terraces. Sahil chuckled looking at their excited faces and followed them behind.

While the trio spent some quality time on the terrace, downstairs, Zevah woke up from her sleep, feeling the urge to pee. She didn't wake Aditya knowing he was already tired and slowly got up from the bed.

After she did her business in the washroom, she stepped out to go back to the bed. Just when she was about to sit, she felt a gush of water between her legs. Zevah's eyes widened and her hand went on her belly.

Now?

"Adi," She called him, taking a deep breath but he just kept snoring. What the fuck? They were having a baby and he was sleeping like an elephant.

"Aditya!" She yelled, throwing a pillow on his face. He got up with a gasp and looked around frantically. "What, what happened?"

Zevah gritted her teeth, "This happened." She pointed down and he followed her gaze. For a minute, he couldn't understand what was she trying to say until she yelled again, "Aditya, it's time."

"Oh fuck!" He sprang up and ran towards her. "Take deep breaths. In and out─" Zevah cut his blabbering in between, "I'm doing that, you get the car." She hissed and he realised that he was behaving dumb.

As he ran out, he called Sahil because going to his room and waking him up would waste a lot of time.

"What? Now, no one is going to play your stupid gam─"

"It's time!" Aditya blurted out and Sahil went silent. "Now?" He questioned and Aditya rolled his eyes. "No, after I pass out. Get your ass here and help me." Sahil cut the call leaving Aditya bewildered.

Two minutes later, he found the three of them walking down. "You were at the terrace?" Aditya questioned and Sahil looked around. "Where is Zevah?" With a panicked face, Aditya ran inside.

"Srishti, you stay home with Ayaansh. I'll drive them." Sahil ordered and Srishti frowned. "What? Why can't I come?" She pouted and looked at Ayaansh who had no idea what was going on.

He was about to reply but just then Aditya and Zevah walked out. Srishti looked at her in concern, "Will you be alright? Should I come?" Zevah pursed her lips and nodded.

"I'll be fine. You stay with Ayaan." She smiled at Ayaansh who was staring at her with his big, innocent eyes. Sahil had already left to get the car while Ayaansh finally asked, "Mumma, whele is Zee gone?"

As they drove away, Srishti made Ayaansh sit on the couch and tried to distract him but the kid was either stubborn or too smart.

She sighed. "Ayaan, baby, Zee has gone to get you a present. Do you want a present?" He nodded and grinned eagerly. "Then you need to sleep because if you don't then your Zee will be angry and she won't bring anything." He pouted as he didn't want to sleep.

When they had come to know about Zevah's pregnancy, Srishti had insisted that they shifted with them to their new home. After a lot of bickering, emotional blackmail and explanations, both of them had agreed.

Srishti couldn't be more ecstatic as every day with her best friend was, well, entertaining. They planned everything. From guessing the gender of the baby, to what names would they would prefer.

Now, as she paced in the living room with Ayaansh sleeping on the couch, she couldn't help but feel anxious. She wanted to be with her best friend but knowing it would bring a lot of attention, she knew she had to stay at home.

Hours later, Srishti heard the door opening and she immediately got up from the couch. Sahil entered with a tired look on his face and she walked upto him.

"What happened? Is Zevah okay? The baby? Everything went fine, right?" Srishti rambled causing him to sigh and drop his head on her shoulder. She stopped, holding him close as he pulled her by her waist.

She instantly felt guilty, "Sahil, I'm sorry. Are you─" He mumbled something against her skin but she didn't quite understand. "What?" Her face scrunched up.

Sahil moved a little back and repeated, "It's a girl." He watched her expression change from blank to realisation to happiness and finally settled on crying.

He sighed, "I knew you would cry." He grunted not really liking her tears but she just ignored his comment and hugged him back. He smiled into the hug, feeling content.

"When are they coming home?" She sniffed, rubbing her nose onto his shirt. "Maybe by tonight." He replied as it was already six thirty in the morning. All he wanted was to drop dead on the bed.

"Let's go to sleep, I'm tired." He could barely keep his eyes open and Srishti nodded as he unwound his arms and bent to pick Ayaansh.

The two of them slept until afternoon and could have slept more, had not Ayaansh ruined their sleep. "Mumma, wake up. I'm hungly." He whined as he climbed on top of her and hugged her.

Srishti opened her eyes and hugged her baby back, squishing him in her arms. Ayaansh giggled trying to get out of her hold and Srishti smiled with her eyes closed.

"Dadda," He called for help. Sahil turned in his sleep and pulled Srishti towards him causing her to gasp. "Now, nobody can escape." He muttered sleepily and Ayaansh pouted angrily.

Srishti tried to wiggle out of his arms and so did Ayaansh but he was too strong even in his sleep. Suddenly Ayaansh grinned evilly and without waiting for another second, poked Sahil's side.

The suddenness caused him to jolt and his grip loosened. Srishti stared amused as Sahil narrowed his eyes at Ayaansh who was still giggling.

"You little─" With a scream, Ayaansh managed to scramble out of the bed and run before his Dadda tickled the hell out of him. Sahil flung the covers and followed him, leaving Srishti chuckling behind.

It had been three years, Ayaansh was four years old and the only thing that concerned her was his behaviour towards people. He hated interacting with anyone who wasn't his Mumma, Dadda, Adi or Zee.

Sahil, on the other hand, didn't find this worrying because he was the same so he just shrugged it off much to Srishti's annoyance.

Later that night, Srishti impatiently waited for the three of them to return home. Ayaansh would look at his mother, then at the door which she would glance at every two minutes. "Mumma, who ish coming?"

Sahil glanced up at Srishti and rolled his eyes, "You can sit and wait, you know?" She narrowed her eyes at him, "You have already seen her." She accused him and he smirked.

Seeing him smirk, she so wanted to punch him in the face but considering Ayaansh was in the same room, she controlled herself.

It was eleven thirty at night, when Aditya and Zevah returned back. Srishti's eyes widened as she saw the little bundle in Zevah's arms.

Zevah chuckled, "Are you going to just stand there like an idiot?" Srishti snapped out of her frozen state and excitedly went towards them.

Her eyes fell on the little angel and she couldn't control the 'aww' that slipped out of her mouth. "She's so cute and beautiful." Srishti gazed down at her with adoration in her eyes.

"I know, she got charms from her father." Aditya boasted and Sahil smacked his head. Wincing, he glared at him, "Stop hitting me infront of my daughter." He glowered and Sahil rolled his eyes. "Exactly, start behaving like a father."

"Mumma," Ayaansh was frowning because everybody seemed to have forgotten him. Srishti asked Zevah to sit on the couch after which she sat beside her with Ayaansh on her lap.

Ayaansh's eyes fell on the new, tiny person and he just stared. "Who ish he?" His eyes never left her face and Srishti chuckled. "Not a he, baby. She is a girl."

"What ish hel name?" Srishti raised her eyes at Zevah who only grinned. Aditya smiled staring at his daughter before uttering, "Jaanvi. Jaanvi Singhania."

"Jaavi" Ayaansh clasped his hands seemingly excited and the four of them shared a small laugh at his mispronunciation.

Jaanvi opened her eyes for a second, looking at Ayaansh before she closed them again and went to sleep. Ayaansh grew more excited, "Mumma, she ish cute."

"Ish she mine?" The question was innocent but it left all four of them baffled.
