《Billionaire's Baby ✓》Chapter Fifty-Nine

"Srishti, I─"
Srishti almost threw the glass of water at him. It had been a week since everything was finally back to normal except her husband.
He had been like this since the past few days. Or actually the whole week. He wouldn't go beyond 'Srishti, I─' and it was getting on her nerves.
When he go beyond, the words made no sense to her.
"Srishti, I─I need that file."
"Srishti, I─I think Ayaansh is sleepy."
"Srishti, I─I am leaving."
So, she expected something utterly useless this time as well. When he didn't speak anything further, she turned around and stared at him, waiting for him to continue.
Sahil fumbled again. Seeing her, all that confidence he seemed to have gathered went down the flush. She was still waiting for him to complete his sentence but it wasn't like she was expecting something important.
"Yes, you what? Need a glass of water? Think Ayaansh is hungry? Or you want to tell me that you forgot?" She was pissed and he pursed his lips, annoyed at himself as well.
"I, just─"
"Oh shut up, Sahil. It's getting too annoying and if you are doing this to purposely then─then I─" This time she fumbled and he raised his eyebrows. What could she possibly do?
Sahil smirked. "Then you what, Srishti?" She glared at him and clenched her jaw. He was clearly enjoying this.
She huffed and looked away. Sahil chuckled seeing her getting angry and stretched out his hand to pull her towards him. She gasped at the suddenness and stared at him wide eyed.
"Since this is getting annoying, let me cut the chase," He paused, tucking her hair behind her ear as she continued staring at him. "I like you, Srishti." He confessed with a serious face.
Srishti blinked. Then blinked again. When his words registered her mind, a laugh escaped her lips. She tried to stop as he gave her an offended look but it was out of her control.
She laughed loudly in his arms while he stood there with an annoyed expression on his face, waiting for her to get over it. She did after five minutes but her eyes were still laughing.
"So, all these days, you were ─you were trying to tell me that you like me?" She chuckled and he frowned, not finding anything funny.
"Shutup, it's not everyday I tell you about my feelings." He grumbled and she shook her head with a smile. Srishti encircled her arms around his waist and rested her cheek on his chest. Almost immediately his arms went around her tiny frame, pulling her more close even when there was no space left.
She smiled against his chest. "Sahil, thank you for telling me. You know my feelings for you are more than like but let's take it slow." She looked up and he raised his brows. "One step a time?" She said cutely and he chuckled.

He flicked her forehead and she winced. "One step at a time." He agreed with a smile which turned her glare into a smile as well.
Sahil leaned down and her smile vanished as her lips parted voluntarily. Just as he was about to kiss her, she turned her face away. His lips landed on her cheek causing her to giggle.
He narrowed his eyes at her playfully and she just smirked. "No kissing. We're taking it slow, remember?" She teased and he gave her a warning look.
"Are you forgetting that you're still in my arms?" He asked and tightened his hold on her which made her realise that she was indeed trapped.
Srishti tried to get out of his hold but he was too strong. She pouted. "Sahil, let me go. Ayaansh must be awake." She whined and he shrugged.
"Just one kiss." He said and she made a bad face. "No! Stop. Don't trap me, literally, and don't you have work? Why are you still here, like a cli─" His mouth descended down on hers, shutting her effectively.
The kiss was soft yet desperate. His lips moved against hers in sync and she couldn't help but curl her fingers on his chest at the intensity.
They didn't remember after how many days they kissed but the familiar feeling bloomed in their chests, making them feel complete.
He parted away and peered at her flushed face. She was beautiful, in every way and he couldn't believe she was still here after all he did. He didn't deserve her or maybe he did, he didn't care. All he knew, that this petite woman in his arms, was now his, in every way.

Aditya glared at Zevah as she gave him a teasing smirk. A week. It had been an excruciating long week of her teasing him. Yet, she showed no signs of stopping.
But he have had enough. He wasn't going to keep sulking. He had a mission. A mission to make Ayaansh say his name. He was going to do it, whatever may it cost.
But he had only one problem.
Sahil Malhotra. This person was his only hindrance. He wouldn't allow him to be with Ayaansh for more than an hour. All he said, it was dangerous for his son to be with him for more than an hour.
Like what the fuck?
"Are you going to stop?" He snapped at Zevah who made an innocent face. "What did I do?"
"Zevah," He warned her but she cut him off. "It's Zee, my new name." She corrected, enjoying the way his face turned red. She was enjoying this way too much.
Aditya stood up and dashed her way causing her to squeal and run away. She laughed as she ran and Aditya forgot all about his anger. He knew he was whipped but he didn't mind.

"Caught you." He whispered when his fingers grasped her hand and pulled her to him. Their breathing was uneven and so were their heartbeats.
But after a few minutes when her heart still refused to calm down, she knew it wasn't because of the running.
As Aditya's fingers glided across her stomach, her breath hitched. His lips brushed her ear, "I guess its my turn to tease you." He whispered huskily and she gulped.
"Aditya─" She tried but he turned her around abruptly causing her to gasp. The intensity in his eyes made her want to disappear but she knew she had nowhere to go.
"Yes, Zevah?" He smirked, as her lips parted when he leaned towards her. Just as their lips brushed, the door opened and they both sprang apart.
Aditya fumed. "Fuck you, Malhotra!" He yelled and Sahil only smiled coyly. He didn't even regret a bit and it was clear from his face. He was clearly enjoying his.
"Revenge, sweet revenge." He said smugly and Aditya was ready to punch him. He knew that this was on purpose but he chose to control himself only for Ayaansh.
"Where is Srishti? And Ayaansh?" Zevah asked in a meek voice, feeling embarrassed to even look at him. Sahil looked at her and replied, "Outside. I didn't want them to see you two in the compromising position you were earlier. They're too innocent." He was blunt.
He went out and few minutes later, walked in with the other two. Srishti stared at Aditya's pissed expression and then at Zevah's embarrassed one. "What happened here?"
"Ask your bas─" He stopped and mumbled something under his breath. Aditya then ignored Srishti's confused expression and smiled sweetly. "Nothing."
Ayaansh was silently watching Aditya but then his eyes found Zevah and he suddenly grinned. "Zee.. Zee"
Again? Was this junior Malhotra getting some kind of revenge on him just like his idiot of a father?
"Aww come here baby." Zevah melted and went towards him, taking him in her arms. Aditya looked away feeling the betrayal he felt time and again. What did he do to deserve this?
"Drama queen." Sahil remarked loudly with a sigh. Aditya curled his fists and clenched his jaw. Someone was going to be dead today.
Zevah went towards Aditya with Ayaansh but he refused to look at them. "Ayaansh, baby look, your Aditya uncle is angry at us. Let's hit him." Zevah took his tiny hand and made Ayaansh hit Aditya.
Ayaansh giggled as they did that few more times and even though Aditya tried hard, a smile formed on his lips listening his laughs.
"Yay, he smiled." Zevah cheered. "Now his face." She continued and hit him on his cheek. Aditya gaped at her but Ayaansh was enjoying this new game.
When Zevah left his hand, he continued hitting him on his own. "What are you teaching him?" Aditya growled lowly not wanting to scare Ayaansh.
Zevah laughed when he took Ayaansh away from her. Ayaansh kept hitting his face, now, with both hands. He felt Aditya's stubble tickling his hands and it made him giggle more.
"Okay that is enough." Aditya held his tiny hands in one and watched as Ayaansh immediately turned serious. He struggled to get his hands free and before he could start crying, Aditya hurriedly left his hands.
"Ayaan, baby no." Srishti said strictly when he hit Aditya again. Hearing his mother's strict voice, Ayaansh stopped but pouted and rested his head on Aditya's shoulder, facing the other side.
He was angry. At his Mumma.
Srishti chuckled at his tantrums and Sahil smiled as well. Zevah gave a guilty look to Aditya as he glared at her.
"It's fine. He'll forget about it in a few hours." Srishti assured Zevah and Aditya.
Few hours later, as expected, Ayaansh was busy playing toys with his Mumma and Aditya uncle while Sahil and Zevah sat there, watching the trio.
"Do you think happiness is temporary?" Zevah blurted out and Sahil looked at her. "Everything is temporary. You just have to live in the present and not worry about your future. I guess I learnt this from her." Sahil muttered staring at Srishti.
"Do you love her?" She questioned as she watched Aditya prompting Ayaansh to say his name. He won't give up. She chuckled.
"Love? These emotions I'm expressing recently, the ones I'm feeling, are enough to overwhelm me. I don't know about love but I know that she's much more important than anything else." He confessed and Zevah smiled.
Both of them had never thought of having such a conversation but nothing is predictable. Atleast not in the wattpad world.
"Ugh. I give up." Aditya sprang up, frustrated at every failed attempt. He thought it wouldn't be that hard but it seems like Ayaansh had made up his mind in annoying him.
Of course, he was Sahil's son, what did he expect. Giving one last glare to Sahil, he was going to strut away when it happened,
"Adi."

Author's Rant
Just a disclaimer, this is not and never will be a story. I just, noticed I have a bad habit of wanting to rant in my author's notes, and have decided that, instead of accidentally doubling the length of each chapter with the author's note alone, I will shove those long-ass rants here. It might contain spoilers for my stories, as I usually wind up ranting about different parts I'm writing. So, if you actually enjoy my rants...well, firstly, what is wrong with you? Secondly, welcome! Time to figure out what tags to stick on this. Also, as of the second chapter, I have decided to shove some of my story ideas here. So if you enjoy half-baked, unfinished stories, then I got those too. I think that adds that short story tag?
