《Billionaire's Baby ✓》Chapter Fifty-Eight

"Are you alright?" Aditya yelled after they heard the gunshot. Sahil and Srishti shared a look of confusion, looking the way Reva went.
"Peachy. You didn't tell me we were dealing with a psycho." A voice yelled back, annoyance clear in his tone. Srishti frowned not realising the voice and Sahil shook his head, not really interested in knowing who it was, as long as Reva was out of the picture.
"Oh man, you crazy woman, stop struggling." They heard commotion outside and quickly walked out. "No! Give me my gun." Reva screeched and clawed at the officer.
He hissed as she scratched his face. "What the fuck! Fucking lunatics in my cases every time." He muttered angrily, cuffing her hands.
Aditya sniggered and was shot a dark look by the person. "Stop laughing when the least you could do was thank me." He gritted and Aditya smirked.
"Thank you, officer." It was Srishti and he just shot her a polite smile before glaring at Aditya. Sahil seemed amused at the exchange between the two but said nothing.
"You, I won't leave you. I will kill you." Reva screamed violently and Sahil rolled his eyes. He saw Srishti narrowing her eyes with her jaw clenched. She looked hot and badass considering she was bruised and a little bloody.
Srishti scoffed. "You can't even handle one thing and you will kill me? Keep living in your dreams, bitch." She chuckled as the officer forcefully pushed her inside the jeep.
"Wait, there's one more thing. Where are the papers?" Sahil asked and the officer handed them over to him.
"You didn't check them after I signed them, Reva. Very bad." He faked sympathy and as Reva and everyone else looked on confused, he gave the papers to her and she passed him an annoyed look.
With a smirk, he said, "My bad." He kept them infront of her and she took in the sight.
There, at the bottom of left side, where his signature should've been there, it was written in bold, "DUMB BITCH"
She breathed heavily and glared at him, while he shot her a devious smirk. Before she went on screaming and yelling again, the officer hurriedly sat in the car and drove away.
Srishti turned to Sahil, "What did you write?" She was curious and he passed her the papers. Aditya went beside get and peeped in with concentration.
After reading it, Aditya burst out laughing whereas Srishti chuckled, shaking her head. Sahil only shrugged hiding the smile threatening to break on his lips.
"That was a good one." Aditya praised him, slapping his shoulder and ignoring the irritated look shot his way.
They sat in the car not wanting to stay in that place any longer. As Sahil drove the car, he kept glancing at Srishti who now rested her head on the seat.

"By the way, Aditya you knew the officer?" Srishti questioned remembering the exchange between the two. She kept her eyes closed, too tired to move.
Aditya grumbled something. "Yeah well sort of. His name is Siddharth and I met him at a park." He had never imagined him to be a cop when he asked for police help. It was a surprise for both of them as they met but there was no time to greetings and exchanging pleasantries.
Sahil stared at him through the rear view mirror and he royally ignored him. "Why did you follow me when I clearly asked you not to." He narrowed his eyes showing fake annoyance when deep down he was thankful for having a best friend like him.
"Oh please, we all know what would've happened if I didn't appear. You should be thankful that I saved your life." Aditya said arrogantly and Srishti smiled in her drowsy state.
Sahil noticed it and felt his heart flutter at that small action. He was still wary of her for not listening to him but was glad that she was okay and no major damage was done.
Once they got home, Zevah who was sitting in the living room along with Ayaansh, shot up and hugged Srishti tightly. Srishti hugged her back, trying not to hiss in pain.
Ayaansh squealed loudly seeing his parents and jumped on his place. Srishti smiled and walked towards him, picking him up and he immediately tried to touch her bruise, causing her to hiss slightly.
Sahil took him from her arms and she frowned. She missed her baby, why would he do that.
"You need to treat your wounds first or maybe take a shower first." He said and she narrowed her eyes. "Are you implying that I stink?" He gave her a blank look and Ayaansh giggled at his father's state.
"Hah! Ayaansh buddy, you sure know how to laugh at your father's misery." Aditya grinned as he held Ayaansh's little hand and gave him a high-five.
Ayaansh looked at Aditya, his smile disappearing, which caused him to panic. "What? Do you not remember me? Oh no no no, I'm your favourite uncle who's going to help you find a girlfriend, remember?" He stared at Ayaansh expectantly who gave him a big smile, showing his four teeth.
Aditya sighed in relief and Zevah snickered. Sahil gave him an annoyed look while Srishti quietly walked away, too tired to laugh on Aditya's silliness. Maybe Sahil was right, she did need a shower.
────────
Taking a shower felt refreshing and she felt much more alive than before. When she stepped out of the bathroom, she found Sahil waiting in the room with a first aid kit ready and placed on the bed.
"Where is Ayaansh?" She asked and he ignored her question, pulling her hand and making her sit on the bed. When he started treating her wounds without replying her, she grew irritated.

"Sahil," She whined. "Tell me where is he?" She pushed his hand away when he tried to apply the medicine. Glaring at her, he tried again but she hit his hand again.
This continued for few times until he grew pissed, and held both her hands back, pulling her closer. Srishti gasped at their proximity and gulped when he made no move to let her go.
"Sa─Sahil," She whispered and he slowly moved away letting her breathe. She thought he would let go of her hands, however he simply held them back in his one hand and with his free hand, he applied the medicine.
She struggled to free her hands but he held them in a tight grip. "Sahil." She chided not really liking his silence. She knew he was angry at her and he had every right to be but how was she supposed to apologise when he won't even talk to her.
She huffed, "Are you going to talk to me?"
He didn't reply.
When he was done, he closed the box and released her hands. She felt relieved and rubbed her wrists, still hoping he would say something.
Sahil got up to leave when she concluded she have had enough of his silent treatment. She held his hand and gave him a frustrated look, "Stop it, Sahil. I know you are angry at me for leaving like that but what could I have done? Did you expect me to sit quietly after seeing that video?" She snapped and immediately regretted it when his jaw clenched.
He harshly tugged his hand out of her grasp, and gave her a sharp look. "I just expected you to trust me a little, Srishti. Clearly you don't trust me even a tiny bit." He spat bitterly and she flinched.
"I get it, our relationship isn't normal but this was about your safety. Why do you think I asked Aditya to go to the orphanage? I told him to go and you heard it as well, didn't you? Yet you still left!" He raised his voice and she knew he was right.
"I had sent guards at the orphanage as well, Srishti. Do you think I'm stupid that I won't predict Vishal to target your weak point?" This time she frowned at him. "You could've informed me about it, Sahil." She complained in a low voice.
He sighed. "Yes, I could have but would you trust me then? Only because I prove it to you that I did something, would you easily trust me?" He questioned and she looked away.
"Srishti, I have told you this before and I am telling you again. You are important to me as much as Ayaansh is and I won't let anything happen to any one of you. I know how important the orphanage kids are for you and they won't face any danger because of me or anyone, I promise." He said sincerely and she felt like she was seeing a completely different side of him.
"I'm sorry." She sighed and he just stared at her. "I know it was stupid of me to run away like that but I tend to lose my mind when it comes to my kids. But I promise that won't happen again." She smiled at him and he nodded with a small smile.
"Srishti, I─"
"Here we are," Aditya barged in with Ayaansh in his arms and Srishti quickly stood up forgetting about Sahil's incomplete statement.
She took Ayaansh from him who readily went to her, making Aditya pout. "He forgets me seeing his mother." He grumbled. "I don't like you." Aditya scowled at Srishti making her giggle.
Sahil was literally annoyed. He had enough of Aditya the whole day. "I think you should leave." He muttered coldly.
Gasps were heard in the room. It was Aditya and Srishti.
"Stop being rude." Srishti hissed at him but he only rolled his eyes. Aditya gave him a sad look, "Is this how you repay me? All those times I took care of you and now taking care of your son, don't you remember how to treat me with kindness?" Aditya said dramatically walking towards Sahil who have him a warning look.
"Or you just want me all by yourself." He grinned seeing the disgust in Sahil's face. "You could've just said so. Come here, let me give you a kiss." He puckered up his lips and Srishti tried hard to control her laugh seeing Sahil's expression.
Sahil shot her a look as a giggle escaped her lips and he asked her to help him get rid of Aditya. She frowned and shook her head. He warned her with his eyes and she sighed.
"Aditya, leave him alone." She muttered unwillingly even though she was enjoying the show. Aditya opened his eyes and looked at her as if she had betrayed him.
Sahil smirked at the turn of events. Before Aditya could blame her, she changed the topic, "Where is Zevah?"
Aditya narrowed his eyes and she smiled sweetly. "She's sleeping." He mumbled still upset with Srishti.
"Zee.. Zee" Ayaansh babbled nibbling on Srishti's chain and the three of them were stunned. Srishti and Sahil were surprised whereas couldn't handle anymore betrayals.
"He said her name?" He muttered in a daze and Srishti felt sorry for him. "She's not even here. She didn't even promise him in finding a girlfriend and he says her name?" He cried out and Sahil chuckled.
Srishti glared at Sahil but he shrugged. Just as he was sniffling, Zevah walked in, yawning, "What's going on?"
"Zee.. Zee" Ayaansh grinned looking at Zevah and Aditya cried, "Nooo."
