《Billionaire's Baby ✓》Chapter Fifty-Seven

Srishti groaned as she opened her eyes and blinked several times to adjust to her surroundings. Not that there was a sudden exposure of light but it was dark, all around.
She could only make out that the place was like a basement. When she tried to move, she realised that something was restraining her. Looking down she found herself tied to a chair.
"The bitch is awake." She looked up and glared at the person.
"Look at the ugly face. What did Sahil even see in you." The person scoffed and Srishti felt her lips curving despite the situation.
"The same thing he didn't see in you, Reva." She mocked her and smirked as her face grew red from anger or embarrassment, she had no idea.
"Watch your mouth or else I won't hesitate to kill you." Reva snarled, fuming at the audacity of the woman. She hated that Srishti wasn't even scared being tied up and on top of that, she was mocking her.
"So what happened to your partner?" Srishti asked casually, figuring out that Vishal was teamed up with this makeup kit.
"He's fucking dead. That useless piece of shit! Couldn't even do one job straight." Reva's eyes turned into slits as she remembered how Vishal had promised to take Srishti away with him so that she could have Sahil and his property.
"Tch! Too bad, you're alone now." Pouting, Srishti gave her a sympathetic smile. This time Reva didn't hesitate to land a slap right on her cheek.
Srishti chuckled, "How pathetic, fighting a person who's already tied up. Open these ropes and play a fair game." She gave her a sharp look and Reva's hands itched to do the same but she wasn't so foolish to let her talks trick her.
"Shut up, bitch. Just shut the fuck up. I don't care what happens now but I only want Sahil's property. He could go to hell but I'll make sure he transfers all his property in my name." The crazy glint in her eyes didn't go unnoticed by Srishti.
"Why would he give a psycho all his property?" Srishti made a confused face and for a moment Reva's face went blank.
"I will surely kill you. But first let's know a little about your son. What was his name again? Aryan? Ayaan? Ayaansh?" Reva smirked evilly as Srishti gritted her teeth in anger, glaring at her hard.
"Don't take my son's name from that filthy, good for nothing mouth." Srishti sneered, gripping the chair's handle tightly. She absolutely hated it when her son was brought into the picture.
"What? You don't like it? But I'm having fun. I actually saw him, he's just a little fu─"
"You are a crazy, psychotic, insufferable bitch who deserves nothing. I am so glad that Sahil ruined your career because you didn't deserve you. He rejected you, insulted you so many times but you're still a shameless bitch who keeps lurking around him. Your image is already ruined out there, Reva, this deed will only be an add on." Srishti breathed out, successful in diverting her attention from Ayaansh as Reva let out a scream and charged at her.

She didn't care about the punches or slaps delivered her way nor did she concentrate on the pain. All she thought was about Sahil and Ayaansh.

"Fuck! Her phone is switched off." Sahil gritted out, raking a hand through his already messy hair.
He had already punched those two useless guards or there before Aditya dragged him inside. He looked lethal. He was furious at Srishti for leaving despite his warnings. Why couldn't she listen to him for once?
"Sahil, an accident has occurred where Srishti's phone was last tracked. They have found a─" Aditya paused,"─a body. It's Vishal's. He's dead." He informed without feeling any remorse for the man.
"And Srishti? Where is she?" Sahil asked not really interested in knowing what happened to that fucker.
Aditya sighed. "She's missing."
"That means Vishal wasn't alone in all this." Sahil concluded through his clenched jaw.
Sahil's phone rang and he picked it up without any delay.
"You are rather eager to answer the call, Sahil." Reva purred into the phone and Sahil clutched the phone tightly. So it was her.
He had to keep his anger in check. "Where is she?" He asked bluntly and Aditya kept looking at him anxiously.
"Won't you ask about how I'm doing after you ruined my career and everything?" She sneered with hatred and he was losing every ounce of his patience.
"Cut the bullshit, Reva and tell me what do you want?" Sahil snapped and Aditya cursed in the background hearing her name. They had clearly underestimated her.
She chuckled, "I love this attitude of yours. Always turns me on." She whispered seductively and Sahil felt like smashing the phone against the wall.
"I'm going to send you an address. You need to come here, alone. And if you bring anyone else, I swear I'll kill this bitch." She hung up after that and Sahil cursed loudly.
"Aditya, I'll handle this on my own. Don't follow me," He ordered. "I'm warning you." He added as Aditya opened his mouth to protest.
"Stay with Zevah and take care of my son. I'll be back with Srishti soon." He promised and left, leaving Aditya in thoughts.
────────
Sahil reached the place and looked around trying to find a clue. The place was abandoned and there was no one even in the vicinity. Reva was a conniving bitch, but she was a dumb bitch.
"Welcome to my place, Sahil." He heard her voice and turned around to find her all dolled up. What? Is she going for some fashion show?
"Where is Srishti?" He repeated his question he had asked her one phone. Her smile dropped and eyes shone with fury.
"You didn't tell me you married an ugly bitch, Sahil." She gritted out and Sahil gave her a blank look. "I didn't marry you, Reva." He blurted out and she grew more red.
"You need to be careful of what you say, you asshole. Your wife is still in my possession and I can kill her with a snap of my finger." She warned him and his eyes roamed around the place.

"Now follow me." She ordered and Sahil clenched his jaw. He took orders from nobody. For Srishti, just for Srishti. He kept chanting in his mind as he followed her behind.
She led him to the basement where his eyes finally fell on her, tied on the chair. Two of her men stood beside her with a stoic face. She was unconscious but her bloody and bruised face made his blood boil.
"Fucking dumb bitch. How dare you touch her." He gave her a murderous look and she took a step back in fear. But quickly composing herself she stepped away from him, taking out a gun and pointing it at Srishti.
"Don't talk to me like that." She yelled, "Go over there and sign those damn papers." She pointed at the other corner still aiming at Srishti who seemed to be waking up.
Sahil was still glaring at her when he noticed Srishti gaining consciousness. Reva walked towards Srishti and pulled her hair causing her to hiss in pain.
"Go now!" She glared at Sahil who gritted his teeth and walked towards where the papers were kept.
"Sahil, don't." He heard her faint whisper and his heart clenched. "Shut up!" Reva yelled at Srishti but she cared less.
Quickly signing on those papers, he walked towards Reva who looked elated at her victory. "Stop right there." She commanded him and passed the gun to her men who held it at Srishti's head.
Sauntering towards Sahil, she smirked and pulled him by his collar. Srishti looked away in disgust as her heart clenched in pain.
"Now let's seal the deal with a kiss." She whispered seductively and Sahil gave her a cold look before pushing her hand away.
"I would rather bleach my mouth." His tone was serious and Srishti bit her lip to stop herself from laughing.
"I think you don't care about your stupid wife." Reva muttered darkly. "Kill her." She ordered her men who were ready to pull the trigger.
"Fine!" Sahil interrupted and Srishti's heart dropped. She felt bile rise in her throat as she leaned closer and he did the same.
Just as his lips were about to touch hers, he grabbed her by her neck, choking her. Reva struggled to free herself from his grip as she coughed and started turning blue. The two of her men eyed each other not knowing what to do.
"He─Help." She managed to speak and both the idiots ran towards her, pocketing the gun. Seriously? She even hired these men from her circle. Dumbass.
Sahil pushed Reva with force as she landed on the floor, trying to breathe while he dealt with those idiot goons. They didn't even look professional.
In no time both of them were out and Sahil ran towards Srishti. "Are you alright? Does it hurt?" He inspected her wounds as he untied her.
"I'm fine, Sahil. But why did you sign this papers? You didn't even read ─" He put a finger over her lips to stop her from talking and she frowned.
Meanwhile, Reva recovered slightly and got up stumbling. Her eyes landed on the gun, which was laying beside one of her men. Hurriedly, she picked it up and aimed it at the couple.
"I will kill you!" She screamed and Srishti looked at the crazy woman. Sahil turned around and stood straight as he watched her fumbling with the gun.
He didn't doubt her that she won't pull the trigger but the psycho she was, her aim was going to be pathetic. He just had to distract her and get Srishti out of here, safely.
"Look, Reva, I signed those papers like you asked. Now let us go." He said cautiously gauging her reaction and her eyes narrowed at him.
She scowled, "You tried to kill me."
"You tried to ki─" He stopped because it was going to fuel her anger. "Nevermind. Look, let Srishti go and I'll stay. Then I'll do anything you want." He made a disgusted face mentally but kept his face blank.
While he tried to distract her, his eyes landed on someone behind her. He tried not to be obvious but guess Srishti couldn't control herself as her eyes widened.
Reva whirled around and pulled the trigger without looking at who it was.
The person shrieked, jumping at the sound. "Aye, you psycho bitch." Aditya yelled keeping a hand on his heart which felt like it would leap out of his chest.
Reva grabbed the papers which were in her reach and aimed the gun at Aditya who seemed terrified.
"Let me go or I'll shoot!" She hissed and he blinked. "Get out then. When did I stop you?" He moved aside with a horrified look, hands in the air in surrender.
Sahil rolled his eyes at Aditya's act and Srishti felt worried. She was running away and it would create more problems.
"Sahil, those papers─"
"Srishti relax, that's not important right now." Sahil interrupted her as he watched Aditya practically run towards them.
"Coward." Sahil mumbled under his breath but Aditya heard him. "Let me shoot at you and see how you react!" He hissed back.
"Srishti, you okay?" He turned towards her with a worried expression and she nodded with a small smile. Her eyes were fixed on Reva who was now at the exit.
"You called the fucking police!" They heard her screaming like a banshee. Sahil and Srishti looked at Aditya who shrugged in response.
Then again a gunshot was heard.

Borne of Desire
A man given a new lease on life finds himself amongst pokemon. From his memories of pokemon as a whole, he assumes the power of pokemon and the world around him runs on convenient fate, rule of cool, and cheesy friendship just like any other anime. It's all the mindless indulgence I DONT want in a serious story. It's a very seat-of-my-pants for-fun project and is written with no storyboard. Updates will be inconsistent and quality cannot be assured. Not to be taken too seriously.
