《Billionaire's Baby ✓》Chapter Twenty-Six

Gay? He's gay? Oh my God, that is why he married me? Because he didn't want to come out as gay infront of the whole world? Oh my God!
Srishti started hyperventilating as she heard Aditya's words and silence from the other side. She didn't hear Sahil accepting it but neither did he deny it.
"Srishti? Srishti, relax." Zevah tried to pacify her but she wasn't listening. Her breaths turned harsh and she started gasping for air.
Hearing Zevah's panicked voice, both Sahil and Aditya moved outside and saw Srishti's condition. Sahil moved forward and tried to hold her shoulders but she kept pushing him away.
"Srishti, what's wrong? Breathe. Just breathe." Aditya breathed deeply asking her to do the same and she tried to concentrate. He held her shoulders and she let him, which made Sahil to look at her and Aditya.
Few minutes later she was back to normal and sitting on the bed with Zevah by her side and the two men standing a little far. She drank some water on Zevah's insistence and sighed.
"But what happened all of a sudden?" Aditya's voice cut through the tension in the room and all eyes went on Srishti.
"I just ─I don't know." She sighed closing her eyes and tried to forget what she had heard even though she knew she couldn't.
"I need to talk to her, alone." Sahil announced staring straight at Srishti. Aditya shared a look with Zevah who looked ready to argue but he shook his head.
Huffing she looked away before both of them made their way out of the room. Sahil closed the door and walked back to where Srishti was pretending to sleep.
"Drop the act. I know you're not sleeping." He stated bluntly and she muttered some colorful words under her breath.
"What happened?" The question was direct and it made her uncomfortable. She shifted slightly while Sahil watched her every move with his hawk eyes.
"I─I heard what he said. I know the truth." She stuttered and immediately closed her eyes after that to avoid seeing his angry face.
As for Sahil, he grew confused as to what she was saying. What truth she was talking about? And why does she look so flustered?
"Which truth exactly are you talking about?" He asked and she shook her head in disbelief. Was he seriously asking her to say it out aloud?
"You know it. Why should I say it?" She said incredulously and he just looked at calm as ever. Did this man ever show any emotions? She tried to take a deep breath not wanting to think about it anymore.
"You need to speak clearly, Srishti so that we can talk it out like adults." He spoke after seeing her trying to calm herself and she shot him an annoyed look.

"Adults? You're talking about being adults when you hid this thing like an afraid person. I mean I know it must be difficult for you to find out of your shell but you didn't have to use me for that." Her tone was accusing in the end as her eyes narrowed in his direction.
Either she was crazy or that her mood swings were taking a toll on her. Sahil concluded as he watched her fiery glare directed at him.
────────
"What happened to her suddenly?" Aditya asked Zevah as they moved out to give them privacy. Zevah was already annoyed because she didn't want to leave Srishti alone.
"You didn't let me ask her." She grumbled because she had just arrived a minute before Srishti started panicking. She didn't know what did Srishti hear but had wanted to ask about it.
"So you're telling me you don't know? Well okay." He shrugged and she shot him an annoyed glance. What is wrong with him?
"Why are you behaving so weird?" She snapped out of nowhere and he looked amused at her outburst.
"What did I do?"
"Well you─you are not behaving like yourself." She fumbled and he smirked inwardly seeing that his indifferent behaviour towards her did affect her.
Before he could open his mouth to speak something in return, they heard a yell from Sahil's room.
"You─you are the problem!" It was Srishti's voice and so, giving each other a look, they ran towards the room. Without knocking they entered and noticed her furious stare directed at Sahil who looked every bit of annoyed.
"Sahil, what's wrong?" Aditya asked and both their attention snapped at him. Something akin to relief washed over Sahil's face and he sighed.
"I have absolutely no idea. Ask her if she tells you." His voice was sharp and Srishti winced. Zevah went towards her and sat beside her trying to calm her down.
"Srishti, will you tell us what has happened and why are you so angry?" Aditya pleaded her with his eyes and Srishti huffed looking away.
"Srishti," Zevah called out softly and she looked at her with tears in her eyes.
"He─he─my husband is gay!" She cried out and there were two gasps heard in the room.
"What. The. Fuck!" Sahil ground out looking pissed while Srishti sniffed to herself. Zevah sat there shocked whereas Aditya who had been blinking his eyes suddenly erupted into laughter.
The three of them stared at him dumbfounded while he continued laughing until his stomach hurt.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry but this is hilarious." He snorted and finally composed himself. Taking a deep breath he looked at Sahil who was looking at him with a cold expression.

"Srishti, I'm so sorry you had to know about this in this way." Aditya faked sympathy and Sahil balled his fists. Srishti looked at him teary eyed and then at Zevah who glared at him.
"You knew? You knew yet you didn't tell us." She accused and Aditya raised his hands up in surrender.
"It wasn't my secret to tell." He snickered and pursed his lips to stop the laugh.
"You─"
"Enough!" He thundered and they immediately shut up. Aditya gulped and without another word, pulled Zevah out of the room despite her protests.
Srishti frowned and looked away as Sahil locked the door and strutted towards her after that. Her eyes grew wide when he leaned in and she carefully leaned back keeping a hand on her bump.
"So you think I'm gay?" He whispered and she nodded a no then a yes before repeating the same. He smirked and pulled her forward gently making her breathe unevenly.
"Do you think I would've done that with you for this result if I was gay?" She was confused at first but when he pointed at her belly she understood what he was talking about.
"I─you─this─" She fumbled and he raised his brows staring straight in her eyes. First his proximity was creating a havoc in her heart and she couldn't even think properly.
Seeing her state he moved back and made her sit in a normal position but didn't back down. He had to make sure she knew the truth but he didn't even know why he was doing this. For all he could care, she would believe he was gay and stay away from him the rest of his life now that he already had his heir growing in her belly.
But he didn't. He didn't want her to think that he was gay. Not her.
"Tell me Srishti, should I kiss you so that you'll know about the reality?" He was just threatening her but seeing her eyes darkening a bit, he felt his own desires flaring.
He moved his head close to hers, watching her reaction carefully. He was slow, giving her enough time to pull back or push him away but when even after their lips brushed, she didn't back down, his control snapped and he placed his lips on hers.
Her chest heaved up and down and her hands instantly went around his nape as his lips worked his magic on hers. It was surreal yet it was only lust. She knew it were the hormones which didn't stop her from backing out but she couldn't help it.
His lips were soft yet demanding and she felt like a glass doll which could break any moment if he applied more pressure. They parted in need for oxygen and the reality soon crashed upon her.
He was not even close to being gay.
Warmth flooded her cheeks as she pursed her now swollen lips and looked away from him. He looked at her flushed cheeks and smirked before moving back.
"So now, do you still believe that your husband is gay?" The mocking tone made her look at him and her eyes widened seeing his state. His hair were disheveled from the artwork her hands performed, lips a bit swollen and eyes darkened.
The lust in his eyes was clear and he made no move to hide it and she was sure he would've seen the same in her eyes a moment before they kissed.
"Sahil? Srishti?" Aditya's voice followed by the knocks on their door brought them back to reality. Sahil cleared his throat and stood up from the bed while Srishti looked away nibbling on her lower lip.
"Sa─Mr. Malhotra." She called out just as he was about to open the door. He glanced at her with a questioning look and she gestured towards his hair which looked messy. He touched his hair and adjusted them well before opening the door.
"Oh thank god! What the hell were you two doing for so long?" Aditya barged inside followed by Zevah who worriedly stood by Srishti's side.
"Are you alright?" Zevah asked her with a concerned look and she just nodded in return not trusting her voice.
"So Srishti, what did he say?" Aditya asked suspiciously looking back and forth between the duo. Srishti's eyes widened as she remembered their kiss and her cheeks reddened yet again.
"I'll tell you, let's go." Sahil announced and Aditya chuckled nervously looking at the challenge in his eyes. He was so dead!
"Uh, well Zevah let's go. Our free time is over. We still have lots of pending work." Aditya jumped on her side and held her hand. Zevah gave him a confused look and spoke,
"But I checked your schedule and there's no─"
"NO─No need to worry. We'll handle our work and let Sahil handle his wife." He forced a smile her way and gestured her to keep quiet before they scurried out of the room. Sahil watched the drama unfolding before him with a bored look.
He will surely have his hands on Aditya sooner or later.

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y

A Spirit Vein's Guide to Immortality
TL;DR Synopsis: Man dies from falling banana, gets interrogated but answers vaguely, suffers consequences Actual synopsis: Spirit veins. Many consider them to be the pillar on which the world of cultivation is built. These things served as the foundation for the first few realms that would allow humanity to achieve its everlasting dream of immortality. However, in the present age, these pockets of condensed energy only exist to be under the foundations of massive organizations, fostering a new generation of fighters while passively radiating the energy they contain. Nevertheless, spirit veins are still an important element in the world of cultivation, albeit much less so. With that in mind, have you ever considered what it would be like for someone to turn into a spirit vein? No? Well, Arthur never thought about it either. Going through the usual reincarnation schtick (if one could consider it usual), Arthur was eventually brought into a place where a god asked him where he would like to be reborn. Unsurprisingly, Arthur told the god his ideal rebirth. However, soon enough, he would come to realize that he should have been more specific with it. Now being reborn as the smallest spirit vein, or if you could even consider him a spirit vein, Arthur wondered what he could do other than wait for time to consume him…and that’s where the system came in. With it, he would experience multiple stories of hardships, adventure, romance, and action…all underground. Unless…? Do keep in mind that English is not my first language, so I would like to apologize in advance if there are any grammatical errors, typos, miscalculations and so on. In fact, I'd highly appreciate it if you tell me those mistakes. Also, this story focuses quite a lot on the gradual progression of the MC at the beginning, but in the long run, upgrading sprees would probably be more common. Thanks for reading this small note!
