《Billionaire's Baby ✓》Chapter One

The noise of pages turning was the only sound heard in that room until there was a sigh. It was a sigh of tiredness that had left his lips, unable to take in the situation.

"So there is no other way to get the property?" He asked looking at the lawyer with a cold expression. The lawyer smiled nervously glancing at the person sitting beside the cold man.

"No," He replied meekly not wanting to upset him because he was very well capable of destroying him.

"Read that clause again." He ordered leaning back on his chair and staring at him intensely. The lawyer fumbled through the pages before getting to that clause and reading it out loudly.

"Transfer my entire property which includes 4 mansions, 3 farmhouses, my business, the neighbouring land, property on papers and everything to my grandson Sahil Malhotra, but only after it is made sure that he has a son or daughter of his own. If at all he remains single, all of my property must be transferred to a trust." He completed reading the clause and glanced at the man infront of him.

"From what I have understood from this clause, he nowhere has mentioned that I should get married or have a wife or get settled. So that means he only wished for me to have a heir of the family. Am I right?" The lawyer's eyes widened at how he had interpreted the situation. This man was surely crude and evil.

"But he has mentioned that if you remain single then you won't get anything. So doesn't that mean─" He said nothing after that knowing there was no need.

"I won't obviously be single after I have a son or a daughter. That does not anywhere mean I have to get into any relationship or worse get married right?" He raised his eyebrow daring him to defy him.

Sahil Malhotra surely knew how to twist the situation and have it favoured on his side. His friend beside him shook his head and sighed knowing how stubborn he was.

"I'll surely have a heir to this empire and once that is fulfilled, you will do the needful." He pointed at the papers, his eyes on the lawyer who nodded, gulping the saliva stuck in his throat.

Once the lawyer scurried out of the room, Sahil smirked relaxing on his chair. His grandfather was smart but he was smarter because he was his grandson.

"Sahil, are you sure this is all going to turn out beneficial for you? I mean do you think you'll be able to find such a woman who will agree to give you a baby and want nothing in return?" His friend asked and he smirked yet again.

"Aditya, I know you are concerned for me and I appreciate that but there is no one in this world who would want nothing in return. They will surely want something, maybe money or something else and as long as she is willing to give me what I want, I will give her whatever she wants in return." He concluded playing with the cube in his hand.

"Alright but I even doubt you will find such a woman who will firstly, agree to such a thing and even if she does then do you think a mother can give away her own child?" Aditya pointed out the obvious and his eyes darted towards him.

"She will have to. And that is why there will be a written contract which she will be signing so that later on in the future, I won't have to deal with such nauseating dramas." He rolled his eyes and Aditya carefully watched his friend who seemed determined to do what he wanted to.

He shrugged in defeat having nothing to say anymore as it was of absolutely no use. He was going to have his ways and would never stop for anyone and that is who, Sahil Malhotra was.

After Aditya left for he also had a company to run, Sahil called in his secretary the next instant.

"Yes sir?" He stood infront of him after being allowed to enter inside. Sahil said nothing for a few minutes which made him uncomfortable and shift on his place.

This was him. He had this aura to make people uncomfortable and uneasy with just his silence and his steely eyes would make their skin crawl.

"I want you to make a contract, the details of which will be dictated to you later. But right now find a list of girls ready to marry me. And I want it quick." He clicked his fingers and the next second his secretary was out of his office with hurried steps.

Twenty minutes later, he was back in his cabin with the list and he had to say he was impressed because the list was about ten pages long.

"Call the ones tomorrow with whom I will be able to meet and the rest, the next day, that is, if I don't find the suitable one. Now the contract. Write it down now and make it fast because I won't repeat myself. Also the typed version of this should be on my desk at the end of the day." The poor guy fumbled with his notepad and pen because Sahil Malhotra had already started.

Half an hour later, he was done and as he glanced at Rohit, his secretary, he found him grinning at the notepad.

"If I find a single error in the typed document, needless to say keep your belongings packed already because the termination letter will be on your desk." At his remark Rohit's face paled and he gulped.

"Th─There won't be a single mistake sir." He tried to be confident but failed and before that Sahil was already dismissing him with his hand.

For the second time he almost sprinted out of there as if saving his life from the monster. And it was true. He was a monster to his employees and a devil to the entire world.

The only one who could see him as a human was Aditya, Aditya Singhania, his best friend.

────────

Four hours later, the contract was on his desk and a nervous looking Rohit before him. He glanced at him and then picked up the contract.

Rohit wanted to run away at that very moment his boss's eyes fell on the first page and although he had checked and rechecked the contract almost ten times, he was still apprehensive.

"Did you recheck it?" Came his question and as if the reply was practiced, he blurted it out.

"Yes sir, ten times." He kept his mouth tight shut after that not wanting to say anything stupid.

"Good. You can leave." Just four words and Rohit felt all the tension leaving his body. He had never felt this relaxed in his entire life. And somewhere a little part of him was beaming at the praise.

He moved out and typed a reminder in his phone about calling about twenty girls tomorrow for the interview to be his boss's wife. He already prayed for the one who would be the 'lucky one'.
