Their first kiss was light, very gentle, and soft.

"I love you," Hari confessed, kissing her delicately on the forehead and easing his hand down the side of her face in a loving caress, causing Vihana to close her eyes.

"I love you more." Vihana's heart raced, her cheeks blushing red, as he looked at her intensely while his hand drifted down from her face to rest gently on her waist in a gentle embrace.

"I know." Vihana's eyes flew open at his words, and her cheeks reddened even more when she met his playful smirk.

"Dhanya is right! You are one arrogant and unromantic fellow!" She untangled her arms from his shoulder and crossed them across her chest furiously while he looked at her, confused.

"What did I do?"

"No one responds with an 'I know' when their lover tell I love you!"

"I know." Hari teased, drawing her into his arms again, who struggled to break free from his embrace.

"Stop struggling. Who is going to buy the Gulab Jamun then?"

At his words, her movements halted, her eyes widened, remembering the sweet that she has to deliver to the dining room. It happens all the time. When they are together, she forgets everything. Everything!

"Amma is going to kill me!" She gasped and looked at him with a pout.

"We will go and buy that now, okay? My clumsy lady!" Hari's soft chuckle echoed throughout the room as he pulled her close, his hand gently caressing her back, and she responded by pulling at his beard with a playful grin.

With the reception in full swing, the guests one by one came up to the stage to congratulate the newlywed couple, who looked like a match made in heaven with their wine-red color custom-made costumes.

It was so fun watching Prathyuksha blush every time Siddharth try to tease and flirt with her. And the youngster didn't help either as they hooted and cheered whenever she blush.

Hearing the commotion, Laksmi walked towards them. "What is happening here? Let them enjoy their wedding! You all move away from the stage!" She scolded them playfully, all the while watching her grandson as he whispered to Harshitha something, who replied by pushing him back with a smile.

"Vikram!" Lakshmi cleared her throat, moving towards the whispering couple who looked up at her nervously.

"Patti?"

"Go sit there." The old lady ordered, pointing to the chair away from Harshitha.

Vikram raised on his feet and moved away from his daring without a sound. Reason? He knows that their truth is in her hand. One word to his mom or her mom, they are over.

The cousin finally stopped teasing the couples and scattered across the hall with their phone, some chatting, and a few of them are playing games.

At every wedding, there will be one or more couples who try to flirt without getting caught. You can find them flirting only if you know their relationship beforehand cause they are very sly in that as if they have a Ph.D. in flirting without getting caught.

Harshitha and Vikram fell under this category. The flirting category.

Even though they are at risk of getting caught, they continued. Vikram raised his brows suggestively when she blew him a kiss.

'Shiva Poojayil Karadi Pugundha Maadhiri' Vihaan plopped down beside Harshitha, interrupting them.

(A Tamil quote used when someone interrupts something important)

"Harshi! Did you see Vihana?" Vihaan asked, his eyes looking around for his twin, who went to fetch that sweet, but she hasn't returned yet.

"Why? Are you worried?" She teased him, but her eyes trailed on Vikram, who mouthed something incoherent.

"No, I'm just asking. It was very peaceful for a while without her, right?" Vihaan nonchalantly shrugged when Harshitha looked at him with a smirk.

He is worried! It's been 20 minutes since she went to get that, and there is no one at the parking lot when he went in search of her.

Where did she go!?

"No, I haven't seen her, but I know she is with Hari anna," Harshitha responded, looking away from Vikram for a moment who was sitting across her, whose expression was flirty yet nervous as he winked at her playfully.

His mom was right. Despite no one's acceptance, he was reckless, and god knows how he would behave if he found out their mothers approved of their relationship.

And she planned to keep her promise. Let him suffer some.

"Harshitha! Go and have your dinner! You didn't eat well at lunch." Sakthi urged her daughter when she caught her, clutching her stomach.

"Food is ready?" Vihaan exclaimed, his eyes bright and lit as he followed Harshitha with a wide grin, forgetting about his lost twin, who's enjoying her night ride with her lover.

.

.

Hari smiled, intertwining their hands once he changed the gear to neutral, while Vihana gazed at him shyly.

"We can't park the car here, so I'll wait over that alley." He informed, pointing at that alley and handing her his credit card as he halted the car before the shop. Looking back at the honking car, he added. "Are you okay going alone?

"Yes!"

"No wait- I'll come with you."

"Hey! I'm a college girl now, and I can shop alone!" Vihana frowned, offended as Hari looked at her speechless.

"Okay, big girl! Can you make it quick?" He chuckled, pinching her cheeks playfully, who slapped away his hands with a pout and got down from the car hurriedly while Hari waited till she entered the shop and drove toward the alley.

.

.

Hearing a knock, Hari looked up from his phone to see Vihana standing beside his door, holding a plate and a bag.

He beamed as he assisted her into a car, his warm palm rested on her lower back gently, and another picked up her skirt so she would climb with ease.

The feeling of being loved and cared for by someone was super blissful! Vihana thought when she saw him straightening her lehenga's bottom.

"What's that?" Once seated, Hari asked, pointing at the plate as Vihana put down the sweet box in the back seat.

"A new sweet! They gave it for tasting." Vihana exclaimed and took a bite on the square-shaped sweet while Hari looked at her, amused as she closed her eyes in bliss, totally enjoying the sweet.

"Do you like it?" Having leaned against the steering wheel so he could see her better, Hari asked, to which she nodded, showing him a thumbs up.

"Here!" Vihana forwarded her hands toward him, urging him to take a bite while Hari gazed at her without blinking.

"I only took a bite this side. You can have the other side, and it doesn't have my saliva." Vihana bit her lips nervously when he didn't open his mouth.

"Come here." His hands gently pulled her head forward, and before she comprehended his intent, he kissed her lips, savoring the last traces of sweetness as she fluttered shut her eyes, her arms circling his shoulder on its own accord. The sweet long forgotten as their lips moved against passionately, tasting each other.

.

.

Harshitha and Vihaan walked inside the dining hall to see all the seats occupied. Well, it looks like they have to wait.

"Harshitha!" Prathyuksha's voice echoed in that hall as she waved at them to come over. Once they reached them, Vihaan signed in relief, seeing the empty seats beside them while the newlyweds chucked at his tactic.

"Are you that hungry, Vihaan?" Siddarth asked, looking at the young man who gulped down the water.

"Yup!"

"Where is your bodyguard?" Siddharth asked Harishtha, who was sitting on the other side of his wife.

"Huh?"

"Your boyfriend. You both will always be together, right?"

Harshitha choked on the water, hearing his question while Prathy patted her back gently. On the other hand, Vihaan looked at them wide-eyed.

'What the heck is happening?! Everyone knows?' He thought as he silently observed everything.

"Do you want Vikram to bring you some water?" A smirk swept across Siddharth's face when he found Vikram entering the hall.

(I feel bad for Vikram, everyone is enjoying but he😓- writer)

"Siddharth, stop teasing them!" Prathyuksha scolded, pinching his arms as Siddharth laughed aloud, gaining the other guest's attention.

"Okay, then shall I tease you?" Prathyuksha blushed when Siddharth whispered in her ear suggestively, to which she shyly rebuffed him.

.

.

Harshitha was relieved when she discovered Vikram seated inside their car. His shoulders hunched, and his head hung low while he sat slumped in the passenger seat.

"Vikram," Harshitha called, knocking on the window gently, to which he opened the door without the word.

"Hey." He smiled as she eased into his lap and closed the door.

"What are you doing alone? Anything wrong?" She asked, her dark shining hair hung in loose curls down her back as Vikram leaned his head on her shoulder, his arms wrapping around her clothed waist in a soothing embrace.

"Nothing. I'm just missing you." He confessed, snuggled her close to him as Harshitha smiled, combing her hands through his soft tresses.

"I missed you too!"

.

.

Vikram lingered near Harshitha's side window as she gazed at him with a smile while the elders spoke among themself before everyone goes home.

"I'll see you tomorrow?"

"I'll be there by 8! Temple, a ride on the bridge, and to college. What say?" Vikram leaned forward, resting his arms on the window as his eyes drank in his darling beauty, who nodded gleefully.

She's so gorgeous today, Like a goddess. His goddess.

"Vikram! Can we leave?" Radha asked, patting her son's shoulder bringing them out of their staring competition.

"Okay, Bye, Harshu." Vikram blinked his eyes lovingly at her and walked toward their car while Radha winked at her son's darling secretly and got on the vehicle.

After bidding everyone goodbye, everyone started their journey to their respective home.

.

.

Vikram stayed back and helped his mom sort out the laundry while the twins laid on the floor and watched the movie.

"Kids! Your college starts tomorrow, do you remember?" Siva Kumar asked, stepping inside the dark living.

"Appaaa!" The twins whined when he switched on the lights and urged them to get up.

"It's quarter to twelve."

They wanted to protest, but with one look at his expression, they raised from the ground.

"Vikram, you go too. I'll fold this tomorrow." Radha stated, caressing his head softly.

"Okay, ma. Good night."

"Vikram! Stay back. I want to speak with you about something. Vihaan Vihana, go upstairs." Sivakumar ordered, sitting down on the sofa as the twins glanced at their father and Vikram hesitantly.

"I said go to your room!" Sivakumar warned, signaling his elder son to sit before him. Vikram obeyed, taking a seat before him without a word.

Silence prevailed in the room as Radha lingered in the kitchen, pretending to wipe the glass so she would know what they were speaking.

It's not that they don't share anything with her! Her husband would probably tell her if she asked but what's the fun if you find it directly!

And her son, don't even start with him. He is an ice brick. Trying to get an answer out of him is so tough!

Speaking to him and a wall is the same.

She is happy that at least he shares his feelings with Harshitha. That's is enough for her!

'Ah! Her beautiful Harshitha! She looked so beautiful in a saree today. She should one day bring her shopping and buy her even more saree!' Radha thought.

Breaking out of her thoughts, she silently tiptoed towards the living room and hid behind the pillar so that she would hear without getting caught.

"How are your studies going?"

"Good pa" Vikram cleared his throat, trying to control his laughter at his mom's hiding figure.

'Did she think that they can't see her from here?' Vikram chuckled under his breath when she tried to peek at their expression. 'And why is she hiding in the first place? she could just come and sit next to his father!'

"You do know that you are in your final year, right?"

"Yeah"

"Try to concentrate on your studies and break up with whoever you are in a relationship."

"Huh? What?" Vikram blinked, confused. 'What is his dad speaking about?'

"Oh, you don't know? Who is that wildcat that you saved on your phone? and she is calling you baby on her every sentence."

Radha gasped, palming her mouth so she could not laugh out loud. Wildcat? Harshitha is more like a gentle cat! Her son is so tasteless when it comes to a nickname like his father!

Shaking her head, she waited for her son to reply.

".......

'Oh no!'
