Writer's pov;

"So, what do you think we should do now?" Harshitha asked, breathing near his ears suggestively while her hands stroked his nape, clearly knowing the effect she has on him.

"What do you have in your mind, madam?" Vikram whispered as his heartbeat picked up when her lips came in contact with his skin.

Instead of answering, she peppered kisses across his neck to his cheeks, Vikram turned his head and tried to take her mouth in a kiss, but her lips left him and wandered to his neck, sending his heartbeat into a frenzy.

"Bab..baby!"

"Relax, Vikram!" She smiled against his skin when she felt his shiver.

Clamping her arms around his waist again, she leaned back to kiss him, the feel of her soft lips against his cold lips left his heart placating.

Unable to resist, his lips covered hers in a long warm kiss that left her short of breath.

"Well, this is new! My baby is getting bold!" Vikram teased, bopping her nose with a smile.

But the smile didn't last as Harshitha moved away from him, her arms hugging herself as she looked down at her feet, ashamed.

"Harshi, what happened? did I made you uncomfortable? Baby, I'm so sorry!" He apologized and lifted her trembling chin.

I'm so sorry, Harshitha! Please, please don't cry!" Vikram kneeled before her, and his heart dropped to his stomach when her teary eye met his.

"Am I being desperate, Vikram? I should be crying over what happened yesterday, right? But look at me." Her voice was barely more than a whisper as he pulled her hands off her face.

'Is it okay to be normal after something like this?' She contended as these thoughts rang through her mind.

"No, baby! Everyone has a different way of coping up. You cried it out and became normal. There is nothing wrong with being yourself after something like this! Don't! Don't ever doubt yourself!"

Gathering her in his arms, he pulled her close while she wrapped her arms around his neck and cried softly.

"Can you bring me some water?" She moved away from him and wiped her cheeks.

"Wait a minute, I'll be back." Placing a chaste kiss on her temple, Vikram hurried to the kitchen while she leaned against the couch.

Tucking her legs under her, Harshitha laid her head on Vikram's lap with a tired sigh as they decided to stay back and watch the movie in the living room.

She snuggled close to him and sighed in contentment when his hands caressed her back gently.

"Do you want to go up, baby? maybe you would take a nap." Vikram suggested, stroking her shoulder gently as she circled her arms around his midriff and snuggled her body close to his.

"No, I wanna be with you!"

"If you say so!" He said with a soft chuckle as he pulled her gently against him.

Few minutes into the movie, Vikram looked down to see her sleeping, her arms hugging his abdomen tightly, her thick lashes shut completely, hiding those bewitching charcoal eyes.

All the crying had left her exhausted.

He leaned over, stroking the side of her face and tucking errant tresses behind her ear as she smoothed her face against his hand unconsciously.

"I love you." He whispered, placing a soft kiss on her forehead.

His gaze turned soft when a content smile appeared on her lips at his words.

'You're my everything, Harshitha!'

.

.

"Did you order it?" Vihaan whined, poking his head out of the door.

"Be patient, Vihaan! It's still loading." Harshitha huffed, closing her eyes in frustration when the app showed, 'Sorry, we're unable to locate your location' Again!

"We are in the center of the city, for god sake! and why the fuck it show like this?" Harshitha complained, punching the pillow angrily while Vikram raised his eyebrow in surprise as vihaan ran away, not wanting to be at her mercy.

'Hungry Harshi is so scary!'

"Woah! That's some real aggressiveness!" Vikram chuckled but shut his mouth when he saw her glaring at him.

"I'm hungry, anna! and if you don't have any solution, don't speak, anna!" Harshitha mocked, raising from the couch with a smirk as Vikram closed his eyes to control his temper.

(Anna-elder brother)

Harshitha gasped as he backed her against the wall. She struggled, but he wrapped his arms around her in a hold she couldn't break.

"Darling, I'm serious when I say you to stop calling me brother whenever you get angry unless you want me to call you Tangachi" Leaning down, he warned her, his hot breath fanning against her cheek as she glared at him.

(Tangachi-Younger sister)

On hearing his words, she growled and stomped his feet, leaving the room not before threatening him.

"I'll kill you!"

'Wildcat!' He chuckled, rubbing his feet.

The sound of the doorbell interrupted Vihana's baking. Wiping her wet hands on the apron, she walked to the front door, wondering who might be.

Her heart skipped a beat when she looked at the peephole.

There, Hari stood with a wedding bouquet in his arms, his hair shining golden from the sunset, waving slightly from the air.

Fumbling with locks, she opened the door eagerly, her lips in a wide grin, but it turned to a shy smile when he greeted her.

"Hi, Viha! Did you sleep well?"

"Umm, yeah. Hi!" Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear shyly, she moved aside to let him in.

Hari smiled and closed the door once they got in.

For several seconds, they stood at the doorway in silence, just staring at each other.

It's the first time they were alone after they started dating, so it was kinda nerve-wracking for them both.

"Where are they? Vikram's bike is not in the garage." He questioned, breaking the silence as he looked around to find no one in the living room.

"Harshi was hungry, and Swiggy is not working, so they went out to get some food," Vihana answered as she eyed the bouquet in his hands without a word.

(Swiggy- Online food ordering and delivery app)

Sensing her silent question, Hari answered as they walked to the living room.

"It's for Prathy Akka. They got the wrong flower, it seems. Just now, they found her fiance is allergic to the flower they bought before."

"Oh, Okay."

"OMG!" Suddenly, Vihana gasped, remembering that she left the chocolate frosting she was making halfway.

Placing the bouquet on the couch, he followed to see her icing a chocolate cake.

"Anything special?"

Vihana felt as if someone poured cold water on her.

'He didn't remember?'

Masking her sadness, she nodded negatively.

"Can I help you with anything?" He raised a brow, signaling the cake with his thumb while leaning against the kitchen door.

"No!"

"Okay then, I'll freshen up and come."

.

.

'It's not that important to be remembered, Viha! It's just a 3rd month anniversary. It's okay!' Vihana breathed, convincing herself.

Hearing the footstep, she glanced up and smiled when he walked in, his gaze drifting from her to the beautifully decorated cake.

"Beautiful!" He asserted.

"Thank you! I was practicing this for years."

"Not the cake. I'm talking about you!"

Vihana gasped, feeling the warmth of color invading her cheeks.

"Th-thank you, you too."

"Beautiful? Me? Sure, thank you!" Amusement danced in his eyes as she blushed, walking away, embarrassed.

But, he reached out and grasped her arm when she tried to move past him.

"What are you doing? someone might come!"

"Nobody is at home!" Hari whispered, walking further inside.

"I-" She backed away until the corner of the kitchen counters trapped her. She closed her eyes breathless when she felt his warm breath fanning on her forehead.

"Ha--Hari!" She shuttered when he cupped the back of her neck with one large hand, brushing his thumb along her cheek.

"Wh-what are you doing?" Her voice came out as a whisper when she felt his arms embracing her waist.

"Happy three-month anniversary Viha!" Without warning, he leaned forward and kissed her on her cheeks, causing her to still.

"Breath, cutie!" She blinked, shocked when he again leaned down and kissed her other cheeks.

"Won't you wish me?" He leaned back and grinned as he noted the rising color in her cheeks.

"Happy three-month anniversary!" Vihana whispered, hiding her face on his chest as his chest rumbled with a chuckle.

She breathed in his familiar scent and closed her eyes, aware he is laughing at her shyness.

.

The next day, morning 4.30 Am.

"What's taking them so long?" Vihaan whined impatiently and paced across the room while the boys sat on the couch silently.

They are already late for the wedding, and the girls are still getting ready!

"Sit down, Vihaan! There is still some time left for the wedding to start." Obeying his brother's words, he sat down with a huff.

"So, are you ready for your college life?" Hari question, changing the topic while Vikram looked up from the mobile interested.

"Yes! of course, who wouldn't be excited for their college life?" He rolled his eyes as they snickered.

"You are in delusion brother!" Vikram laughed, patting his shoulder.

.

.

Meanwhile, in the girls' room.

Vihana winched as Dhanya shouted when she opened the particular lipstick shade that dhanya recommended.

The girls laughed as Dhanya's mother shouted in the background while she rolled her eyes, shutting her bedroom door.

Dhanya face timed them in the early morning itself, declaring she would help them choose the correct makeup for the wedding.

And that's the reason for all the delay.

"Oh shut up! now tell me what that crazy post about?"

"Stop there! No one is calling you. If you didn't tell the truth, I'll complain to your HOD that I was the one who did all your assignment last semester!"

"What post?" Vihana perked up, sensing some good gossip.

"Wait-what? You didn't see that?" Harshitha wondered, showing the Instagram post that dhanya made.

"No!"

"Vihana, go bring Vikram and Hari's anna's phone! Someone being sneaky here." Harshitha smirked, observing Dhanya's face.

From her expression, it looks like she didn't enjoy where it was going at all!

Dhanya pleaded when vihana opened the door to get out.

She whispered, avoiding her best friend's eye contact guilty.

"Continue!" Harshitha ordered.

She blushed and continued.

Vihana and harshitha gasped as Dhanya kept on confessing all the crazy work she did.
