Writer's Pov:
"Patti, we will come down soon, don't worry," Harshitha assured, climbing up the stair with a bunch of pillows and blankets to the terrace.
"Yes, Patti, nobody will kidnap us. You go and sleep, or else you will get even more wrinkles if you stay up late." Vihana pinched her grandma's cheeks playfully and followed Harshitha with a bowl of chips while Lakshmi glared at her granddaughters angrily.
"Radha, Sakthi, come here and see what your daughters are doing." Lakshmi fretted, entering the living room in search of them.
"Leave them maa. If something is wrong, the boys are there on the first floor. They will keep an eye on them." Radha convinced her mother-in-law, combing her hand through Vikram's hair, who sat by her feet for head massage.
"Do they have to go to the terrace for putting Mehandi? Don't they have this much space in this home? Can't they just obey me for once?" Lakshmi grunted, sitting down beside her husband.
She doesn't know what to do with the girls. Even the boys listen to her words and obey her, but the girls, waking up in the afternoon, not having their meals on time, going out after ten at night.
"Well, they are your granddaughters. They will be like you only." Thatha countered, adjusting his reading glasses.
Everyone burst out laughing but went silent once the old lady glared at them. She glared at her husband and returned to her room with a huff.
"Ingaiye ipdi irundhanga na, kalyanam panni pora veetla epdi irupangalo?." Lakshmi sighed, shaking her head sadly.
(If they are like this here, how are they going to be in their law's home)

"So, who wants to get it first," Dhanya asked, getting comfortable on the makeshift bed on the floor with a henna cone in her hand.
After dinner, Dhanya suggested she would put the Mehandi for Harshitha as compensation for making her almost get married.
Everything went well until Vihana suggested they sleep on the terrace that night. Hearing her, their grandma went berserk and lectured them for nearly 1 hour about how one should not sleep on the terrace at night and how the evil spirits roam in the night.
Then after an hour of argument, they finally concluded that the girls could be on the terrace only till they put the Mehandi and should come down as soon as they finish it.
"Put on Viha's hands first. I'm so tired. I'm going to rest." Harshitha yawned, lying down tiredly.

"If you are tired from a pre-wedding shoot itself, then how are you going to be on your wedding day. Do you know you will have your wedding night on that day? Are you going to sleep on your wedding night too? I feel sad for Vikram anna. What is he going to do with you?" Dhanya chirped, feigning innocence, while Harshitha looked at her speechless.
She highfied with Vihana as they giggled, looking at Harshitha's shocked face.
"Dhanya! Don't you have any filters? We are at my home, it's not our college, And It's not a pre-wedding shoot." Harshitha exclaimed, looking at her friend wide-eyed as she asked herself why is she even friend with her in the first place.
Dhanya may look like a calm and sweet girl at first, but once you get close to her, you will even question your sanity. She is that crazy, adventurous, and fearless. She may loose talk and get you in trouble, but she is loyal and will stand by you in your worse and best.
"Whatever lets you sleep at night," Dhanya smirked and started concentrating on Vihana's Mehandi while Harshitha glared at her with a pout.
"Harshi! You should have taken costume designing instead of computer science as Dhanya. Free makeup, Free designer clothes, and free stitching. Ahh, how wonderful it would have been. I don't have to pay for anything." Vihana exclaimed regretfully, staring at Harshitha as if she had done a sin.
Harshitha rolled her eyes in reply and covered her face with the blanket completely.
"Well, you have a chance Viha, you can take that course and design for yourself," Dhanya replied with a smile.
"Nah, I'm not that talented, and it is not the same as getting something for free," Vihana mumbled, looking at her hands as Dhanya skillfully filled her hands with beautiful designs. Her hands moved smoothly in a flow without any shake.
"Oh wait! don't write my name." Vihana stopped, holding Dhanya's wrist correctly when she was going to write her name, to which Dhanya looked at her with her brows raised in question.
"Ahem. Dhanya, you don't know this information, right?" Vihana has someone special to her now." Harshitha spoke, grinning while Vihana blushed shyly.
"Woah, our Viha is committed? Tell me who is that lucky guy." Dhanya squealed excitedly, tossing the Mehandi cone aside, and sat up straight, ready for gossip with a wide grin.
"You would not have imagined Dhanu! I was shocked at first, you know." Harshitha exclaimed, smirking teasingly, as Vihana shied away, looking down.

"Tell me!" Dhanya ordered her best friend, her eyes twinkling in delight and her hands shaking Harshitha's arms excitedly.
"Hari anna."
They both looked at Dhanya's face expectingly for a reaction but, dhanya looked at them with a black face. All of a sudden Dhanya exclaimed,
"Eww, That unromantic fellow ah?" Dhanya scrunched her face in distaste while vihana face smile disappeared hearing her words.
"What the hell Dhanya?" Vihana shouted furiously, her eyes throwing daggers at Dhanya.
Dhanya shivered as goosebumps erupted on her skin by Vihana glare while Harshitha looked at her best friend with a scowl.
"Wai... wait! I will explain. Please drop that scary face, both of you." She stammered, taking a step back cautiously as the two cousins glared at her.
"You guys know that I was addicted to Wattpad in my school days." Dhanya spoke, her eyes looking at the girls alertly.
"That didn't explain for what you spoke." Harshitha taunted; her expression softened as Dhanya looked at her pitifully.
"You know, there are thousands of stories about a girl loving her best friend's brother and vice versa, eh Viha wait, here out," Dhanya confessed, observing their reaction but stopped once she saw vihana's getting up teary-eyed.
"I read that if your best friend's brother loves you. When you fall from stairs or cycle, He will pick you up like a prince charming and confess his love to you. So, one day I tested it out with Hari, I was really expecting him to at least pick up me, you know, but that jerk laughed at my face and walked away with his friends, Heartless jerk." Dhanya scoffed, remembering that unlucky day while Harshitha burst out laughing, imagining how crazy she would have looked in her brother's eyes.
"So, do you still like him?" Vihana inquired, still teary-eyed, but one could see the small smile on her lips. Seeing her face, Dhanya rushed forward and hugged her gently.
"That was even before I came to age! I don't even know the real meaning of love at that time. All I thought was every brother loves their sister's bestie, and to answer your question, NO I didn't love Hari. You can rest assured Viha." Dhanya patted her back gently and moved back, wiping her tears.
"And I won't love some as unromantic as him." Dhanya teased, running away as Vihana chased her with a smile.

"Hari! Jump down, jump down. No, don't go it there! Ugh, we missed the chance now." Vikram exclaimed, tossing aside the video game console, and ran his hand through his hair, frustrated. They were playing this game to be awake till the girls come down. But both Hari and Vihaan looked as if they would pass out anytime.
"We can play tomorrow. I'm going to sleep." Vihaan tossed the console on the table and laid down on his bed. Within a few minutes, Vihaan's soft snores echoed in the silent room as he slept face down.
"Vikram, Sorry man, we can play on Sunday. Can you please go and check if the girls have come down? My eyes are burning. I'm going to sleep." Hari asked him, stretching his body tiredly, they have to get ready in the early morning for Prathyuksha's marriage.
"Hmm, you sleep. I'm not sleepy anyway. I will go to bed once they come down." Vikram switched off the tv and closed the door silently on his way to the terrace.
Vikram walked in to see Dhanya putting Mehandi on his sweetheart's palm as they both teased her about today's bridal shoot. She looked like an angel under the moonlight. Her face void of any makeup, and her hair on a low ponytail with some of her tresses kissing her cheeks gently. He felt jealous!
"Oh, the groom has come!" Vihana teased him as soon as she saw him. Dhanya waved at him, he nodded in greeting and sat beside his darling, who looked down at the blanket shyly.
After they came from the shoot, the girls went to sleep and came down for dinner only, so no one saw the photos.
Once everyone ate their dinner, their grandfather requested Dhanya to show the photos of today's shoot.
Everyone was gushing over the pair as Radha slyly teased her son and niece. Dhanya showed every photos except the temple photos. She knew if she shows them that, the whole family will go crazy.
There is nothing wrong with showing those photos to them, but she edited the photos when she woke up from her evening nap. Now, the photos looked like real wedding photos after she added the thali and kumkum on those photos. so, it lay hidden in her laptop's secret files, which had all of Harshi-Vikram's Love journey, from their 1st photos as a couple to the date's photos and videos.
