Finally a BTS merch. I'm so happy that I got happy tears after I entered the party.
Harshitha's Pov:
"Are we going out after dinner?" I asked Vikram, changing the topic from Arjun.
"Yeah, give me your gold chain."
"Huh?" I looked at him confused.
"I have a plan." He grinned.
I removed my gold chain and gave it to him, he put it in his pocket and said." Keep your phone with you and be in the living room itself."
Before I could speak, I heard Vihaan calling me from the distance.
"Harshi! Harshi!"
"You go inside, I'll come in a minute." Vikram leaned down and kissed my temple.
"Okay, come soon." I squeezed his hands and left from there.

"Vihaan I'm here."
"Harshi where were you? I was searching for you everywhere. I went to your room but, only Viha was sleeping there, and why are you coming from the backyard?" Vihaan's questioned me as soon as I neared him.
"Vihaan slow down! I heard some sound, so I went to see what it is." I answered him, patting his arms to slow down.
"Okay come inside, It's so cold out here." He exclaimed, rubbing his palms.
"Vihaan, it's not even winter and you are saying it's cold," I exclaimed, shaking my head at his words.
"I think you and Vikram anna would have been born as penguins in your previous birth, you both don't even feel cold."
"Whatever you say." I shrugged, removing my slipper by the door.
I entered the kitchen to see mom and aunt chopping vegetables.
"Hello, thaikulamehs." I exclaimed loudly, hoping on the countertop near them. (motherhoods)
"Vaa marumagaleh." Athai welcomed me, making me blush. (Come, daughter-in-law)
"Harshi, where is Viha?" Amma asked, washing the carrots in a bowl.
"She is sleeping ma," I answered, taking the carrots from her hands and started chopping them into cubes.
"She seemed so tired today Anni." Amma wondered, looking at athai.
"Her period is due in two days Sakthi, added to that our car broke down halfway so, we have to take the bus and walk home from the bus stand," Athai explained, keeping the pan on the stove.

Amma took out the ingredients as athai started the flame and added Rava into the pan.
"She started getting cramps while walking. Fortunately, Vikram was there to carry her." Athai exclaimed, keeping another pan on the stove and pouring oil into it.
I looked down to hide my smile as amma started praising Vikram. I think my mom loves Vikram more than she loves us. Vikram is her all-time favorite child as he's very responsible and respects everyone, and added to that, the first word the baby Vikram said was 'Athai'.
I moved out of the kitchen to the hall as they started talking about some Tamil serials. I don't know what's so interesting in the serial, the same old mamiyar marumaga (mother-in-law and daughter-in-law) fight, or there will always a person trying to separate the hero heroine. I don't understand why the directors' direct the same plot again and again.
I sat down next to Hari anna on the sofa and leaned my head against his shoulder.
"What happened?" Hari anna asked me as he placed a pillow behind me for me to lean on.
"Nothing, I'm just tired," I answered, leaning on the pillow and spreading my legs at the tea table before me.
"Take a nap. I will wake you up after the dinner's ready."
"Hmm." I hummed, closing my eyes and getting more comfortable on the sofa. Hari anna decreased the tv volume, and soon I drifted off to my dreamland.

I felt the sofa dip on my side as someone sat. I opened my eye to see Vikram sitting beside me, watching tv.
"Sorry, Did I wake you up?" Vikram asked softly, looking almost guilty.
"No, what's the time?" I stretched my arms and looked around to see no one here except us.
"It's 8, and how are you feeling?" He asked, touching my forehead. He increased the volume so no one would hear us.
"I'm fine Vi, just tired." I smiled, holding his hands.
"Then can we go tomorrow? after you are well-rested." He asked, squeezing my hands softly.
"No need of that, and I'm good. I'm just tired coz we woke up at 4 in the morning to reach here early." I answered, standing up from the sofa.
"Are you sure?" He stood up, cracking his neck. I flinched at the popping sound as he stretched his arms up.

'Does he not feel pain' I wondered.
"I'm 100% sure Vikram," I assured, smiling at his thoughtfulness.

Vihana and I entered the dining room, I took the empty seat opposite Vikram.
Vihaan pulled his chair out, winching as the chair made a screeching sound
"Vihaan, be gentle with the chair, you are going to break it this time too." Athai lectured, sitting down next to grandma.
"Sorry, ma!" Vihaan murmured, lowering his head.
Vihana snickered looking at Vihaan. He scowled, showing his tongue at Vihana.
Pleasant conversation filled as everyone served themself and started eating. It's so good to be back in our native place, I looked around to see everyone laughing at something Hari anna said.
Suddenly Vihana coughed after seeing her mobile. I looked at her to see her speaking with Vikram showing some actions. I think Vikram would have messaged her his plan.
"Harshi, where is your gold chain?" Vihana shrieked, pointing at my neck,
"V-"
Vihana cut off my reply, winking at me to play along.
"Omg." I gasped, touching my neck.
"Don't panic. Did you remove it Harshi?" Siva Kumar mama asked me.
"Illa mama, I think I would have dropped it inside the house." I lied, standing up from my seat.
"Then, we will search for it," Appa stated, patting my head.
Everyone split, searching for my 'so-called lost chain'.

After searching nearly for half an hour, No one found my 'lost chain'.
"What to do?" Athai sighed, looking at us.
"How can you be this careless Harshitha?" Amma scolded, glaring at me.
"I'm sure I had my chain when we were in the temple." I declared meekly, blinking back my fake tears.
"Sakthi, don't scold her. We will send Harshi with Hari or Vikram to look for it in the temple." Appa announced.
"Okay, I will go with Harshi." Hari anna stated, flicking his hair off his forehead.
We stood out waiting for Hari anna, who went in for taking his phone and wallet.
Suddenly we heard a thud followed by someone's groan.
"Vihana! are you alright?" We went in to see Vihana and my brother on the floor.
"No." Vihana moaned, holding her ankle.
Hari anna asked her if she can stand, she just shook her head no. He picked her up and gently put her down on the sofa.
"Vihaan, can you bring water for them?" Grandma asked.
Vihaan brought a water bottle and gave them. After drinking the water, my brother stood up but, grandpa stopped him. There is a myth that If you slipped or happened to dash against anything just before stepping out of your home, it might be bad luck so, you should not go out, or you should drink water and wait at least 10mins before going.
"Hari, you be here, Vikram, can you go with Harshi?"
"Sure thatha." Vikram nodded and looked at me to follow him.
We both put on our footwear and walked towards the car.
Vikram opened the door for me after I sat inside, he closed the door and got into the driver's seat.
We looked at each other and busted out laughing.
"Shush..Even though I love to hear your laughter all day, we are already late and we have only an hour to be out." He shushed, putting the seat belt on me.
"Okay." I took deep breaths to calm down.
I stared at him in awe as he reversed the car smoothly with his right hand on the steering and left hand on the gear.
"How do you do that?" I breathed, looking at him unblinking.
"Do what?" He raised his eyebrow, taking a right turn.
"That reverse with a single hand on the steering," I answered, turning on my seat to look at him.
"Years of practice baby." He beamed, holding my right hand with his left.
"And how do you do that." He asked, looking at me seriously.
"What did I do?" I questioned, looking at him confusingly.
"Ah.... that expression..how are getting cuter every time I see you?" He replied, grinning broadly.
"Vikram! don't tease." I whined, hiding my face in his shoulder.
He just chuckled and pecked my head.
