《Prison Mate》•17- Silent•

I blinked, some light blinding me for a moment. My eyes soon focus and I see a dirty white ceiling, not the one from me and Darian's cabin. I glance around the room- no, apartment. Ace's apartment.
I let out a loud scream. How the fuck did I get here? I was just with Darian!
"Will you shut up, I've got neighbors you know," I turn to look at the door and I see a shirtless Ace. I shake my head no, letting out another scream. I can hear a groan before a hand is slapped over my mouth, muffling my screams. "Shut the hell up or you know what happens," he growls. I nod, shutting up, forgetting he was willing to kill people if I didn't listen. Obey would be a better word actually.
He takes his hand off my mouth and sits down at the end of the bed. "Now, rules," he says, staring directly at me. I feel uncomfortable and look away, nodding. I've just got to deal with it for now, hopefully not for long.
"Rule one, don't disobey me.
Rule two, don't leave this apartment without me. I'm not the only killer in town.
Rule three, never answer the door.
Any questions my little mate?" he asks.
I think for a a moment before stuttering out a question, "H-How did I-I get here?" my voice shook.
I glance up to see Ace smirking. "You passed out from the pain, I mentioned a week earlier. You're little boyfriend, Darian, didn't know what to do, so he brought you to me. Only mates can heal each other's pain of course. Too bad he didn't know.." Ace trails off.
My eyes go wide, Darian did this? He should've just left me to die in pain. It's better than being a second here with Ace. "Wait- didn't know what?" I ask. Something was suspicious about all of this, the pain.

He chuckles before answering, "That pain actually came from a shot I gave you when we met last week." Wait, so what he said to me was a bluff then. He lied to me. My wolf whimpered, saddened our own mate would do that to us.
I don't reply as I just stare at my feet. I feel a cold hand being placed on my left foot. "Rule four, don't go silent," he says, flicking my foot.
I wince, shaking my head. I didn't want to speak to him, my wolf didn't even want to right now and most of the time she was begging me to.
Ace growls, standing up, he sits right next to me. I try and scoot away, but he holds my arm, tightly. "If you don't want to, I'll just make you scream," he smirks. He suddenly pins me down and I started freaking out, my heart beating like crazy.
I shut my eyes tightly, not wanting to see anything happen. I feel Ace move my hair, tying it up in a bun. I was confused till I felt him kiss my neck. My eyes go wide and I try and move away, but he growls in a dark tone. I flinch, realizing it wasn't Ace, it was his wolf.
"I'll talk, I'll talk!" I shout, hoping Ave would get back in control. It sounds weird, but nothing is scarier than a person's wolf. They tend to be, more savage...
Ace leans down and whispers in my ear, "Too late darling, once I find that sweet spot of yours, you're getting marked," he smirks and goes back to nibbling my neck. Ace always bit my neck, hard. His wolf was soft, even leaving hickies... trying to please my wolf into submission. She whimpered, but wasn't going for it.

He started getting annoyed with me when I refused to moan, or even flinch. Deja vu right now. He couldn't force me to either, well, from what I know.
"God damnit lady! Where the hell is your soft spot?" he growls, before taking one last bite. My eyes go wide as I felt my body tingle. I look at Ace and noticed that he notice. He immediately smirks and holds me down harder. I try and struggle, but obviously I wasn't going to win.
His canines pop out and he traces them over my soft spot. My wolf purrs, but me, I'm scared as hell. It was a moment before he sunk his canines into my neck, making me scream. He held them there, even moving his head a bit so more blood came out. I whimpered in pain.
Finally, he pulled his canines out and licked up all the blood my neck. I lied there froze, feeling empty. Ace doesn't get off me, I don't bother to see what he was doing.
"Okay, now you mark me," he says. Like I would ever do that, on my own will. As long as only one of us is marked, it can be removed by somebody else. Regardless, you lose a part of your wolf each time you do that. Some people have even lost their whole wolf doing so.
I shake my head no, refusing to listen to him. I could practically feel him frown. "If you really don't want to... then guess what's going to happen to your little boyfriend, Darian," he snickers, kissing my ear.
I look up at him, wondering if I should. Darian was the one who brought me here, but that's no excuse for him to die. He still has a mate out there, somewhere. And he's been there for me in the hardest times of my life. He didn't want me to die, he didn't know it wasn't real.
"Okay," I say, barely above a whisper. My voice felt lost. He smirks and flips us over so I'm on top.
I crawled up on him and began nibbling at the spot that was previous marked. I notice Ace biting his lip and I bite down, marking him once again.
"Good girl," he says, patting my head. I pull away and run to the bathroom, feeling tears brim on my eyes. I notice I couldn't lock it and I groaned, sliding down the closed door.
I can't believe I just marked the mate I hated.

The Ascendant: Endless Reincarnation
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid. Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting. “What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that. Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too. Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death. But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me. I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars! All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary. With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on. It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush? I have all the time in the world now. (Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job.
