After the morning's pleasure sessions, Alex was more sure than ever that the pair were physically transformed since mating. Putting on her trusted uniform of black shorts and a tank top only further confirmed what she knew. They were tighter on her frame, her top rising higher on her stomach than before and her breasts threatening to spill out with her ass straining against the material of her shorts. Aidan's jaw dropped when he walked in on her examining herself in front of the mirror and they spent a moment tussling as he tried to get her naked again.
She laughed as she spurned his advances, retreating into the walk in wardrobe to source something less provocative to wear to training. She grabbed a pair of leggings with a little more give in them and one of Aidan's t-shirts. She styled it up a little to her own taste, pulling the excess material to her back and fastening it with a knot, creating a cropped top. No need to hide this incredible body completely, she thought. She wasn't concerned in any way. She felt better than she ever had in her life. She would call Cain later to see if he had any insight but before that, she was determined and excited to get back to training and get an update from Laura. And then possibly go shopping for some new clothes.
Aidan smiled smugly at his mate donning his shirt.'I liked what you were wearing before you know,' he wrapped her into his arms as he breathed her in and kissed her neck. 'As long as you weren't planning on leaving the house in it.' He chuckled.Alex smiled. This was the first time she agreed with a man saying she should re-think her outfit choice.'Yes well I would like everyone to concentrate on their training today and not on trying to guess whether my ass or breasts are about to explode through my clothes.''But you'll ring your family later to see if they know anything about this?' Aidan asked as he trailed kisses over her face. 'I can ask the hospital staff here too.''Hmm,' Alex mumbled, enjoying the sweetness of the moment. She pushed him away before her core fired up.'Let's get going. Plenty of time for this later,' she smacked Aidan's butt as she walked towards the doorway.Aidan adjusted his shorts and then followed her outside._______Despite the hour still being early, warrior training was already well underway when they arrived. Alex noted the Black Mountain methods were in full use and there was an area on the floor towards the centre where the females were training with Laura.Kit greeted them immediately, calling Nathan over to give an update on how things were going. Alex was impressed that Kit stood back to let Nathan do this. Nathan had been leading the training since Kit's suspension from duties and by the sounds of it, he had been doing a fantastic job. Kit was full of praise for Nathan and the team and it sounded, Alex was surprised and happy to hear, extremely genuine. Aidan's eyes were wide as he too noticed the changes in his Gamma. Aidan thanked them for their efforts, shaking both of their hands in turn. Before turning to go back to work, Nathan looked at them slightly confused, as though he wanted to say something but was hesitant.'Are you ok Nathan?' Alex asked stepping forward and putting a hand on his shoulder.Nathan inhaled deeply and his eyes shot to Alex's. He took a knee before her and uttered 'Lycan'.Alex and Aidan exchanged a bewildered look. Kit took a step forward towards Alex and then instantly fell to his knee before her. The closest warriors had stalled in what they were practicing to look over at the scene. Each seemed to inhale simultaneously and then copied Kit and Nathan, bowing their heads on bended knee. More and more of those on the floor were getting distracted now and the arena started buzzing with chatter.'What's happening over here?' Marcus' jovial voice broke through over the whispers in the crowd as he strode over towards Alex and Aidan. As he came within a few steps of Aidan, he stopped suddenly as though he had hit a wall. He stared aghast from Aidan to Alex before likewise imitating the crowd before them.'Stand up Marcus,' Aidan said, somewhere between annoyed and confused. 'Explain this.' Aidan motioned his hand over everyone who was kneeling before them.Marcus looked disorientated for a moment, his mouth opening and closing without making any sound. He shook his head firmly to gather himself.'Your scent Aidan. It's changed.' He looked him up and down, clearly noticing the physical changes on his friend, before continuing. 'You smell like a Lycan.'____________'Have you ever heard of anything like this before?' Alex was on the phone to Cain and her father, filling them in on what had happened to her and Aidan. She was sitting in the chair in Aidan's office with Marcus and Aidan seated at the enormous boardroom table to her right. Both men were on their own phones, making calls to healers and members of the council who may understand what was going on.'We know that if a Lycan's mate is a wolf or human, they transform into a Lycan when they get marked,' Cain was trying to make sense of the information by running through what they did know first. 'But I haven't heard of two wolves transforming into Lycans after they mate.''But both Aidan and Alex are Alpha's,' Hank interjected. 'Maybe there's something there that creates a Lycan gene or something.''Maybe', Cain sounded unconvinced. 'Aidan's on the phone with the Council now, is that what you said?''Yes,' Alex answered. 'He doesn't seem to have been given a definitive answer yet either by the looks of things.' Alex looked quizzically over at Aidan. He shrugged his shoulders and shook his head as he spoke to whomever was on his phone.'Well however this happened,' Hank was excited,' this is amazing isn't it?'Alex thought for a moment. It certainly was amazing. Lycans were an escalated version of werewolves, better in every way; strength, speed, ferociousness, with better senses and reactions. It was next to impossible for anything to hurt or kill a Lycan. They were revered and feared. The Lycan King and Queen were the head of all packs globally, with the Council for Werewolves reporting into the palace for everything from law making to settling matters between packs to international matters involving humans and other beings.Alex spent a little longer on the phone to Cain and her father, exchanging updates on everything from the Dax task force and her beautiful nieces despite having only seen each other a day previously. Aidan had already finished his call by the time she hung up and he was staring at her with a hunger in his eyes.'I just want to bend you over that desk and fuck your brains out,' Alex heard the words in her head but Aidan's mouth hadn't moved.'You just mind linked me!' she exclaimed back to him. 'How did this happen?''I drew up the paperwork when you were unconscious,' Aidan shared, 'but I thought we'd do the ceremony today or tomorrow. The Lycan transformation must have completed the link for us.'Having had the ability to mind-link for her entire life, she never knew how important it was to be able to talk to her pack in this way until Aidan had cut her off from it. Now she was ecstatic to have the ability back.'What are you two doing?' Marcus had finished his call and was looking between the pair.'I'm officially part of the gang Marcus,' Alex linked him.Marcus' face lit up. 'Well about fucking time.' He linked to both Alex and Aidan and they all laughed. 'I'll finally be able to complain to you in private about this prick.' Marcus pointed his thumb at Aidan, winking mischievously.'You know what would make this day perfect?' Alex linked. Both Aidan and Marcus raised their eyebrows.'Getting back to training,' Alex answered aloud, much to Aidan's disappointment. The three jostled merrily as they set off back towards the arena.

In The Maw Of The Gods
Synopsis Lilly Harper was always the type to keep to herself. She struggled to make friendships and so, she simply opted not to. That was why moving to the coastal town of Wilham didn’t bother her. She wasn’t leaving anybody behind and she certainly didn’t expect to be making any friends any time soon. However, when she starts hearing about the school’s “Magic Club”—a group of weirdos who claim that magic is real, she can’t deny that she’s slightly intrigued. Then without warning, she suddenly finds herself wrapped up with them. And what if they aren’t crazy? What if magic is actually real? And what if it’s because of that magic that something more powerful than they could ever conceive of is drawn to Wilham? I plan to follow a release schedule of Tuesday/Friday. Average chapter length will be 4,000 to 6,000 words and I will be using multiple POV's quite often. Also to note, while I am flagging the story with content warnings, I am only doing so because there are specific moments where it will be needed. Overall, the story will be relatively tame and I plan to put extra warnings at the beginning of chapters that it applies to. Thank you to everybody who decides to give my story a chance and I hope you enjoy it!
