Alex's Home^^

After we left the Red Moon pack we've spent the last 2 months traveling around to all the other packs around the world, implementing my new pack network and setting up new guidelines so that no one would slip through the cracks again.

In total Xavier and I ruled over 20 packs. 9 of those were in North America. Xavier gave me the choice weather to visit home first or last. I chose last. If my Mother saw me as a monster and didn't want anything to do with me, I don't think I could smile and pretend to be fine.

As the SUV got closer to the last pack we were visiting, the one near my home, I started to get nervous. I would probably know some of these wolves as it was only a 25 minute drive from my home.

As we pulled up I recognized the place. This is the place that is rumored to be haunted around town. I wasn't aware that anyone actually lived here. One Halloween I tried to get Mikey to come with me here so we could explore, looking back now I'm thankful he talked me out of it as I'm sure we would have been eaten.

As we Xavier stepped out of the SUV, I slowly followed.

"Where is your Alpha?" Xavier asked a well dresses man that had the aura of a Beta.

"I'm so sorry your grace, your highness, he is in his office dealing with a personal matter." He said slightly fearful.

"Well maybe we can help, could you show us the way?" I asked. I knew it had to be something important for an Alpha not to greet us.

As we walked down the hallway following the Beta we heard shouting.

"I don't care! She's been missing for almost 7 months! She's my best friend dad, I HAVE TO FIND HER!" some one familiar shouted

"I CARE ABOUT HER TOO, SHE'S THE CLOSET THING I'VE GOT TO A DAUGHTER, BUT YOU WILL NOT BOTHER THE KING AND HIS NEW QUEEN ABOUT THIS MATTER!" A deep voice shouted back.

"I already told you I'm doing everything I can to find the people who took her! I've got trackers still out looking for her. I promise you if she's out there we will find her little brother, have faith." Another voice said.

I smiled, knew who those voices were. I just knew. I pushed past the Beta and threw the door open.

Standing in front of me was the first man in my life to show me what a father should be. Across from him was my best friend and next to him was his older brother, Lucas.

"MIKEY!" I screamed launching myself to him like a monkey.

"Alex." He said stunned, but catching me in time before we both fell.

"Alex are you ok? Where did you come from, who took you? I swear I'll kick their ass." Mikey said in a rush, checking me for injuries and giving me a hug.

I was about to respond when we were interrupted by a growl. I turned my head and looked at Xavier.

"Calm down he's my best friend." I said with a are you serious right now look.

"Don't care I don't like seeing someone with their paws all over you." He said is voice tight and his eyes changing colors.

He's gay remember, he would be much more interested in you than me. I said through the mind-link

"Fine." He huffed out.

I hugged Mikey for a minute longer then went to hug his dad, Jack who's always treated me like a daughter.

"We've been looking for you kiddo." He said with a tear in his eye.

"I know I'm sorry." I said

"It wasn't her fault, but mine." Xavier said coming fully into the room.

Mikey, Lucas and Jack all went wide eyed.

"My King..Your Grace..Your Highness." They all 3 said at once bowing.

"May I present to you your Queen, Alex. Although it seems you all already know her." Xavier said with a smirk.

They all looked at me in shock and started to bow.

"If even one of you 3 bows at me, I'll neuter you." I growled not likening the thought of people who who have been my family all of my life bowing down to me.

Jack smiled. "That's my girl." He said

"I missed you guys." I said "And guess what?!"

I can bug you this way now..muahahaha.. I said through the mind-link.

"Oh great, not only do I have you in my ear, now I'll have you in my head." Said Mikey rolling his eyes.

David and Jimmy came into the room, immediately Mikey's head snapped up. "Mate." He said looking towards them.

"Mate." Jimmy answered.

"Finally." Jack mumbled.

"Does this mean Mikey becomes a part of the Royal Pack?" I whispered to Jack

"Yup." He said

"I get to take you home with me!" I screeched, jumping up and down like a 2yr old while Jack and Lucas laughed.

Just then Cammie, Lucas and Mikey's Mom came in.

"Alex?" She asked rushing towards me and engulfing me in a hug. "Oh my, I have been so worried about you. I'm so thankful your ok." She said crying.

"Please don't cry, you'll make me cry." I said my eyes watering.

"How's Momma?" I asked quietly.

"She's been strong for those grandbabies of her's, but not knowing where you were or if you were safe. She's pretty rough honey." Cammie said.

"Seems our little Alex here is our new Queen." Jack said beaming with pride.

"Oh, what's your wolf look like." She asked

"She's beautiful." Xavier said from behind her.

"Oh dear, your majesty I'm so sorry, my apologies I should have addressed you first, all I saw was Alex." She said bowing to him

"It's fine really, I understand." Xavier said with a smile.

"We're gonna go see her while we're here. Will you look after her when we have to go back?" I asked Jack and Cammie

"Of course sweetheart." Cammie said hugging me again.

I looked around and Mikey and Jimmy we're gone. I snickered. "Guess I'll catch up with Mike later." I laughed.

After going over the new network plan and policy changes with Jack, Cammie and Lucas, as he was the next in line to be Alpha, it was time to go see Momma.

Instead of driving I wanted to run. Once Xavier and I shifted and he put his cloths in his mouth we took off for home.

I wanted to cry when my childhood home came into view. I missed this place.

I shifted back and unlocked the door using the hide-a-key. Mom wasn't home yet. So I took Xavier up to my bedroom.

"Well this explains a few things." He laughed looking around

"I'll have you know I built that bed my self." I said looking around at the boxes of stuff from my dorm room in the corner, unpacked. I hated the thought of Mom having to pack up my things after I was taken.

I packed up a box of things I wanted to take back to Scotland with me. Pictures mainly as well as my baby book and a few of my boots, that I loved.

I heard Mom's car coming up the drive way and I got nervous. What if she doesn't want anything to do with me once she finds out what I am now.

Now I know why Xavier waited so long to tell me what he was.

"Wait here ok, I need to talk to her alone first." I told him

He nodded and plopped down on my bed as I heard the front door open.

I silently walked down the stairs and watched as she put her purse down on the counter.

"Momma." I said as I reached the bottom step.

"A-alex." She said rushing towards me and pulling me to her.

"Oh my baby." She said crying.

"Are you ok, how did you get away from the men who took you. Are you injured?" She rushed out

"I'm ok, Mom, better than ok actually." I said

Here goes nothing. Like a band-aid just rip it off, I told myself.

"Mom, I have something to show you. Please remember it's me, and I won't hurt you, ok?" I asked

"o-Ok." She said confused.

I stepped further into the living room and shifted.

"Alex?" Mom said.

I shifted back.

"It's me. I was taken by a werewolf. They are good people Momma. They truly are. I was his mate. His soulmate. See werewolves only have one soul mate, and I was his. He took me because they can't live apart. They just want to live their lives in peace, their not evil or anything like that." I explained quickly holding my breath.

"Does this mean you can come home now?" She asked sitting down on the couch.

"No, I have to stay with him, he's sorta the king." I said plopping down next to her and putting my head on her shoulder.

"But, we can come visit, and you can come visit us anytime you want, you can use his jet." I said grinning up at her.

"Your truly ok. They didn't hurt you." She asked again.

"I'm honestly ok, Mom." I said

"You can't tell anyone though. Not my sisters or my brother."

"I won't honey, besides they'd probably lock me up if I did." She said laughing.

"Do you want to meet him?" I asked

"He's here?" She asked

I nodded my head.

"I think.. that'll be ok." She replied

Knowing Xavier could already hear us, I heard him coming down the stairs.

"It's nice to meet you." Xavier said coming in the living room

"Xavier this is my Momma, Marie. Mom this is Xavier. My mate, and sorta my husband now. We apparently got married when I was crowned Queen." I said as fast as I could sheepishly.

Mom stood up and picked up a magazine off the coffee table, rolled it up and smacked him with it all over after each word. "You could have brought her back sooner you know. A phone call, a letter, anything. And if you hurt my little girl, wolf or not I won't hesitate to skin you alive boy." Mom said in her Mom voice I knew all too well.

Xavier looked like a kid who got caught sneaking a cookie before dinner.

"I'm sorry." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Good." Mom said turning back to me to hug me again.

"Come on we'll make dinner and you can tell me about where you've been." She said

After she made my favorite, Lasagna. We ate and talked for hours. Then Xavier announced that he had transferred money into her bank account so that she could quit her dead-end job and take it easy. I think he was still feeling guilty about not thinking about how taking me would effect her.

Mom tried to make him take his money back, but he refused.

I told her that Jack and Cammie we're wolves too, but I explained that they didn't even know until today what had happened to me. Xavier also told her that if she had any problems to go to them and the pack would take care of it.

When we told her the palace was in Scotland she got excited. She's always wanted to see Scotland.

Just then we heard a car pulling up. I glanced outside and saw it was one of my sisters. Xavier and I hid in my bedroom. We heard the door open and my sister say she had picked up an extra shift at the hospital and needed Mom to babysit.

After my sister left we came back down stairs and when my 3 yr old nephew saw me he ran to me.

"Awlex" He said as I picked him up spinning him around and kissing his chubby cheeks.

"Coda Bear!" I said placing him on my hip.

We stayed a while longer until Coda fell asleep and David came to collect us.

As Xavier loaded up the things I wanted to take with me, I stood on the porch with Mom.

"We'll be back tomorrow. We're staying the week before we have to go back." I said hugging her again taking in her familiar scent.

"Be safe." Mom said as I got in the SUV next to Xavier.

"Thank you." I said to him.

"Anything for you my Queen." He said pulling me on his lap.

"You looked good with a kid on your hip." He said smiling at me.

"Good, because your gonna have to get use to it, and soon." I said looking up at him.

"Are you.." He trailed off

"I'm pregnant."
