Xavier's Office^^
It had been 4 days since I went fishing with Edmond. I memorized the way to and from Xavier's floor to the front door. I went over it in my head again and again so I wouldn't forget it and had even drew it out so I could find the most direct route. The only flaw in my plan was the elevator. You had to punch in a code to get it to move from the floor I was on. The stairs was behind a door that had alarm warnings if it was opened.
Xavier really doesn't say much. He just stares at me most of the time.
No one would answer me when I asked what Luna meant. They flat out ignored me on the matter when ever I brought it up.
Edmond has become my game partner. When he found out I loved playing any kind of games we started with chess and moved on from there. We even played monopoly once.
Last night I couldn't sleep and walked the halls and heard laughter. I walked into the kitchen and saw Edmond, Fergus & Josh playing cards. I talked them into letting me play. Acting like I didn't know anything about poker. As if; I played with my Grandma when she was still alive. That woman took her cards very seriously.
I managed to swindle them out of all their pretzels by the end of the night.
I also learned that Erica, the little girl I talked to in the garden was Josh's daughter. He thanked me for putting a stop to the bullying.
Jimmy and David were getting use to being a little lax around me about babysitting me. As they knew there was no where I could go without alerting everyone. They still walked by whatever room I was in every 10-15 mins a checked on me. Which was better than them just standing and staring at me.
I got dressed in blue jeans, my cowboy boots and a long sleeved shirt.
"I'm gonna go have a that tea party with Addison she's been buggin me for since she got her new set to replace the one she broke." I told Jimmy leaving Xavier's bedroom.

After walking into Addison's room Jimmy walked by about 5 mins later to check on me.
"Come have tea with us Jimmy!" Addison said
He looked truly frightened for the first time since I met him.
I laughed as he fumbled for a reply.
"Umm.. No I've uuh got--um..-- Paperwork to do. Yea paperwork. Sorry kiddo." He said quickly leaving.
20 mins later I couldn't help the sad smile on my face as I played with Addison. She kept calling me Aunt Alex and she made me miss my oldest Niece Danielle that was about her age. Once for her birthday the whole family got dressed up in suits and formal dresses for a massive tea and dinner party, as that's what she had wanted.
"Why are you sad Aunt Alex?" She asked me
"Oh nothing just missing someone." I told her honestly.
"You miss uncle Xavier don't you?" She asked.
I didn't want to lie but she was a kid and I couldn't bring her in to the complicated situation I was in. So I lied.
"Yea sure. Do you know where he is?" I asked honestly curious about where he went all day.
"He's in his office down stairs." She said "Why don't you go visit him if you miss him?" She asked
"I can't I'm not good with numbers, I forgot the code to the elevator." I said looking at my tea cup like it had all the answers.
Was I really pumping a 5 yr old for information right now? I looked up at her. Yes, Yes I am.
"I know it!" she said and hope swelled in my chest.
"I can take you to him." She said getting up.
"B-but you can't.... you need to stay here in case your.... Mom needs you." I said quickly.
"Oh ok." Said sitting back down to pour me more imaginary tea.
"So um.. what's the code?" I asked her.
"It's my birthday." She said giggling. "04-03-15" She said. "Mommy had Uncle Xavier change it last year when I was tall enough to reach the buttons so I could use it if there was an emergency." She said brushing her dolls hair.

"Thank you Addy." I said kissing her cheek and giving her a hug. "I'm gonna go visit Uncle Xavier." I said getting up and looking both ways out of her door before walking to the elevator and hitting the button while praying no one caught me.
The ding made me jump and when the doors opened I quickly punched in the numbers Addy gave me.
The elevator doors closed and I did a quick happy dance as the elevator started moving. I tried to press the 1 button, but it wouldn't light up. The elevator stopped on the 3rd floor.
"Well at least I'm closer to the ground." I mumbled stepping out and looking around. I saw people coming and going, no one was paying me any attention so far.
Act normal Alex I said to my self in my head. The stairs here had the same alarm warning on it as the other one did. Walking around hall after hall I was feeling hopeless and this place was bigger than I first thought. I couldn't find anymore stairs but I heard a ding.
There was another elevator.
I pressed the button and waited. When the doors opened and luck was on my side, it was empty, but it needed a freaking code.
I tried the one Addy gave me but it didn't work. It needed different code.
Signing I thought maybe I could get the code from someone and a plan formed in my head. I'd say that I was new and got lost and needed to find my way back down to the first floor. Hey it might work.
Only as soon as I needed someone everyone vanished.
I came to a huge doorway with 2 suits of armor on either side, the doors looked older than the others. I figured it was a good as any so I slowly pushed it open. 2 heads snapped up and looked right at me. Xavier and bagpipes.
Guess I found his office after all.
"How--What are you--" I cut Xavier off by slamming the door. I grabbed the axe the suit of armor had and jammed it between the handles and ran.
I guess getting away quietly was out the window and I ran as fast as I could to the emergency stair door and slammed it open. Immediately sirens blazed and I jumped from landing to landing thanking God for having to jump down from the barn rafters more than once while hanging tobacco growing up.
I finally made it out of the stair way as I heard animals roaring over the siren. Did they keep freaking tigers in this place.
People were running all over the place and I ran to the front door and skidded to a stop. I'd never make it to the forest in time and I was not going to die from exposure in a place I didn't even know and I had no clue which direction to go for civilization. I could be days away from a town. I quickly opened the door and hid behind it and the wall.
"Her scent leads to the front door." I heard Xavier say
My scent? What was he a freaking blood hound. The country song Ol' Red ran through my head.
I watched through the crack as him and Bagpipes ran out the door.
I came out and ran back towards the stairs, if I couldn't get away the least I could do was call home and hope the police could trace the call.
I ran all the way back to Xavier's office, the doors broken open.
I ran to his desk and picked up the phone and searched the drawers for anything that might come in handy, after 3 attempts and one rude operator later I finally heard the familiar voice I'd known my whole life.
"Hello?" she answered.
"Mommy" I simply said.
