The Duchess gave them some space while beaming triumphantly. Ara took out the gag from her mother's lips as she tucked her hair behind her ears. She then affectionately hugs her mother.

"Ara, my daughter, please don't pay attention to what the Duchess says. She is wicked and is only using you to harm Rachel. Your cousin Rachel did nothing wrong. She shouldn't be treated this way. I will be responsible for everything, so please let her go."

"Mother why are you taking Rachel's side? I'm your daughter. I also deserve her good fortune. In fact, I will take her light so everything will be mine. In the future, I will make sure to be the Duchess Astrid, so your sacrifice is worth dying for." She patted her mother's head to soothe her and put the gag back in her mouth. Even if it meant sacrificing her mother's life, Ara was already determined to choose her own destiny.

As she prepares to exit the room and inform the Duchess of her decision, the door slam opens with a loud bang. A young boy with a fire glare melted the crystal box with a spell.

"Little Girl, get up. I'm here to bring you out." Sebastian rubs Rachel's shoulder to wake her groggy body.

When Rachel opened her eyes, the Little Duke appeared. Suddenly, she hugs his neck tightly and sobs hysterically.

"Hic'..hic'... Little Duke, save me—the Duchess, your mother, and my cousin. They really hated me. They wish to banish me... hic'..hic."

"Hush little girl. I'm here alright? Sshhh, I'm here now. I won't allow them to hurt you."

As he turned to face the two people in the room, Sebastian gave the other kid a deathly glare. He then lifts the little girl in his arms and sets her on his back. He shut the door as he runs up the stairs, but her mother and the apprentice boy block his path.

"Sebastian, son, give the child back to me. She is not your concern." The Duchess is outraged that her aura began to leak a dark force.

"Duchess Catarina, get out of my way. I won't allow you to hurt this child. Whatever your dirty plan is, you have to kill me first."

"Hahahahaha! You're willing to defy your mother for this child? Oh, I see! now you begin to fancy her light. Do you realize that she comes from the celestial creators whom your ancestors despised? Alright! If you save this child, she will destroy us all."

"I would rather save her and see your clan destroyed. I despised your kind mother!"

"Silly child, hahaha. You despised the very dark nature that flows in your blood, but you can't escape it Sebastian, in the end you will embrace it. Now give me the celestial child."

"Never!" Sebastian screamed as his eyes turned fiery red.

"Oh? Then you have to defeat this mother of yours." She unleashes a strong spell to strike Sebastian, but his son deflects it.

She then signaled Arthur to perform another spell to unleash the flesh eaters so they might distract Sebastian and capture the girl. However, since his son is such a powerful being, he easily dispels their spell. His son is a strong guardian even when he is young. Unless she uses a spell to bind his blood to his father, she won't be able to defeat him easily. She needs to act quickly to prevent him from defeating her because Sebastian is emitting a very dangerous aura.

"Then I have no choice but to do this son. I will not allow that child to remain here in our realm and use her light to purify us all." She then unleashes a binding spell that joins the guardian's blood and paralyzes the target. Sebastian can only be restrained by a guardian's blood.

Although Sebastian attempted to counteract the binding spell, it was too powerful because it was made with his father's blood. When he was eventually restrained, Rachel was freed from his back.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk...You still lack the strength to withstand the binding spell. It will take some more time until your magical core is fully activated. Listen to your mother because she knows best."

Finally, the Duchess took Rachel and went to the dungeon chamber to carry out the ritual. The binding spell will soon wear off, and Sebastian might stop them once more, so she only has a short amount of time left.

Duchess Catarina placed Rachel in the inner circle and motioned for Ara to lie next to her. She then orders Arthur to take out Melissa's core.

"Melissa a traitor's daughter of a runaway dark sorcerers. Your parents betrayed our clan, and this is your rightful ending. Don't worry, your daughter will be the main protagonist of this story thanks to your sacrifice." After she finished speaking, Arthur extracted her core, and Melissa slumped to the ground lifeless.

When Ara realized that her mother's core had been taken and her lifeless vessel was laying on the floor, she sprung to her feet and screamed.

"Arthur now!" Catarina commanded, and Arthur cast a sleeping magic to make Ara fall asleep. She then performed a spell to summon the God of Evil Darkness to this realm.

"Anubis, the God of Evil Darkness. I summoned you to break the celestial child's core and cast her soul into the lowest dimension."

The God of Evil Darkness appeared all of a sudden. "Servant of darkness. Give me the offering and your wish shall be granted." Anubis roared in excitement as he prepared to eat the offering.

"I gave you a dark sorcerer's core of excellent quality. Please feast on it." Duchess Catarina threw Melisa's core for Anubis to eat. He devoured it with gusto.

Then, Anubis chanted a spell to break the child celestial's core, "Te rogo, qui infernales partes tenes, commendo tibi Iuliam Faustillam, Mari filiam, ut eam celerius abducas et ibi in numero tuo habeas."

"It's done."

(Excerpt: A celestial's core can only be damaged/destroyed by a being similar to their existence. Either a Guardian, Celestial itself, or the God of Evil darkness can perform such act)

After Anubis damaged Rachel's core, Duchess Catarina cast a binding spell to take Rachel's light mana and transfer it to Ara.

"Servant of darkness, which dimension would you like to vanish this child's soul?" Anubis asks and shows a hologram screen of different dimension portals.

"The lowest, where soul prisoners are trapped. I wish for this child to suffer and live repeatedly with no way out from that dimension."

Anubis flipped the hologram screen and smiled evilly. "I found it. It's the realm of the Lechers called Gaea. Let's wait for a departing soul and switch them."

They had to wait longer than they had anticipated since, regrettably, Rachel's soul was not compatible with the ordinary inhabitants of that dimension. Just in time, Anubis found a lecher's soul and switched them, and it worked!

"It's done. This child's soul is now in the lowest dimension."

"Wait! Do not shut the portal just yet. Shall we compose a story about how this world ends? The story will undoubtedly appeal to the lowly beings in that world. Hmm, the ending should be my son Sebastian will obliterate their Creator's precious world. Hahahaha!"

She then laughs madly as she throws the book into the portal.

Yes, she, Duchess Catarina Astrid destroyed the celestial descendant's core and banished her into the lowest dimension. What an amazing accomplishment for a lowly being that the Dragon Gods despised.

Shortly after the Duchess started to laugh hysterically, Sebastian appeared behind her and used his blazing sword to stab her core. She then stumbles haphazardly to the ground, but not before casting a powerful spell on Sebastian.

"You shall not remember what happened here."

Back in the present time...

The Dark Master Sorcerer whistles delightfully after successfully breaking the binding spell that was concealed inside the Duchess Catarina's necklace. He received the necklace before the Duchess passed away, and when their clan is in danger, he will unlock the memory that is sealed inside.

Who would have imagined that the celestial child, who had disappeared in the lowest dimension, would return? Now that things have gotten out of hand, he needs to end his brother's happiness because only then will he be motivated to destroy this world created by the Dragon Gods.

"I will not allow you to be with her brother. You must fulfill our mother's wish." He then pours his blood to completely release the sealed memory.

While Sebastian is inspecting on his army, he suddenly felt dizzy to the point that his head almost broke out in pain. He was struggling to breathe when suddenly a string of memories started to flood in.

Since this is the first time they have noticed their master is in pain, Alfred and Ian check on him out of intense worry. "Your Majesty! Are you alright? Call Aldworf, something is wrong with the Duke."

When Sebastian's panting subsided, he signaled to the General to stop. He then stands up and sprints over to the carriage.

"Go as quickly as you can to the Astrid castle." Sebastian commanded to the coachman.
