After their intense love making, the couple lays down in the couch. Rachel snuggled her head in his arms while gently stroking his chest with her palm.

"Husband, are you preparing for a war? I saw a great number of your military occupying the castle's annex."

Sebastian stares at his wife and raises her chin to look at him. "I need to punish the perpetrator who harmed you. The flies are hiding in the Oviedo Forest."

He breathes deeply, and for a split second, his eyes glistened a fiery red color. "I will wipe out those insignificant beings so my wife can live safe and happy."

"Husband, please be safe and don't harm yourself. I know my hubby is powerful, but your wife is scared that your life will be in danger." Rachel hugs his arm as if wanting to hold him close.

"Wife, your husband is a Guardian. My powers are comparable to those of the Celestial Creators. Nobody can hurt me except you," he taunted, kissing her temple.

She playfully punches his chest. "How can I harm you husband? This wife is too weak and has no powers to defeat you."

"Hahaha! You are the only being who can defeat me wife." He then whispers something in her ears that Rachel flushed bashfully.

"Please be serious husband!"

Rachel pouted her lips and was about to ignore him when he suddenly lifts her chin.

"Wife, this....it throbs entirely for you." He then takes her hand and points it towards his heart.

Sebastian's cheeks flushed as he sighed heavily and appeared to be struggling putting his feelings into words.

Rachel's heart pounded so loudly that she wanted to jump for joy when she heard Sebastian's confession. Her lips quivered with intense emotion as she held his hand and place it on her heart saying,

"Sebastian, my husband... me too..."

His heart burst with so much happiness when he heard his wife returning his affections. He hugs her so tight to cherish this blissful moment.

Sebastian can't believe it. His precious wife desired him too. His entire body trembles from so many unknown emotions that he wished to prolong these addictive sensations.

"I won't let anyone take you away from me. Your only mine, wife. You only belong to me. If they try to take you away from me, I will destroy them." He whispers softly with a murdering hint in his voice.

"Hush husband. I am solely yours. I'm here as long as you need me."

She then kissed him tenderly to appease her husband's growing anger. Rachel felt uneasy because her intuition tells her that his rising anger is related to the heavenly realm.

'As per my knowledge of this world, the Guardians despise the Celestial Creators deeply because of the curse. My husband despised them as well.'

In all honesty, she favors her husband since, without him, this world would be overrun with evil creatures. Sebastian guards this realm; he has the choice to abandon it and do what he pleases, but he chooses to be a Guardian. They owe him a great deal of gratitude.

"Husband. Do you know that your wife is so proud of you? We live a peaceful life here because of you." She then gave him a cheek kiss with a cute sound, 'Chu'

"I deeply appreciate your duty to keep us safe." 'Chu'

"Wife, as long as you're here with me, I'll guard this realm. The only life I want to protect is yours."

He then kissed her lips and continue their love making.

Sebastian is gazing at the window with a complicated thoughts running through his head. He was heavily smoking these days because of his anxiousness about his wife's origin. Lily Monchy is currently preoccupied with organizing her son's wedding, and he hasn't really set the time of their meeting.

Is he anxious to know the truth? It might seem so since he experienced discomfort for the first time in his life and is unsure of how to deal with these strange feelings. He has never experienced cowardice, love, or fear.

The palace's head maid, Luna, walked into his office and placed the book on his desk. Sebastian motioned for her to speak.

"As per your command, Your Majesty, I have taken the book out of the Duchess' personal luggage. Her personal maid had been searching for it this morning." Luna flinched in terror as she noticed the Duke clenched his jaw and his eyes turned into a scorching red.

The Duke taps his finger, adding to the eerie atmosphere inside the room, and making Luna shiver a lot.

"Luna, you did a good job. You may leave."

The head maid sigh in relief and hurriedly exits the room. Sir William entered the room with a baffled expression on his face.

"William, do you have anything to report? I heard this morning that my wife is looking for the book."

"Your Majesty, from what I can observe, the Duchess' behavior is still the same. I overheard a cry inside of her chamber yesterday. If I remember correctly, it was the Duchess' head lady in waiting."

Sebastian lets out a long sigh as he puffs on his cigar. After his wife recovered from her near-death experience, he sensed that she was hiding something from him.

'Is she scared that I might destroy her so called family in the heavenly realm?'

Despite the lack of evidence, he already accepted this claim as true. Based on the mana that Rachel exudes, he has a hunch that she is a celestial being. He no longer feels the madness igniting within his blood, almost as if it had been cleansed. Sebastian already knew she wasn't ordinary, but he kept believing otherwise.

"Hm, keep observing them. Don't scare her head lady in waiting."

Sebastian can't touch his wife's people unless it concerns her life. He has to compromise his authority in order to gain her trust and keep her in his cage.

"You may leave. Tell Garaitz to see me urgently I have an important job for him."

"I obey his Majesty's command." William knelt and left the Duke's office.
