You groaned in frustration. "Why.." you cried out, tapping the table repeatedly with your pencil. Your head was pounding to the point that it was almost unbearable.

"Hey, (Y/n)!"

You looked up to see the red-headed American grinning widely at you.

"What's that," she asked, pointing at the paper in front of you as she sat down. "Is that our History homework? I thought its deadline was still on Friday.."

You smiled and laid your pencil on the table. "It still is. I just have nothing to do. That's why I'm doing it now. But it's making my head ache at the moment."

"Try resting for a bit. Where's Colleen?"

"Getting some books from the library for our research..."

A series of footsteps were heard in the distance, getting louder by the second. "Dios Mio, (Y/n), look!" the running person exclaimed, which made you and Eini turn your heads to her. She was holding 2 thick books in her hand. She slowed down and sat beside Eini. Then, she immediately opened the first book and flipped it onto a certain page. "Look, (Y/n), it has your name on it!"

(Y/n) (L/n) was born in Amiens, France; January 26, 1739. Her father died when she was 6, in which she and her mother suffered from great poverty. Since then, they have been living with her uncle, Eugene (L/n).

She was a close friend of the famous general, General Xalvador Olivier and of his sibling, Corrianne Olivier. In fact, it was she who helped Corrianne with her relationship with Gabriel Mackintosh.

Colleen's eyes were wide as saucers while reading the encyclopedia. Eini stayed silent and kept on reading, probably because she didn't know about much of your past and matches no resemblance besides the name itself.

(Y/n) (L/n) was the wife of King George III. They were engaged in a secret marriage in 1776. It was said that (Y/n) (L/n) was forced into this marriage due to the obsession and insanity of the king.

"Oh my," Eini commented, "how tragic.."

Colleen turned to look at you with furrowed eyebrows. "You do realize that this is more than a coincidence, right?" She grasped your shoulders tightly. "Is there something you're not telling us?"

You raised an eyebrow, trying to look calm while your heart pounded against your ribs. "What? Why would you think that? It must be a coincidence. There's no way that we're the same person," you retorted.

"What is it then?! Your name is (Y/n) (L/n). You were born in Amiens, France; January 26, 1995. Your father died when you were 6 and since then, you've been living with your uncle whose name is Eugene (L/n). What am I missing?!" she shouted, glaring at you.

Eini stood up from her seat and placed a hand on Colleen's shoulder, grasping it gently. "Colleen, I think that's enough," she ushered. "Why don't we talk about this over some tea? It'll definitely make us feel better and keep a calm atmosphere between the three of us, yes?"

You looked at Eini and nodded before turning to Colleen, waiting for her answer.

Colleen glared at Eini but calmed down nonetheless. She sat back on her seat and opened the history book into another page. "Fine," she grumbled. "It says here that while Japan was invading Manchukuo, a Japanese set a bomb below the rails of a train which did not do much damage considering that the train was still able to pass over those rails without any problem at all.."

You hastily wrote on your notebook, trying to keep up with what Colleen is saying. It seemed that she was reading the book fast on purpose in an attempt to get you to spill the truth.

"..The Japanese, assuming it was the Chinese's fault, blamed the Chinese for it and proceeded with a full invasion on Manchuria. This invasion slowly brought employment up and the Japanese government decided to keep invading other countries to escape the effects of the great depression-"

The bell rang, signifying the end of the school day. The students started to pack their bags while others decided to stay in the campus for a little while more. The three of you stood up and started putting your things away.

"So," Eini started, swinging her bag onto her shoulders, "Starbucks, 5:30?"

"Sure," you answered.

Eini smiled and started running down the sidewalk towards the school gate. "I'll see you guys there then!"

You walked with Colleen home, regarding the fact that she was just a block away from your street. "So Colleen," you called, trying to strike a conversation and breaking the silence between the two of you. "Why would you borrow a book for learning Polish?" you asked, pointing at the book in her arms.

Colleen huffed. "My cousin just got back from Poland and my mum demanded that I learn Polish so that he won't be too homesick."

You chuckled. The situation reminded you of when a certain French lady decided to learn English just to understand her customers well. "I've been studying english since we met. I figured that it is easier to talk to customers this way," she said. "How nice of you."

"Yeah, yeah. You better show up at the cafe later or else.." the brunette trailed off, thinking of any possible punishment. "I'll kill you."

You raised eyebrow. "You wouldn't do that.."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yes. You can't stay mad at me for too long."

"Don't take it for granted."

"And plus, you would've been sent to prison if you did that."

"It'd be worth it."

"You'd be crying over my coffin."

"Don't get full of yourself."

"Yeah, whatever. I'll be there."

"Oh, you'd better be."

You let out a small laugh. "Hey, Colleen." Her head turned to you, giving you her full attention. "You just missed your street."

Your best friend furrowed her eyebrows and hesitantly looked behind her. There standing was your uncle's house itself, standing in all of its annoying glory. Well, for Colleen, it is. She glared at you and began walking in the opposite direction while cursing under her breath, kicking the sidewalk along the way in annoyance.

You entered the house and went straight to your room. You dropped your bag on the bed, quickly grabbing the two university notebooks inside. You opened both of them, revealing your notes. Luckily for you, your hand was able to scribble down some phrases from what Colleen said. How did Japan come up with the project, Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere? Because they wanted to. You pressed your lips into a thin line and wrote down an essay of explanation.

After finishing up with the homework, you slid the notebooks into your bag and browsed your bookshelf. Eleanor of Aquitaine. The Six Wives of Henry VIII. The White Queen. Wolf Hall. A History of the English-Speakers. The History of England. You grabbed the last book and carried it with you downstairs to the basement.

"Uncle,"you called, stealing his attention away from the time machine, which he was repairing. You opened the history book, looking at the table of Contents. (Y/n) (L/n)... 63. You flipped it at that specific page and showed him the text. "Look at this!"

His eyes widened, as if he didn't have any eyelids at all. He readjusted his glasses, thinking it was all a big mistake but it wasn't. It was all too real. "W-what?!" he exclaimed. "I-it can't be. That book is lying!"

"I do hope it is, uncle. But unfortunately, for us, it's true," you replied, setting the book down on one of the tables. "What are we supposed to do?"

Your uncle held both sides of his head. "What are we going to do?"

"That's just what I said..."

"I don't really know." He looked at the time machine and immediately frowned. He threw the screwdriver he was holding which bounced helplessly onto the floor. "I guess fixing this time machine is worthless now. I was just wasting my time truing to put it back together."

You already had an idea what he was trying to say but you still hoped it wasn't what you thought it would be. "What do you mean, uncle?"

"I won't let you go back to that time again."

"Uncle, what are you saying?" you said firmly, sounding more like you were demanding something rather than asking. He stayed silent. "What are you saying?!" you asked once more, a lot louder and desperate this time.

"I'm destroying the machine, (Y/n)! I'm halting this project!" he shouted, ever so bluntly. "What's the point anyway?! This is just a worthless piece of trash that will be a burden for all of us!" His face was covered in tears, his eyes filled with guilt, and his heart engulfed in total despair. "I can't lose you, (Y/n). I promised my brother that i would take care of you... and you know that all too well."

"But this is too much to let go, uncle. This could open up new opportunities and capabilities of humanity. This could be the answer to all the mysteries and problems of the universe. Think about it," you countered.

He didn't hesitate to answer. "I said NO, and that's final. Your life is more important than answers, capabilities, intelligence or fame so NO."

"But uncle-"

"I said NO," he growled. And you knew better than to test your limitations so you kept your mouth shut. "And where did you get that anyway? Were you studying about it?"

You shook your head. "No, not really. Colleen found it first and showed it to me. She demands an explanation. I keep telling her it's just a coincidence but she won't believe me."

Your uncle pinched the bridge of his nose, and rested his other hand on his hips. "This day just keeps getting worse," he sighed.

You couldn't help but agree. First, you ruined history. Second, Colleen doesn't trust you. Third, the book says that you were the wife of a psychotic king. "Should I tell them the truth?"

"Are you crazy? Of course not!" he answered. "We can't let anyone know about this. This stays between us."

You nodded. You grabbed the history book on the table and started to head upstairs.

"Where are you going?"

You looked behind you and answered, "I'm going to meet with my friends, uncle, if that's alright with you." You caught a glance of his suspicious eyes. "I'm not telling them about this. Promise."

He sighed. "You better not.."

"What took you so long?!" Colleen growled, standing from her seat. Her sudden action caught some weird stares and whispers but she didn't seem to care. You had her full attention, waiting for an answer.

"Colleen.." Eini called, earning a glare from the girl. "Sit back down," she ordered.

Surprisingly, Colleen did.

Eini smiled and nodded at you, acknowledging your presence. "(Y/n), please sit down," she said calmly.

You sat down across from them and waited for one to speak. No one dared to though, even Colleen didn't. She just threw glares at you every once in a while. Eini, on the other hand, tapped the table with her fingers lightly. You were getting a bit impatient.

You cleared your throat, earning their attention. "Shall we go get our orders?" you asked.

"I guess," Colleen replied. "I'll just get a glass of water.."

"Are you sure?" you asked, knowing Colleen all too well. "Wow, this is the first time I saw you ordering just a glass of water."

She groaned. "Yes, (Y/n). I'm sure," she replied. You raised an eyebrow causing her to roll her eyes. "Fine. I'll get one Hibiscus Infusion and a Cinnamon - Swedish Bun. How about you, Eini?"

"Just a Caramelized Pecan Latte would be enough," she answered.

You stood up and went to the counter with Colleen trailing behind you for no particular reason. "One Hibiscus Infusion, a Caramelized Pecan Latte, a Swedish Bun - Cinnamon, and [insert order here] please. Thank you."

He took one Cinnamon bun from the displayed sweets and scribbled each individual order on a cup. "Name please."

"(Y/-"

"Voldemort," Colleen interrupted.

The cashier gave her a weird look before scribbling the name on the cups. Well, at least you thought it was the name. "That'll be (Total/Price), ma'am."

You hand the money to the man and went to the next one, who handed you your orders. You walked to your table and gave each individual their orders.

Colleen looked at her drink and was so happy to see the words, "He-who-shall-not-be-named." She looked back at the man behind the counter, who just winked at her before turning his attention back to the customer. Her smile was bigger than ever and her blush was as red as her drink.

You snapped your finger in front of her trying to break her trance. No use. "Colleen? Hey Colleen. Hey. Snap out of it!"

She flinched and looked at you. "Huh? What? Why?"

"You've been staring at that guy for about a minute or so..?" you said, letting out a little laugh. She blushed out of embarrassment. "So anyways, how about we talk about what we came here for?"

She leaned her back on her chair. "Oh, don't worry about that...

.. I'm in love."
