Woken by the bright sunlight glistening off the light snow fall Hari was facing her window as she felt the weight shifting besides her knowing she did something she'd soon regret.

She knew Sophie was perfect in every way but she knew she'd break her heart and she didn't deserve that no one one does. Since Kate she'd not trusted herself to love or be loved.

Hari knew that sleeping with Sophie was a really bad idea but she was so hot right? like how can she not?? Hari rolled over to face the girl. The sheet was half way down leaving her back fully exposed. Hari went up on to her elbows and proceeded to lay soft kisses all over her back Sophie moaned at the action as she rolled over "mmmm good morning to you to" she say as she sits up and gives her a slow passionate kiss. Hari grabbed her by her waist and pulled her onto her lap, her tongue glided along Sophie's bottom lip asking for entry which she was granted. There was a brief battle for dominance which Hari easily won. Just as the kiss was getting hot she heard her bedroom door swing open with a crash, rattling her side table!

"I'm...hoohhh my god I'm so sorry!"

Jane backed out of the door quickly covering her eyes.

Sophie jumped off Hari's lap holding up the sheet to cover herself!

"DUDE cockblock much!!" Hari shouted giving an I'm sorry look to Sophie.

She knew it was Jane home early from her work trip.

Jane paced the living room waiting for two to make an appearance.

She fussed putting away various items checking over any paperwork she had. She prepared a jug of coffee for the 3 of them. The 3rd beingn she can only assume Sophie.

"Heyyyy how was your trip?" Hari asks.

"Good yeah deals all sorted, where's hophie?"

"I've asked you not to call her that" she rolls her eyes and gives her a disapproving look.

Jane just gives her a look.

"...She's.. she's in the shower she'll be out now"

"What happened to "calling things off?"

"Things got complicated" Hari explains

"In 24 hours???" she whisper shouts.

"Yes in 24 hours thing got complicated" she whisper shouts back as she heads to grab 2 cups of coffee.

"You are gonna break that girls heart Hari and its gonna be me that has to pick up the pieces you leave behind"

"Ok I know... I know less of the judgment please, your meant to be on my side"

Hari and Jane sat around their kitchen island drinking coffee whilst Hari explained her meeting with Florence and how she's felt something more than she's ever felt for anyone before.

"So are you like in love with her or something?"

"What? HA! No I've just met her... but she's.. she's just so different we had a great time and all we did was talk"

Hari took a sip of her coffee "Oh and I saw Kate to top it alll off"

"Fucking bitch I'll body slam her"

Hari laughed, she knew that Jane had a strong dislike considering she'd never actually met the girl, however in true best friend style she was ready to beat her up if needed.

Sophie appeared from Hari's bed room with slightly wet hair and in one of Hari's oversized t shirts and a pair of shorts.

"That coffee smells so good"

Hari holds out cup for her. "Thanks babe"

Sophie sat down on the sofa when Jane turned to her housemate and mouthed the word "babe??"

Hari looked and shrugged her shoulders.

After a few minutes Jane looked up from her phone and stood up abruptly. "I need to get to the office I'll see you guys later"

"Ok bye see you later" Hari replies.

An awkward silence filled the room.

"I heard what she said you know H.. about calling things off with me?"

Haris head hung down"Oh you heard that?"

"I guess I always knew this wouldn't last forever. I guess... Well no I just hoped you'd decide you did want this... with me after all"

Hari looked away slightly ashamed "I don't deserve someone like you. You're so good and you're kind and I know I'd ruin you forever and that's the last thing I'd ever want. You deserve someone who can love you entirely"

Hari walked up to her and took her hands in her own. She looked deep into her eyes

"I do love you but not the way you deserve to be loved"

Sophie had a small smile on her face "I know" she hugged Hari "I just hope you find someone you are capable of loving again"

"Hah maybe one day. We'll see seems unlikely damaged"

Sophie took her hands from Hari.

"I better go. Let me just change into my own clothes"

"No its ok keep them they look better on you anyway" Hari says with a wink.

"Oi now stop that" She says as she lightly hits her arm

"Sorry sorry force of habit"

Hari stood in the hallway as she watched her walk away. A sense of you don't know what you got till it's gone washed over her.

She decided to get changed and go for a run there was nothing better than a run in central park to clear the head.

She changed into joggers and a baggy top popped her head phones in and selected a running playlist.

As she was about to leave she had a notification on her phone

Hari slipped her phone away as she left for her run in Central park.

She knew she needed time to herself. Needed to stop just sleeping with girls. She needed a brand new start with women, but first she needed to be alone."No more women not for a while" Hari said to herself as she left her apartment building.
