《the girl in the ramones shirt》chicken emojis

Luke's breath caught in his throat. She was here. He was so close to those blue eyes that he'd been obsessively thinking about for the past two hours.
Should I talk to her?
Should I wait for her to notice me?
What if she's here with her boyfriend?
Luke stopped himself there. She didn't have a boyfriend. She had given him her number. She wouldn't do that if she had a boyfriend. Would she?
His thoughts were interrupted when he saw her friend, Emily, walking back from the bathroom. He siged with relief. She wasn't here with her boyfriend. She didn't have a boyfriend.
Emily paused before sitting down. She motioned towards the three rowdy boys and the one watching them. Rosemary turned her head towards the table where the band was sitting. She locked her eyes with Luke's. He felt the butterflies return to his stomach as she smiled at him.
"Hey there!" yelled Ashton. Rosemary's eyes darted towards him. Luke felt a surge of annoyance.
"You two were at our concert today, right?" Rosemary nodded. "Well come on then, lets push these tables together and have ourselves a party!"
The tables were pushed together.
Emily sat down next to Michael, and Rosemary next to Luke, with Calum and Ashton at the ends. Lukes entire right side was on fire. He tried not to think about how close Rosemary's leg was to his.
Once they had all re-introduced themselves, the conversation, as it usually did, centered around music. To his delight, Luke found out that Rosemary had a music taste incredibly similar to his own. He hung on to every word she said.
Luke loved the way that she talked. Her voice was soft, but somehow it commanded the attention of everyone around her. She didn't lessen the meaning of the words she was saying with frilly language. She got straight to the point.

When the food finally came, Luke tore his attention away from Rosemary. He noticed that Michael and Emily's chairs had gotten considerably closer to each other. He also noticed that Michael was eating one-handed, and that Emily was slightly blushing. He smiled to himself and shook his head.
By the end of the night, Luke had figured out that he was completely infatuated with Rosemary. He memorized her every move, every word that came out of her mouth.
Too soon the plates were empty and it was time to go.
"How long are you staying in Chicago?" Emily asked from under Michael's arm as the gang rose to their feet.
"We'll be here two more days, were celebrating Lukey's birthday," said Calum.
Rosemary turned to Luke. "I didn't know it was your birthday," she said.
"It's not. Tomorrow is," he replied cheekily.
She smiled at him. She was going to have to stop doing that. Luke didn't know how many more butterflies could fit in his stomach.
They walked out the doors and into the cool summer night air.
"Well, this has been fun. What do you say we exchange numbers and you girls can show us the city tomorrow?" Ashton said.
Both girls typed their numbers into Ashton's phone.
"We'll see you," Rosemary said and started to turn.
"Wait," Luke said. "Let me walk you to your car."
Emily and Michael went in for a very passionate hug, and when she thought no one was looking, Emily planted a quick peck on his lips. (Everyone was watching)
The three of them walked across the parking lot and up to a midnight blue Honda Civic. Emily immediately got into the car, but Rosemary hesitated.
"Do you still have my number?" she asked Luke.

Luke looked down at his hand. "Shit," he muttered, for the digits had smudged. All that was left was a thick, blurry line (blurred lines hehehehe).
Rosemary giggled and pulled out her phone. "Type yours, and I'll text you."
Luke took her phone with shaky hands. He typed his number and added the chicken emoji at the end of his contact name.
When he returned her phone, Rosemary went to text him. "I love the chicken emoji!" she exclaimed.
"Me too, it's my favorite," Luke laughed.
He felt his phone buzz in his back pocket. Rosemary smiled.
"I guess I'd better get going, we've got to get to the hotel," Luke said.
Rosemary smiled and they both stood there for a moment before Luke gave up and started to turn around.
She grabbed is hand pulled him close to her. Before either of them knew what they were doing, they were kissing. It was a sweet, simple kiss. Both of their hands were hanging by their sides.
They pulled away and both grinned. Luke rubbed the back of his neck.
Rosemary opened her door. Before she got in, she turned and spoke to him.
"I'm so glad I met you today," she said.
"Me too," Luke replied. He noticed that her lipstick was a little bit smeared.
"I'll talk to you tomorrow, I guess," she said, and then she was inside the car. Luke watched her drive away before finally taking out his phone to save her number.
He saved the number, then opened the message. All that it contained was three chicken emojis.
