the girl in the ramones shirt Chapter 1

The first thing Luke noticed about her were her eyes. Ice blue, yet they seemed warm. Her eyes were the kind that made you wonder if they could see right through you, right into the deepest corners of your mind.
Next was her hair. Wild, honey colored ringlets that bounced when she moved. Even in the dim lighting, they shone.
Everything else came at him in a rush-her perfectly bow-shaped lips, smeared with a deep red lipstick; her high cheekbones, slightly flushed; her fantastic body, and the tantalizing way that her white Ramones shirt and high waisted cutoffs accented it.
The way she moved was transfixing. The slight swish of hips, her squared shoulders. She gave off a sense of confidence that Luke would never be able to understand. He thought he could watch he forever.
Luke was interrupted by a sharp elbow in his ribs.
"C'mon, mate, everybody's tired, but we gotta take the pictures," his bandmate and best friend, Calum, whispered roughly in his ear so that the fan on his arm wouldn't here.
Luke nodded and smiled half heartedly for the picture. He kept doing so, looking around for the girl every so often. Finally, he spotted her, only a few people away in the meet and greet line. Then it hit him.
Holy fuck, she's in the meet and greet line.
She came to my show.
She wants to meet me.
He was suddenly filled with joy and anxiety. What if she didn't like him? Did he reek of sweat? But she was the one who came to see him. What would he say to her? What if she was only here with a friend? What if she actually had no interest in him at all?
All too soon she and another girl were striding up to him and the other three members of his band. Fuck, she was even more beautiful up close. All Luke could do was try to keep his jaw from dropping.

"Hello there," said Ashton, using the voice he only used when the fans were hot. Luke shot him death looks, but Ash was too involved in the girls to notice. "What are your names?"
"I'm Emily," said the friend. Luke hadn't noticed her before, but she was very pretty. She was also giving Michael a very dirty look, which he didn't seem to mind one bit.
"I'm Rosemary."
Her voice was soothing, and lower than Luke had expected it to be. Rosemary. He thought it was beautiful.
Emily positioned herself between Michael and Ashton, and Rosemary walked towards Luke and Calum. Only then did their eyes meet. She gave him a shy smile and slid one of her arms around his waist and the other around Calum's. Luke's body tensed at her touch. He was stressing out way too much over this girl.
Fuck she smelled good.
"Everybody ready for the picture?" the crabby photographer barked.
Everyone nodded. At the last minute, Luke leaned in and planted a kiss on Rosemary's cheek. After the flash went off, Luke pulled away, embarrassed of his actions, only to find Rosemary with a deep blush in her cheeks. He grinned and leaned in close again, this time to whisper in her ear.
"Is there any way that I could get your number?" he asked, using his deepest voice. He couldn't really tell, but he thought her blush got a little deeper.
She pulled a pen from her pocket and took his hand in hers. She had very small hands, Luke noticed.
As she scribbled down her number, Luke felt a storm of butterflies flying around in his stomach, pounding on the walls.
All too soon, the security gaurds were ushering her and her friend away. Luke watched her leave, and internally rejoiced when she turned her head back towards him, giving him one last look.

Luke was giddy through the rest of the meet and greet. He couldn't get her out of his mind. Her cheeks, red with the blush that he had caused, the way that her hands had been warm, but not sweaty, and especially the quick glance he had had at her bum.
When the last three girls had taken their picture and were on their way out the doors, Luke started to think about what would hppen if Rosemary was outside with the rest of the fans. For some reason, she didn't strike him as the obsessive type. But he still let himself hope.
The security gaurd opened the doors, and a hundred squealing voices filled his ears. Luke glanced around the crowd, stopping to take pictures and talk to a few girls. He was careful not to let anyone touch his left hand.
After five minutes and no sign of her, Luke made his way into Gus the Bus, slightly deflated. But he still had her number.
Slowly the rest of the boys stopped dicking around and loaded onto the bus. After Ashton finished talking to a few more fans out the window, they were off. Luke stuggled to remember where they were. Chicago- they were in Chicago. Rosemary was in Chicago, somewhere.
"We're going for dinner, right?" Calum whined to their manager, John.
"Ya, someplace called the Rainforest Cafe. It's here in the city. We should be there shortly," John answered.
Luke was looking out the window when he felt Ashton plop down beside him. Michael and Calum were on the couch across from them.
"American girls," Calum sighed.
"Do you remember the one in the Ramones shirt? I swear they put something in the water here." Ashton said.
Luke looked away from the road at the mention of Rosemary.
"Her friend, too. Damn," Michael agreed.
Luke just nodded along. For some reason, he didn't want to tell them that he had Rosemary's phone number.
"What's that on your hand, Lukey?" Calum asked.
Well shit.
"The girl in the Ramones shirt gave me her number," Luke said after a moment of hesitation.
The boys stared at him and then started whooping and whistling.
"Lukey's gonna get it!"
"Our little baby, all grown up!"
"Do you think you could get me her friend's number too?"
"Shutup," Luke said, but he was smiling.
"Boys, were here," called John from the front of the bus.
They all piled out and walked into the restaurant. Once they were seated, Luke looked around at the whimsical building. His eyes wandered to a table a few feet away from there's, where a very familiar looking girl sat with her back to him.
