Soon after I had sent that message to Liam I instantly got a reply back like he was just waiting for me to text him.

I wonder if his sister told him that she gave out his number to me.

Either way, I was relieved that he texted back because we had been texting all night and into today. It was nice to text someone other than my family.

As of right now though I was debating on what I wanted to text back to him as I kept rereading his message.

Was I really ready to go on a date with this man?

When I didn't respond right away he texted back worried that it was too soon.

Oh no, that wasn't my intention at all!

I wanted to make him squirm a little when he read my message because I thought it would be a little funny.

The last part made me laugh at the fact I couldn't have agreed more with his words.

I then slipped my phone into my purse before heading out the door and towards my car. After the short drive to the daycare, I finally arrived excited to pick her up because I missed her while I was at work.

Once I got out of the car and went inside I was greeted by Carol one of the workers.

"Hey Savannah, how are you?"

"I'm good how are you?"

"I'm perfect. I love working with such wonderful kids, speaking of which I should go get Lexi while you sign her out."

"I bet and okay sounds good."

While she went to go get her I picked up the pen and signed both her and my names on the sheet of paper.

"Hey, mama."

"Hi sweetheart" I greeted her as she approached me with a smile on her lips and her teddy in hand, "you ready to go?"

"Yep, I want to go home and watch Frozen."

Ah yes of course she wanted to watch frozen for the third time this week.

"Okay, we can do that. See you tomorrow Carol." I spoke before we were out the door.

"Can we stop and get some chicken nuggets from McDonald's?" Lexi asked as we pulled out of the parking lot and onto the main road and towards McDonald's.

"We sure can."

That made her happy as she shouted "yay" from the backseat.

"How was daycare today?"

"Good, I got to see Ellie and she said we could have a sleepover at her house instead."

"Yeah, I spoke to her mom and she said the same thing. She'll pick you and Ellie up after daycare for you to stay until Sunday."

"I hope her mom makes spaghetti I love her spaghetti."

She says the same thing about mine hopefully she thinks mine is better.

"What don't you like?" I asked her while looking back into my mirror as she just shrugged her shoulders.

"Pineapples."

"Of course, you don't like those you're allergic to."

I learned that the hard way when she was three and I swear I cried when she had a severe allergic reaction.

"It's okay they smell nasty anyways."

They did too in my opinion, so I didn't understand how people could eat pineapple on pizza when I was pregnant with Lexi the smell made me nauseous.

"They sure do."

At McDonald's, I ordered both of us nuggets and fries and they smelled so freaking delicious that I was ready to get home and dig in.

I let Lexi go ahead and eat of course while I decided to wait which was that bad because we were home in no time. Before grabbing the bag of food I got Lexi out and took in her stuff and then came back outside to get the rest of the stuff.

"I'm going to watch tv while I eat is that okay?"

"Yeah, sweetheart that's fine."

With her chicken nuggets in hand, she plopped down on the couch as she turned on The Magic School Bus. She focused all her attention on the television while I took a seat in the kitchen to eat my food and keep an eye on her. As I ate my phone pinged with a message and I was happy to see who it was.

That was sweet of him to check-in.

Gosh, I feel like I'm back in high school getting butterflies from reading a text message from a great guy.

That's a lovely thing to hear I don't think I ever heard Mason tell me that or at least I don't remember.

I didn't message back only because I wanted to spend a little time with Lexi as we continued to watch tv. I had a little bit before I'd be making dinner.

Taking a seat next to her we cuddled and watched the episode where Mrs. Frizzle turns her class into bees to show them a beehive up close so they can see how it all operates. One of my favorite episodes besides the one where they learn about the digestive system, it's gross I know but it's interesting and I liked it when I was in school.

I wanted her to watch and get into the shows I did and it definitely did help I think this was her favorite one so far.

Moments like these meant everything to me, I loved being able to share these things with her and I hoped she and I would have a huge bond that it would continue to grow for years to come. She was my number one supporter and it meant so much to me.

"I love you, mama."

Placing a kiss on her head I snuggled closer to her as I said, "I love you too sweetheart, forever and always."
