"Can we please go Chuck E cheese?" begged Sekani.
"Did you do your homework?" asked Kasiyah sorting out a few files.
The bell rang causing Kasiyah to go tend to that before Sekani could answer her question.
"Please Kasiyah can me and Pablo go eat pizza, I want to play the games too." he continued to plead.
"We'll take you." said Keith and Tremani on the otherside of the door.
"I'm already taking them, you two have a therapy session to go to." she corrected them.
"Then we going to the hospital. Me and you." he said pointing between himself and Kasiyah.
"Plus that's not today it's never." said Keith. Kasiyah gave him a deadly stare making him correct himself. "It's tomorrow chillax."
"Don't put your finger in my face." she said mugging his finger. "I was going to go anyway with or without you." she smiled.
"When's Kamiyah coming back?" asked Pablo slipping on his shoe.
"Soon. She'll be back before you know it."
"I miss her sassing me about." sighed Sekani.
"Trust me I miss her too." said Keith hugging the two boys. A tear flew out of Kasiyah's eye, she was just about getting by because she had faith that God would do what needed to be done.
"We using your car for church right?" asked Tremani.
"Yes."
"YOU NEVER SAID WE WERE GOING CHURCH?!." said Sekani.
"We are going church, better now." said his dad.

"See this is why I stan Pastor Mike, straight facts no
printer." said Latisha munching on her Pizza
"That lil prayer he said for Kamiyah was cute." said Keith.
"You know what else cute? this pizza, please give me my slice dad." said Sekani.
"No need to be rude." said Kasiyah.
he waited before deciding to get the slice himself, he was too tired of waiting.
"We best go." said Kasiyah. "Don't act like them movies and kidnap these boys you hear me? warned Kasiyah to Keith.
"Girl who do you think I am? Your lucky I like you." he replied.
Kasiyah walked off with her belongings and got into her car. Soon after Tremani was in the car. "Damn lil ma you speeding out of here like you about to get a ticket because of parking." huffed Tremani.
"Mhm." she responded playing her music, the drive was ten minutes.
A few minutes into the drive Tremani broke the silence.
"Stop this car." he said looking at her.
"No, we are literally on the main road." she said mugging him.
"I don't care stop on the side or sum, your not taking me anywhere with that attitude."
"You chose to tag along."
"Ok and? like I said stop the car."
"No."
"I'll manually switch it off." he warned.
Kasiyah rolled her eyes and turned to the curb so she could stop. "Kasiyah don't roll your eyes at me, the fuck?"

"And don't cuss at me." she said folding her arms.
"Yo you gon need to start getting vocal about any problems you have with me, I ain't no genie I can't just guess when you are mad at me." he said.
"Well you best go get your costume, I can drive you to the store if you would like me to."
"Can you look at me please." he said. "Don't be turning yo head to look at the fucking trees."
"I like the trees."
"I like you." he said but he broke into laughter smacking the door laughing endlessly. "I'm lying."
Kasiyah rolled her eyes she was getting fed up of Tremani's childish ass, it was as if he'd turn into a big child ever since he met his other half- his dad.
"Where's the ring I bought you?, yo hand hasn't been shining like it's supposed to." he questioned.
"It's in the bin." she smiled.
"Mhm 'in the bin' in the bin my ass." he chuckled with her hand in his. "Where it at?" he said examining her finger.
She tried to get her hand out of his grip but his grip was too tight. "I told you it's in the bin, now can I proceed to finish our journey to the hospital" she smartly replied.
"Not until you tell me what's wrong, you never take off that ring every time I see you it's on that finger." he said pointing to her finger.
"You spend an awful amount of your time staring at me huh?"
"Yeah and what about it?" he quizzed furrowing his brows.
Kasiyah giggled but it turned flat when she remembered she was still mad. "Ok you wanna be mad, wait till tonight." he simply said.
Wait till tonight?
She started her car and drove off to the hospital, pft wait till tonight she thought jokes on him imma be asleep my mom has the kids for the night so there ain't no tonight but my night.
"You really got to stop thinking I won't drag your ass out of the house, I said tonight so tonight." he voiced starring at her side profile as she remained concentrated on the road.
"Excuse me how did you-"
He shrugged then said, "Yeah and why aren't I allowed to drive your car."
"Do not act like you don't know why?"
"I don't though, I only went racing with Pablo and Sekani in the back, they wanted me to go fast." he reasoned.
"I don't care if they wanted to fly to dubai you don't do stuff like that without my consent."
"Sekani is my brother, Pablo is my son, that's closer than you think."
"I don't care if your family, your dad would say the same thing." she said ending the conversation with her final verdict.
"Ok Kasiyah." he said.
"I've been meaning to tell you yo bed at ma's house is hella comfy had a nigga feeling like he was on cloud 9." he reminisced.

"You are getting way too comfortable at my moms house."
"Your the one that kicked me out." he retorted.
"And did." she said passing her hand through her neck in a "period" motion.
"You need to give my my shorts back, if your gonna kick me out kick all of me out."
"But what if I still wanted a piece of you." Kasiyah frowned smirking.
"Say less, I'd give you a bigger piece." he chuckled.
Kasiyah burst out laughing, "Ha don't ever think two can't play at this game, "I'd give you a bigger peice" she mocked.
"Cool, you'll be begging one day, and you can't run from it either." he warned.
They sat in silence for the rest of the journey and in due time they arrived at the hospital. Together they waltzed into the hospital sharing a regular head nod with the receptionist and heading straight to Kamiyah's room.
"Mom? what are you doing here." asked Tremani.
"My baby, oh my baby." she cried touching Kamiyah's face. "Tremani what happened to my baby?"
"Look ma you got to go, leave."
Kasiyah couldn't believe it this was all wrong. Kamiyah has never seen or heard from her mom since she was a baby, and now that she's in hospital she arrives.
To her suprise she had said all the above to her.
"And you are?"
"Her guardian." she simply said.
"I want to see her father right now."
"Ma you can't just ask to see people, people were asking for you and you didn't magically just appear." quizzed Tremani.
"Son I was looking after you."
"You must of had me in a box because I didn't even know I had siblings or a father."
"None of you knew my circumstances so I shouldn't have to explain myself to any of you."
"Ma'am I'm Kamiyah and Sekani's social worker aswell." smiled Kasiyah.
"I'm leaving."
"Ma you ain't even call to check on me after i got out jail."
"Son, you know I would've eventually called right?"
"Please. Your lucky I found Kasiyah and connected the dots, you should've told me about the twins, had me staying at grandmas crib thinking i'm on some free resort holiday."
"And you know this how."
"Because of pops ma, and Uncle Keem, remember his ass?"
"He still breathing?"
"they could ask you the same thing." he said in a grandma voice. Kasiyah whacked him with her tiny bag. "Ow." he huffed.
"I see she got yo ass in check, I'm still yo mama I can whoop yo ass talking to me like that."
Her hair laid curled as one of her eyes were a light blue and the other was brown, she had pretty brown skin that stayed clear and free from spots. Kasiyah could tell where Kamiyah got her features from.
"Thanks ma'am, he sure is a handful." Kasiyah said with a tight lipped smile.
"Girl you talking about yo damn self." he huffed.
They all turned to look at Kamiyah, "She's so beautiful, she look just like me." spoke her mom.
Tremani furrowed his eyebrows tapping Kasiyah to check she heard her too. "Ma'am what is your name?"
"Milan." she said. "I have to leave, I already cause problems seeing you two imagine what the whole family would say."
"You can't hide forever." said Kasiyah. "Kamiyah and Sekani will get curious and want to know who you are, you need to stop running away from responsibilities you knew you'd have to face the moment you were pregnant." voiced Kasiyah.
"She's right ma."
She kept her eyes on the ground too ashamed to look up to Kasiyah. What she said was true. At the time her and Keith had broken up just before she could say she was pregnant, she left Tremani with her mom and stayed with Kieth and the twins for the first two months but told Keith she'd be back and never came.
"They'll find me soon, here's my number." she said giving Kasiyah a price of paper. "When Kamiyah is well bring them both down to me, just text me."
"Why not now ma."
"I'd just bring trouble with me, and I'd hate to bring danger to you all." and with that she left.
Kasiyah wandered around the room in confusion, when the heart monitor beeped louder. She turned to Tremani and found his hands cupped around Kamiyah's tiny hands. "She's awake Kasiyah, call the doctors now."
"Hi Kamiyah remember my ass or do I look like a ghost in your eyes." asked Tremani.
She was still adjusting to her surroundings the bright light tormented her eyes as she lay on the bed unable to move just yet.
"Hi little one, you must be Kamiyah ." said the doctor with Kasiyah behind her.
"Hm?" questioned Kamiyah nothing was adding up to her it felt like her mind was all muddled up in peices, no memory was clear it was all a blur.
"If you could both leave so that I can test her for responsive feedback."
"Ok." they said leaving the room.
"Don't put her back to sleep, that's my sisters life yall playing with." warned Tremani.
"She's awake." Kasiyah repeated in relief her head layed in her hands as tears of joy streamed down her face.
"I know baby, we got our Kamiyah back." he said hugging her.
Their attention to the main tv screen in the hospital.

Kasiyah rose from Tremani's chest and looked at him, "Tremani."
