"Tremani if you could step up on the rail please." said the officer.

It was finally his release day and he was ready. The officers were doing the last few touch ups before he left. He said his goodbyes earlier and left his attire in his dorm, as he was given his clothing back. It felt good to be in his own clothes, he wore a simple pair of grey sweat shorts and a white top with his bike slides. These were the clothes he was arrested in.

"Ok Tremani, here are the rest of your belongings, be good out there, I don't want to see you up in here again." said the officer with a glare.

Tremani chuckled reassuring her that he would never be back here and he was very sure of that. Tremani gave a few officers a head nod and gave Officer Banner the coldest glare with a little smirk. He knew that if he caught him on the streets it would be over for him.

As he walked out of the doors the cool breeze slapped his face as his eyes adjusted to the brightness outside. After a few minutes of taking in his surroundings a black bmw swerved into the parking lot right in front of him taking him by surprise.

The car window lowered and a voice said, "Ayo get in mahn, Kasiyah couldn't come get you."

Tremani was a bit cautious because he didn't know who Sincere was, but he walked straight into the passenger side just because he couldn't be bothered to walk.

"I'm sincere." he said.

Tremani was too busy looking outside of the window but turned to just stare at him, nodding while slightly humming in response.

"Your name?." asked Sincere.

Tremani mugged him in confusion, he wasn't about to give his name out so easily besides he didn't even know Sincere. The silence was making the ride even longer so he decided to state his name.

"Tremani."

"The long wait wasn't needed I only needed it so I could remember that you owe me a lil bank transfer, riding in my shit isn't free."

Tremani laughed he reminded him of Herb and he really missed Herb. He made a mental note to call him as soon as he got hold of a phone.

"Sincere, could you go to the mall, I'm tryna buy a few things before we go Kasiyah's."

"Cool, why are you even going there?."

"I'm being forced too."

Sincere nodded and continued driving and in a few minutes they arrived in the mall, they got out of the car and made small talk. As they walked into the mall Tremani felt the eyes of girls passing bye staring at him.

Although his fit was simple he was good looking, his dark skin glimmered and his waves sat neatly on his head. He got his diamonds earrings back and they were on his ears shining too. As him and Sincere spoke he'd let out a small smile every so often showing his white perfectly lined teeth.

"What you finna buy? Nigga do you even have money?", rambled Sincere, he had so many questions that needed to be answered.

"Don't worry about it.", along with all his other belongings he got his black card back, all the time he was in the prison he hoped with every brain cell that nobody touched the card because there was millions sitting in it and he couldn't afford to lose it.

Sincere got caught up with a few ladies leaving Tremani to go into the shoe store alone. He looked over all the shoes and found a pair of jordan 4s black cats and copped them. He had extra cash to spare and remembered the three kids Kasiyah lived with.

He didn't want to walk into the house empty handed so he bought them a pair of kicks each and guessed their size hoping that it would fit. After paying for all of the stuff he went out of the store to find Sincere still chatting up to the ladies making Tremani roll his eyes.

He then went into the pandora store to just browse over some jewellery he could buy his mom and came to the final decision that he would buy Kasiyah a ring with a crown just to say thank you. She truly helped him make improvements in his life even though he didn't want to admit it and that was the only way he could think of saying thank you without her having to throw the fist away.

After buying his own clothe, he went into the parking lot to meet Sincere. Tremani was now hot as ever and it wasn't helping waiting for Sincere while he talked to another set of ladies like he didn't just get the digits of other ladies all at once.

"Erm is this your car?." asked a tall brown skinned girl, her lace was laid as it swung down her back.

"Nah my boy in there doing sum, it's his.", he spoke taking in her presence. She was very pretty.

"Oh ok, how long is he going to take, because I get really impatient." she said lightly laughing. "What's your name?" she asked.

"Murda." he said looking over the parking lot.

"Interesting, I smell cap but it's cool." she giggled.

"Let me get your digits." he said simply.

"I have a boyfriend but you seem cool so give your phone here."

That was fine for Tremani, he needed friends anyway, being lonely was the last thing that was on his mind and he wasn't planning on taking things further anyway.

"Sorry mahn, get in the car." said Sincere unlocking the doors making Tremani tut.

"Are you mad?", asked Tremani.

"Sometimes I think I am but then I remember that I didn't go jail ever in my life." he said adjusting his seatbelt.

"I went prison and I ain't mad." mugged Tremani.

"I'm just playing yall aren't mad your cool, ready to meet Kasiyah?" , he asked.

"Yeah whatever, I'm finna buy a crib though because I ain't staying there for long."

"Come on let's go in."

Tremani adjsuted himself and rang the doorbell. It has been a week since he spoke to Kasiyah and she bought a new house and was nearly done with the moving process.

The door swung open as her door followed her commands. Kasiyah was cooking up a meal for them all, mac n cheese with broccoli and pork. The house smelt of the food and made Tremani extremely hungry.

"What you got cooking up in here?", he asked waltzing in to the kitchen sitting at the table on the landing.

"Who are you?.", he heard a voice say from behind him.

"Who are you?" he asked mugging her. She had some attitude on her and he didn't like it.

"Kamiyah, but I asked you first." she said folding her hands.

"Tremani but I didn't want to answer." he replied.

Tremani' knew he would regret buying her a gift and she would be his hardest problem.

"So I see you met Kamiyah."

"You invite me to your house but I meet everybody but you?"

"Yes and? I'm a busy women. Oh you bought clothes, I bought you some too but it's cool."

Tremani smiled to himself, he never really had anybody care for him like she did apart from his mom.

Pablo and Sekani ran into the living room chasing after eachother unable to pay attention to Tremani's arrival.

"Yeah i'm going to leave here by tomorrow because this aint gon work." he said staring at the kids.

Tremani made it very clear that he didn't like kids unless they were his, he just found them annoying especially at the age of 5, they just became rude and so demanding at that age and he never liked demanding people.

"Aww it's never that big of a problem, your a grown man your going to have to learn one day so here is the opportunity.", said Kasiyah fixing the food.

"I'm Pablo, he's Sekani." said Oablo randomly fidgeting with the tv remote on the sofa.

"I'm Tremani, stay out of my way I'll stay out of yours." he nodded.

"Why do you have so many shoes?" asked Sekani.

"They are actually gifts for you all but since your all probably the most annoying-, and before he could finish a rush of wind brushed his arm as they ran towards the bag placing it onto the table. See, annoying, he though to himself.

"Aight cool off with that, never did yall just run to my stuff with no consent, Kasiyah come get your kids.", he yelled and she came rushing into the room with Kamiyah's hands in hers.

"Kasiyah look he bought us shoes." smiled Pablo.

"When did you have time for this?", asked Sincere.

"When you were too busy talking to the female population." retorted Tremani.

"Oh wow, ok."

"You best have bought my size." hollered Kamiyah making Kasiyah glare at her.

"At least I bought you shoes don't even try me because It takes five minutes for me to return this shit." spat Tremani.

"Kasiyah he said a bad word." said Pablo.

"Don't nobody care about that, you say it all the time, keep it pushing." said Sekani winking at Tremani making Tremani smile, he knew that they would be the best of friends.

"Yeah Tremani no swearing in my house, thank you." Kasiyah simply spoke.

"Just open these boxes so I can put the rubbish in the trash." he said with a bored expression.

Without any hesitation they all rummaged through the boxes getting their shoes, it made Tremani laugh because none of them thought to ask who's shoe is for who instead they all just picked their own with jealous looks shot at eachother and it was all just a comedy show to him.

"Kamiyah those are yours." he pointed to the white air force 1s that would be her first pair, she squealed in excitement and ran over to Tremani giving him a hug.

"Pablo, these are yours and Sekani these are yours." he said showing them their boxes. They too were exited and didn't hesitate to put it on their feet strutting across the floor flexing their shoes.

"Ay, I drove you here and I don't get shit, these kids breath and they already getting shoes I wished for as a child." said Sincere.

"Sincere please hush." said Kasiyah.

After it all died down, they gathered at the table to eat and Tremani offered to say grace. At the table he remembered his time in prison and found it hard to not slide his plate to the other side as he was too used to giving his food to Quez.

There was no doubt that the food was way better than the prison food and he really enjoyed. When finished to eat, Kamiyah helped Kasiyah clean up as they all had daily chores and then Sekani and Pablo dried the dishes.

There was order in the house and Tremani feared he would mess up their routine. Everyone had a role even Sincere. For the very little hours he was in the house he still made the effort to sweep the floor. Tremani made the effort to help and he did enough before he sat on the sofa and chilled for abit with Pablo.

"Do you like it here?" asked Tremani deciding to start a conversation with Pablo.

"Yeah, it's the best." he smiled.

"How old are you?"

"I'm six." he said holding up six fingers.

"How old are you?"

"Ten." replied Tremani.

"Do not listen to that man, he three times older than that, look a the size of him." hollered Kamiyah from the kitchen.

"She's five but she thinks she's older than me, her and Sekani are twins so they are both five nearly turning six." explained Pablo making Tremani nodded his head.

It was now nearing ten o clock, they spent most of their time watching movies and talking all together with Kamiyah in Tremani's arms. Tremani didn't budge he just let her rest there for a while before they had to go to bed.

Kasiyah smiled at the view, watching Kamiyah in Tremani's arms and Pablo and Sekani on either side of him, they said they were watching "the lion king" but in reality Kasiyah was the only one watching it. They were all too busy telling Tremani about themselves and begging for another round of arm wrestling and rock paper scissors. It made Kasiyah happy that they all interacted well.

She noticed Kamiyah well asleep in Tremani's arms and decided that it was time for the kids to go to bed.

"Sekani and Pablo go up into your room and get ready for bed." she said and they went upstairs rubbing their eyes.

"Wheres her room?" asked Tremani.

"It's up the stairs to the right." she said showing him.

Tremani got up and took Kamiyah to her room. Her room was a light blue colour with a princess bed and a table nearing it, there was a sofa near the door and her wardrobe sat next to the wall.

Neatly, he placed her onto the bed pulling the covers over her and kissing her cheek as she snuggled into the bed letting the blanket cover her.

Careful to not make any noise he closed the door, and was met with Pablo and Sekani, "Can you tuck us into bed like you did with Kamiyah?" asked Sekani.

"Can you tell us a prison story too?" asked Pablo.

"Sure let's go." he said laughing.

"No you wont be doing that, not today, yall have school tomorrow we'll do it on Saturday all together." said Kasiyah.

"Yall heard what the boss said, hop into bed quick time." he said tucking them into bed.

"Goodnight Tremani." they both said.

"Goodnight." he said closing their door.

"Your pretty good at this huh." she said walking down the stairs.

"No I'm not." he said.

"You just don't want to believe it." she said sitting next to him on the sofa.

"Kasiyah shut the hell up, I'm tired as fu- ever." he said correcting himself.

"I don't care. How does it feel to be out."

"Good."

"And after so many times that I told you to come and stay at my house you finally agree what changed your mind?"

"Kasiyah consider this a sleepover." he said glaring at her. "Thank you though."

"No problem, you don't need to say thank you."

"You went in that bag with all them kids and didn't see that Pandora bag?" he asked looking into her eyes.

Kasiyah nervously chuckled, she felt nervous when she was around him, he didn't look the same as he did when he was in prison and that's in a good way. He looked neat and even better looking even without the freshest cut.

"What Pandora bag?"

Tremani smacked his lips and went over to the table slightly sagging his grey sweats as he reached for the Pandora bag, he returned to his seat and handed it to her.

"What's this for?" she asked.

"Can you stop asking so many damn questions and open the mother fuck- just open the bag." he said correcting himself again in response to the harsh glare she gave him.

"Ayo Kasiyah where on earth is your tissue paper?" yelled Sincere. "I'm finna go buy some more." and the door slammed shut.

Kasiyah rolled her eyes and opened the bag looking up to see Tremani's eyes on her as he licked his plump lips. She continued to open the bag and got out a ring box she opened it and her eyes met with a silver crown pandora ring.

"Oh my gosh, Tremani you didn't have to do this, it's so pretty." she squealed leaning over to him wrapping her arms around his neck taking in his scent.

It took Tremani by surprise but he just hugged her back lightly resting his arms on her lower back.

"It was just to say thank you, you helped me grow as a person and I'm thankful for that." he said looking at her making Kasiyah smile.

"Tremani your so sweet, you didn't have to buy any of us anything but you did."

"Yeah I know, but my mama told me to never come over to somebody's house empty handed even when I don't like them so you know."

"Don't act like you don't like me, you love me and you know it." she cooed raising her eyebrow and folding her arms.

"Girl if you don't shut the hell up, where my bed at, Im tired."

"Your on it." she said staring at the sofa. "It's a sofa bed, get up and I'm going to fix it for you."

He got up and she fixed it for him slightly bending over to get under the sofa making Tremani look at her, she didn't have the biggest butt but there was something.

"Here you go, blankets are there, tv remote is there, kitchen is there, showers upstairs you can go before I go and your sorted."

"Thank you Kasiyah."

"No problem.", she said.

Kasiyah lay in her room scheduling her day. Tomorrow she had to go to work in the office and see Denise and then her and Aniyah were going out. While the kids were in school she wanted to take Tremani out for a bit to see the city.

Tremani dozed off with once understanding, that he'd find TK and he'd find him quick, this city was small and he knew it inside out. He was going to meet with Jude later on and he also decided to call Herb in the morning as he was too tired.
