"Come here, what you mad for?" Kareem asked stifling a laugh.

"It's not funny Kareem" Skai huffed stomping up the stairs.

He laughed then followed after her.

"Bae I'll go and buy you more" he said getting into the bed with her.

She rolled her eyes and pushed him off of her "i don't care, you shouldn't have ate it."

"Ight since you don't care lemme leave you alone and not go get it" he said standing up causing her to rush after him.

"Wait" Skai huffed putting her Yeezy slides on and following after him.

He watched her come down the stairs and laughed as he grabbed his keys.

"Now when we get in this Target don't look at nothing, touch nothing, and DO NOT ask for nothing" Kareem said eyeing her.

Target was one of her favorite stores, she could literally spend 2 hours in there and find something from almost every aisle.

Skai laughed and followed him out the car.

He picked her up and placed her in the cart "Kareem I am too big for this"

He ignored her and sped through the aisles until they got to the frozen section.

"Get the ice cream and let's go" she smiled and picked two cartons.

"Kareem I need to pick one other thing up" she told him getting out the cart.

He nodded "Ight let's go"

"NO" she accidentally yelled "No, I need to get pads and other personal items"

He eyed her "Girl I done bought your pads before we can go together"

She shook her head "Just lemme get it by myself please"

He nodded "Ight imma go pay for the ice cream"

They went in different directions with Kareem heading to the register and Skai heading to the personal care and feminine products section, but not for pads.

"You got what you needed?" Kareem asked mugging her as he unlocked the car doors.

She nodded and got in "What you get? Cause it wasn't no pads"

"Here you go" she rolled her eyes.

"Yea here I go, ion like how you moving" he said speeding off.

"Firstly you can slow down and secondly I'm not moving like nothing. You don't gotta know everything gimme some privacy" she told him.

He nodded and hurried home.

Once they got inside Skai walked to the bathroom and locked the door causing Kareem to scrunch his face up more.

After 20 minutes he knocked on the door "Aiza why the door locked?"

"H-hold on" she said wiping her face.

She stared at the test that said .

"You okay mamas? I ain mean to get mad earlier" he said causing her to laugh.

"I'm okay Kareem, I'm gonna unlock the door and you can come in" she told him.

Once he came inside he looked at her in confusion. She smiled and put the test in his hands.

"This for real?" He asked.

She playfully rolled her eyes "Nah for fake"

He smiled and pulled her into a hug. "I love you so much cuh"

"I love you too" she laughed.

"How far you think you is?" He asked putting her on the counter then stepping in between her legs.

"The test saying 5-8 weeks" she answered.

"I made an appointment for tomorrow, you busy?" She asked.

He shook his head "Nah, imma clear the whole day. We telling anyone?"

"No, I wanna wait til I'm out my first trimester. We can tell your mom, my dad, and Maya" she told him.

He nodded "That's really all I was thinking"

He smiled again "You really having my baby"

"Hmmmm" the ultrasound tech sounded as she scrunched up her face and looked at the screen.

Kareem and Skai exchanged a look "What you mean hmMmM, what's wrong wit my baby?" Kareem asked.

She straightened up her face "Oh nothing, I'm new so let me get your doctor"

Shortly after Skai's doctor came in and smiled "Good news, nothing is wrong with the baby. You are just a little farther then expected so we can see the gender"

They both relaxed "Would you guys like to know the gender?"

"I don't really wanna gender reveal" Skai told him.

"Ight we wanna know" Kareem answered.

"It's a boy" the doctor smiled causing the two to smile.

They didn't really care about the gender but a son was something they've both always wanted.

"You thought of names yet?" Kareem asked as they laid in the bed.

"Mmm Mark?" Skai suggested causing Kareem to scrunch up his face.

"Stop watching that show. Ion see how you watched 17 seasons of folks in a hospital"

She rolled her eyes "Please mind yours, you got sum better?"

"Jelani " he told her, she thought about it and smiled.

"I kinda like it, JELANI BRING ME THE REMOTE" Skai yelled causing him to mug her.

"I'm practicing" she said laughing at him.

He shook his head and rubbed her stomach "Mommy crazy" he said causing the baby to start kicking.

She smiled as he looked shock "He done that before?" Kareem asked.

"Yea a few times, especially when I'm in the shower" she told him.

"You wasn't fucking wit daddy or sum? Why you ain kick for me before?" The baby just kicked some more.

"What it feel like when he kick?" Kareem asked.

Skai shrugged "I don't really know how to describe it"

"We need to start getting his stuff ready, you already 4 months and we ain know" Kareem said.

"Okay super dad, I'll start putting stuff in the cart and find a planner for the baby shower" she told him.

He nodded "Can we go shopping right now?" He asked excitedly.

She laughed "I mean yea, can we do it online tho? I'm kinda not in the mood to get up"

"Yea reach me my computer"

"Name?" The guard asked Skai as she went through the scanner.

"Aiza Montgomery"

"Okay wait here and we'll have a guard transport you to the visitation area" the guard told her.

She nodded and nervously rubbed her stomach as she waited. This wasn't her first time here since she visited her dad a lot. Nevertheless she was still nervous, she never thought she'd be back here to see anyone.

"Ms.Montgomery? C'mon" Skai shakily got up and followed the guard.

Once she arrived she sat on the other side of the glass and picked up the phone.

"I just wanna know why? You promised not to let things ever get like this, I'm pregnant I need you" Skai said as her eyes threatened to let tears fall.
