"I packed them an extra set of clothes just in case they get them dirty. What you got planned?" Mia asked as she was putting their backpacks on them.

"I rented out a water park for the day," Key said as Eli took off running after her cousins.

"You gone watch three kids all by yourself at a water park?" Mia raised her eyebrows, she wasn't too sure that Key could handle it.

"Ima see if Lay wanna come." He didn't seem as into the conversation as he usually was.

"What's going on Key?" Mia asked crossing her arms over her chest.

"I did a DNA test on Eli and she's not mine. Lay gone sign over her rights for her." He said bluntly, he didn't even like talking about it. Mia didn't look surprised at all.

"I knew it. I mean do you blame Lay? What are you going to do?" Mia knew from the jump that Eli wasn't Key's but she was just going to let them do them.

"What you mean you knew? Ima find Brittany's ass. She can figure it out from there. I mean Eli got a lil lock on my heart but the one she calls mom doesn't even want her .. what I'm supposed to do?" He asked her, she shrugged her shoulders. This was a tough one.

"See why she doesn't want to keep Eli and go from there. You have plenty of help Key. Even if she doesn't wanna keep her. Knowing Lay though, there's probably something deeper."

"Mm." Key wasn't trying to hear it. Something else was bothering him too.

"What is it?" Mia looked him up and down, he still didn't look relieved.

"She lied to me. She said she was away at a retreat and then gone post this." Key showed her the screenshot he had on his phone.

"Maybe because she thought you'd hurt her or something?" Mia had seen that too and had an idea of who it was but at the same time she didn't.

"Nah. Ain't no reason for her to keep lying to me." He scoffed, Key tried to keep it play but no lie he really couldn't.

"Markeyvius. Just talk to the girl, damn. Kids come on." Mia called out so Key could take them on their adventure. She was going to get to the bottom of it.

Lay sat on the couch with her feet up as Golden rubbed cocoa butter on her stomach and periodically fed her grapes. They watched Abbott Elementary which was Lay's favorite show at the moment.

"I don't know how she was a principal." Lay laughed watching the tv show.

Lays phone began to ring, and she looked over at the caller ID fuck nigga. She huffed before picking up to answer and putting him on speaker.

"Yes, Markeyvius?" Lay huffed into the phone.

"I got three lil people who want you to spend the day with us." He sighed into the phone, Key didn't like putting his pride to the side when it came to her. There was silence over the phone, Golden looked over at Lay to see what she was going to do.

"What three kids?" Lay questioned, Golden already knew how this conversation was going to go.

"Tre Tre, Aria, and Eli."

"Aw, you got all my babies. Here I come. You downstairs?" Lay sat up quickly, causing Golden to smack her lips.

"Bring a swimsuit and a change of clothes we going to the water park." Right, when she was about to respond he hung up on her. Just like she did him.

"So you gone go?" Golden asked her, she felt like Lay was taking a step back.

"We have to co-parent. Sometimes we're going to have to do stuff with Eli together. Plus, Mia already asked me to help him." Golden tried to be understanding but something gave her a bad feeling.

"Yup. Aight. Hit me later." Golden got up from the couch.

"No kiss or nothin'?" Lay asked pouting, Golden pecked her lips before she went into her room.

"Bout time," Key mumbled as Lay walked outside of her house. She ignored his remarks and opened the backseat door and saw three kids snap their heads in her direction.

"Lay Lay!" Aria and Tre Tre got so excited when they saw her face.

"Mommy. I miss you." Eli clapped her hands with excitement.

"I missed you more snookies. Hi guys, you ready to have some fun?" Lay asked getting the kids excited, they all three nodded their heads. One thing Key admired about her, she knew how to touch children's hearts.

She got into the car placing her bag on the floor in between her legs.

"Hey, baby dad." She waved small at him while putting her seat belt on.

"Hey, baby mom." He mimicked her wave looking her over. She had a little glow to her.

"If you want to have an attitude ima go back in the house." She threatened but the kids started to whine.

"Be nice to my girlfriend cousin Key!" Tre Tre demanded, Lay thought it was cute that he tried to defend her honor.

"Right. What he said." Aria backed him up.

"Yeah!" Eli screamed even though she had no idea what was going on.

Lay and Key started laughing as he pulled out of the gated community. Eventually, the kids fell asleep, and Lay hummed along to the music that played through his radio.

"You can sing?" A smile threatened the corner of Keys lips.

"You tell me." She said grabbing his phone to click on YouTube. Lay turned on an instrumental to Summer Walker's Unloyal' and sang it to him.

"I ain't taking yo shit today, no, I ain't taking yo shit tomorrow, no, we can do it might way, so I ain't sticking around no mo." At a red light, he looked at her while she sang.

"Cause you just wanna play with my heart and oh, I seen you with the girl at the party, oh." She rolled her eyes and her neck while she sang those lyrics.

"You think I'm just gone stand on by and watch you waste my time? Boy, I am way too fine." Lay cheesed knowing how fine she was, Key leaned his elbow on the armrest. He licked his lips at her as he looked her up and down.

"And is." He mumbled, pressing the gas so they could go forward. Key shook his thoughts from his head.

Once her song went off Key decided to take matters into his own hands. At the next stop light, he put a song on that immediately came to his mind.

"I just keep thinking about you, I mean I wanna move on but I can't move on. It's like you got some kinda hold on me, and I don't know but I'm gonna go ahead and talk about it." If there was one way Key knew how to express himself it's through music.

"I'm sitting looking out the window like damn. Tryna fix the situation that's at hand. You're still running through my mind when I know you shouldn't be." Lay looked up from the floor at him, the passion that he had in his voice while he rapped along to the lyrics made her want to smile but she couldn't show him.

"I've been running round with another chick, I'm single and they loving it. I'm liking it but I just want the one that I was in love with." Those little lyrics sent him into a whirlwind. He went down a whole trail of thoughts while Lay just stared at him wondering how everything went downhill with them.

"I remember everything me and you talked about. Me and you had our whole life planned out together. And if I could I would turn back the hands of time and correct all of my mistakes, that I ever did. But now I guess I gotta move on right? It's still hard and I still love you to this day." Lay didn't break her hold from looking at him. Instinctively she stroked his chin with her hand.

"What girl damn." He smacked his lips, he tried to push the thought of her and Black to the back of his mind.

"Aight. See you always have to ruin a good vibe. Just turn the music back on." She snatched her hand back.

They arrived at great wolf lodge and the parking lot was empty. Key had bought it out for a few hours so the kids wouldn't be swimming in everybody else's water.

"Wake up babies!" Lay said as she grabbed her bag, Key took it from her hands and put it on the cart to carry all their stuff.

"Are we here?" Tre Tre asked as he rubbed his eyes and looked around.

"Yes, we are. Can you unbuckle you and your sister?" Lay asked him he nodded his head before doing so.

"Okay, before we get out of this car. You don't go anywhere without cousin Key or I okay? We do everything together and we play nice. We have this whole thing to ourselves. We all understand?" The three nodded their little heads before getting out of the car.

"Grab hands," Lay said sticking hers out.

"I wanna hold Lay Lay's hand." Tre Tre latched onto her like a newborn baby being breastfed. Key chuckled at his little cousin. After they got into their hotel room and changed into their swim clothes they all went into the swimming area.

"Mommy. Up." Eli said and Lay obliged. Lay wore an illusion bikini set in green from her bestie Jasmine's Waydamin collection. She didn't expect to be pregnant this year and he told her last minute so she couldn't get more appropriate. Lay walked with the kids ahead of Key.

He couldn't help but look, with the baby she was carrying she was beginning to fill out even more. Pregnancy looked good on her, that was for sure.

"Damn." He shook his head as they walked through 1 21water park doors. Chlorine was prevalent there, - of course. Key knew these kids would be knocked out within the hour.

"You say something?" She asked letting the kids head toward the water.

"You ain't have another swimsuit?" He scratched the back of his head looking at her.

"No, it's winter Key. On top of you telling me about this last minute." She eyed the kids as they splashed and played around for a little bit.

Lay, who had a waterproof case on took pictures of the kids to send to their mother.

"Huh, I'll take a pic of all y'all." A life guard stated, as always they were under an NDA. Lay handed her phone to him and the kids stood in front of her belly as they posed goofily in the pictures. He handed her phone back to her.

"You ever thought about modeling? That swim suit look real good on you." Key snatched the fuck out of the nigga who said that. Then realized he was under scrutiny and let him go.

"Don't check for her." Was all he said before walking away.

Even if she wanted to chase him she wasn't. The kids acted like nothing happened and they all continued to play their hearts out. Leaving Lay to wonder what it was that made him that mad.

Markeyvius had a thing against staying in hotels that were near where he lived. So the kids changed back into their regular clothes until they got home.

"I'll be back, ima go pick up the pizza." He told Lay as he pulled up to his house.

"When you gone take me home?" Lay asked him, she didn't plan on spending the night.

"Oh shit. Whenever you want." Key shrugged.

"Nooo don't go Lay Lay. Spend the night with us so we can have a movie night and stay up all night." Tre Tre said while he clapped, the kids were wide awake and Lay wanted to keep it that way.

Chalynn went back and forth with herself, she was unsure for many reasons; Golden being included. The kids were going to be here so she didn't think it would be an issue nor did she believe they would mess around or anything like that especially since he literally said he would never touch her again.

"Okay okay. Y'all got y'all's bags? Cause it's bath time before cousin Key comes back with the pizza." For some reason Key was relieved to hear that.

"You got any lil cravings or something while I'm out?" He asked, aww look at him being thoughtful.

"Mm, ice cream. Pick a flavor. Come on kiddies." She said before getting out of the car and walking into his house.

She started with Tre Tre in the shower, he preferred showers over baths because his dad told him sitting in the was just sitting in his own filth.

"You're so handsome Tre. Did you have a good time today?" She smiled at him, he nodded his head yes.

"Thank you, are you and my cousin Key gonna get married?" Tre asked as she scrubbed him down.

"I don't think so baby. Why do you ask me that?" Lay raised her eyebrow at the little boy.

"He protected you at the pool today. Like my daddy did with my mama. Plus y'all got kids. I would be sad if y'all didn't." He began to frown.

"Cousin Key might want to marry somebody else. So how bout this, I'll be around no matter what okay? I pinky swear." Lay held out her soapy pinky and watched as the little boy stuck his out. She kissed his forehead and began to wash his little body off.

"I love you Lay Lay. My mommy says you are kind, so when cousin Key stops protecting you, I will. Like I do for my mommy and sissy." He then kissed her forehead and she just about melted.

Once she got him moisturized, and his hair combed with his pjs on she realized she had two more to do.

"Close your eyes Ari." Lay instructed as she rinsed out the shampoo from the little girls hair.

"Did you enjoy your time today sis?" Lay asked as she wiped her face clean.

"I loved it. You guys are the best. I can't wait until the new baby gets here." Aria said splashing in the water.

"What do you think I'm having?" Lay asked, she hadn't put too much thought into it lately but she was curious cause kids usually guessed right.

"I think it's a girl and you should name her, Brenda." She giggled, causing Lay to laugh as well.

"I'm not naming my baby that old lady name." The two girls laughed.

"Fineee .. what about Key'Or?" Lay scrunched her face up.

"Ari where you coming up with these names?" Chalynn asked drying the little girl off, she helped her out of the tub.

"I made them up." Aria shrugged as they went to the bedroom to get her dressed. Lay moisturized her and slicked her hair up into a ponytail and braided it.

"Come on Elianna. You're up next." Lay picked her up and put her in the shower as well. It was just easier on her back.

"Missed you mommy." Eli said kissing her nose.

"I missed you more. You having fun with your cousins?" Lay asked as she soaped the baby up, her back was hurting so she was beyond glad that this was the last kid.

"Yes. Love them." The rest of the bath was a silent one, she couldn't keep her emotions under control with her. Knowing that she might be giving her up to another woman to raise made her genuinely sad.

"Mommy, why sad?" Eli asked throwing a toy out of the shower.

"I just love you." Eli gave Lay a wet hug and she couldn't even be mad because she herself hadn't showered yet. When they had pulled away, Lay finished Eli's shower and continued the same routine that she had before with the other two children.

Key walked in at the right time, the whole bath thing process probably took about 35-40 minutes and he could tell that she was wore the hell out.

"Thank you for bathing them. I got you this butterfinger cheesecake pieces ice cream and Hawaiian pizza." Key was trying to be genuine, he did appreciate her help today.

"My faves! Thank you Markey. You can go shower while we eat, once you get out I'll get in." She smiled at him, she washed her hands so she could make the plates for the kids. She was a natural nurturer.

Boo?: yo you good?

"You sure?" He asked putting her ice cream in the freezer. She nodded her head as she called for the kids to come and eat. He wasted no time climbing up the stairs to rinse his day off.

"Say the grace Tre Tre." Lay instructed as they all bowed their heads.

"Thank you God for the food, for Key and Lay Lay. And my mommy and daddy and sissy and Eli and the new baby. Amen." Everybody said Amen with a little laugh but she thought it was cute.

"I ran you a bath. I know you must be tired." He stated, Lay raised her eyebrow at him, the kids were in the movie room.

"Why you being so nice?" She asked looking him up and down.

"I been goin to therapy. I'm trying." He shrugged walking passed her.

Key woke up from his sleep to the tv loudly playing Toy Story four. They started with number one like the kids wanted. Eli was sleep 30 minutes in, then Ari, Lay and Tre made it to the beginning of the second one. Once Woody got dropped out of the truck Key was sleeping.

Lay was sleep at the other end with her hair slicked up into a nice neat puff. She had on a maxi dress because she hated feeling restricted by clothing. Eli had her little arm wrapped around her stomach, next was Aria who was cuddling Eli and Tre was sleep on his back with one hand in his pants. The way his daddy used to sleep. Key took a flick and sent it to Mia.

Key turned off the television and walked out of the door to the home studio. Whenever he couldn't sleep he liked being in the studio, that's where he came up with some of his best verses. Checking the time it was 1:30 in the morning.

About thirty minutes later Lay woke up, she was craving the ice cream he had gotten her. She saved it for this specific moment too.

She sat up and peeled Elianna's tiny hand off of her and replaced it with a pillow.

Lay turned the tv back on for soft background noise so they wouldn't hear her tiptoeing around the room. She grabbed her phone so that she could watch them on the baby monitor.

She closed the door and successfully sneaked down the stairs.

"Yummy." She squealed quietly as she grabbed her ice cream out of the freezer. The cold tile on the floor caused Lay to sit on the counter and just think about everything.

"Lord, just guide me. What should I do?" She sighed stuffing her face with the ice cream. She kicked her feet back and forth and did a happy dance. She had officially become that mom.

"Bout what?" Lay jumped out of her skin, she thought the Lord himself had come down and answered her question.

"Everything Markey. What you doing up?" She asked turning on the counter to see him.

"I've been up for about 30 minutes I went to the studio. Thought I heard big foot out here." He chuckled, she mushed his head playfully.

"Boy I know you not talking wit them long ass ski's you got." She shot back,the both of them looked at each other before they busted out laughing.

"I got you sumn else today too.." He had a gift bag behind his back and he handed it to her.

"Key, no. I can't accept anything from you." She shook her head, his motives seemed genuine but she wasn't quite sure.

"Girl here. Just open it." She reluctantly took the bag and opened it. He had bought a baby doppler, so she could listen to the baby's heartbeat whenever she wanted.

"Thank you. Wow. This was extremely thoughtful." She smiled whole heartedly at him, Lay took the last bite of her ice cream. She was about to throw her trash away but Key did it for her.

"I mean we can try it out right now." He suggested, she didn't mind doing that, it had been a few weeks since they had heard the heartbeat.

He helped her jump off the counter and then they went over to the couch. Lay put two pillows on the arm of the chair and laid her back and head on them. She lifted up her maxi dress to reveal her savage x fenty panties.
