Prince Andrew is aware of the reason why Beatrix did not get pregnant. It is because Beatrix was accidentally poisoned long ago! It happened when Lady Andrea brought her fourteen-year-old daughter, Beatrix to visit her friend, Lady Camila, Minister Roswell's main wife. Beatrix was tempted to eat Lady Camila's mouthwatering strawberry cake and that cake contained a non-lethal poison, which is tasteless, odorless, and undetectable by using a silver pin on it. Once the poison enters the body, it is undetectable by physicians mainly because the body of the victim will appear normal. All the internal organs will appear healthy when a physician checks the pulse but the victim will not be able to get pregnant her whole life! It is very rare, almost undetectable, and difficult to cure poison but are you going to look for a cure if you do not know that you are poisoned? It was truly a vicious scheme by one of Minister Roswell's concubines intended to make Lady Camila sterile unknowingly, except it was Beatrix who ate most of the strawberry cake!

Prince Andrew considered it very lucky that Beatrix was not able to finish eating the whole cake and brought some of it when she returned to the imperial palace. He was able to see it, smell it, and detect its strange content when he visited her, or else he will also wonder why they cannot have children when both of them are said to be healthy just like what is happening now between his Imperial Brother and Beatrix.
