Beatrix and Prince Anders became so busy with the final marriage preparations while Prince Andrew was busy sulking for two days. He stopped doing all his princely tasks and did not care whether his Imperial Father punished him or not!

Everything seems to repeat in his mind. Their memories are playing over and over again! Tormenting him! His stupid mind won't stop no matter how much he wants it to stop! He cannot sleep, rest, and eat well... He feels so down, depressed, and devastated deep inside as his foolish heart won't stop too! He felt like an idiot because even if she already abandoned him and dumped him, his whole being is still foolishly waiting for her... Longing for her... Loving her fully, madly, deeply, highly, and totally!!!

He recalled all their sweet interaction... All those happy memories, he remembers them all too well because they are very precious to him! As he recalled all of them, he became even more confused... Her loving facial expression, the excitement in her eyes, the happiness in her voice, her sweet words, and comforting actions are showing and speaking of pure honesty and sincerity!

Is she just an expert liar?

He suddenly remembered her last declaration of love...

"My Love, always remember that I, Beatrix Lamoreaux, love you, Andrew Sky, with all of my mind, body, heart, and soul!"

He interrogated many people before and he could always recognize whether they are lying, telling half-truths, telling white lies, and the most important is, if they are being truthful! Now that he thought it over, he finally realized that Beatrix is not lying to him!

But if she is not lying to me... What happened? Why did she choose my Imperial Brother instead? Did I do something wrong or did my Imperial Brother do something wrong?!!

At that moment, he thought deeper and recalled his imperial brother's strange behaviors.

Beatrix changed on the Selection Day... Our relationship was still okay the night before the Selection Day... Did something happen after I left that night?

He called his shadow spies and he assigned them to watch his imperial brother and investigate several things... After he heard their report, it seems like what Beatrix and his imperial brother did that night appears to be normal but his instinct told him that his hateful, shameless, cunning, and scheming imperial brother did something strange to Beatrix!

What did he do to my Beatrix that she changed so much overnight? Imperial Brother, if I found out that you did something wrong to her... Heh! You better start praying!!!

Prince Andrew had everything about his brother's activities secretly rechecked starting from when they are still young up to the most recent ones. He tripled the number of his men assigned to this tricky and dangerous task but it seems that his brother got a hold of this information or suspected that he is trying to dig something...

On the third day, Prince Andrew received an edict from the Emperor stating that he is ordered to depart that day to Solaris Empire! He will become an important representative of the Sky Imperial Family. He will need to stay there until the Imperial Treaty between Sky Empire and Solaris Empire is completed!

This looks like a normal task for a prince but Prince Andrew knew better... The journey from the capital to the port of Sky Empire will require more than a month depending on the horses' speed plus the sea voyage from the port of Sky Empire to the port of Solaris Empire will require at least another four months so the journey alone going to Solaris Empire and back to the capital of Sky Empire will require almost a year! Plus, who knows how much time is needed to convince the Emperor of Solaris Empire to sign that treaty! This is a deliberate attempt of his imperial brother to make him disappear from the scene for a very long time or forever!

This means he is nervous and guilty of something! Imperial Brother, ah, Imperial Brother, you are very desperate to cover your dirt!

Before Prince Andrew was forced to go to Solaris Empire, he wrote a secret letter to Beatrix asking her to meet him secretly in person. He wants to convince her to run away with him to Solaris Empire. If she agrees then he will forget the throne since he has secret houses, businesses, and people in Solaris Empire. They will not be as luxurious as an Emperor and Empress but they can still live a happy, peaceful, and comfortable life together with their future children.
