Prince Anders continued trashing his things as he recalled all their happy memories together... The servants are shaking in Prince Anders' courtyard. This is the first time that they witnessed their gentle prince's scary and violent side! They are all utterly surprised and afraid while beads and beads of cold sweat trickled down on their bodies. After his courtyard was transformed into a sorry state and in his desperation, Prince Anders withdrew the book called Dark Arts!

I cannot lose Beatrix! Imperial Brother, you can have the throne but Beatrix is mine! She is only mine!

He tediously searched in the 'Spells' section for anything that could help him with his current situation. It took a considerable amount of time before he finally found something very interesting! He read that section eagerly... Aside from waiting for its perfect timing and gathering all the requirements, everything is easy for him!

At that moment, Prince Anders laughed maniacally, making all the servants and guards shiver from fear and foreboding feeling... He signaled for his shadow guards to appear and he gave several instructions to them before they disappeared like ghosts ready to do their master's bidding.

Finally, he ordered his servants to secretly clean and fix his courtyard, throw all the unusable things, and completely replace them that night! He warned them that none of his violent outbursts will come out or else, they already know what will happen to them and their loved ones...

In the end, I will have the last laugh!

When morning came, Prince Andrew and Prince Anders waited in front of Beatrix's courtyard. Prince Andrew is suspiciously looking at his very solemn imperial brother. He knew about his brother's violent outburst last night as well as the reason. His brother is not speaking to him and remained silent as they waited for Beatrix to finally come out. Prince Anders returned to his calm and gentle appearance. He flashed Beatrix his usual happy and attractive smile when he saw her approaching them.

"Beatrix, I am very sorry about yesterday! It was not easy for me so I overreacted. I thought about what you told me. It still hurts but I am okay now... Can we go back to the way we used to be?" He smoothly told her as if what he did last night is only an illusion or bad dream.

Beatrix stared at him. It is strange that he could easily let go but she thought it is probably the best for everyone that he could immediately let go of her and move on...

"Sure!" Beatrix happily agreed while seeing his carefree and vibrant smile. Last night, she was so sad and worried about him. If she could, she does not want to hurt him but she needs to choose and set proper expectations soonest. Now, she is so thankful that his kind and cheerful personality helped him overcome the pain and immediately accept and respect her decision.

"Last night, I thought deeply and seriously..." Prince Anders looked at his brother and to the surprise of everyone, he kneeled and prostrate in front of his brother. "Imperial Brother, I apologize for making things difficult for you. I know my mistakes... Can you forgive me?"

Several eunuchs, servants, and imperial guards passed by the area. They are secretly giving looks of pity and sympathy towards their kind and generous second prince. In their eyes, the stone-hearted and iceberg first prince is bullying his imperial brother again!

Too bad, I could not do anything to help Prince Anders but the Emperor could! I hope the Emperor will realize how evil and merciless his first son is even to his imperial brother! I wish the Emperor will support Prince Anders' ascension to the throne instead!

The people in the surroundings uniformly thought because they prefer the kind, gentle, approachable, and generous Prince Anders than the highly intelligent, talented, and capable, yet very domineering and ruthless Prince Andrew! They devised methods on how this news will anonymously reach the Emperor...

Beatrix was surprised by what Prince Anders did! Her heart immediately ached for him. She knew how hard and humiliating it is for a prince like him to humble himself like a servant so she gave Prince Andrew a pleading gaze of 'Please, do not let your brother do this any longer... He is so pitiful!'

Prince Andrew secretly gritted his teeth and clenched his hands as his imperial brother prepared another simple yet effective trap! If he make him stay that way for a long time, would not these people in the surroundings report him to his Imperial Father, who favored his imperial brother more? He will suffer greatly and miserably again since his brother is an expert kiss-ass and bootlicker towards their Imperial Father! If he is probably not more intelligent, talented, and promising than his imperial brother, their Father Emperor will surely name his imperial brother as the crown prince long ago!
