Beatrix felt her captor abruptly stop then effortlessly helped her stand on the ground while supporting her weak and dizzy form, preventing her from collapsing to the ground.
"Imperial Brother, why are you tailing us? I do not remember that I invited you." Her captor smoothly said to the approaching Prince Andrew.
"I was not informed that you changed from being a prince to a lowly abductor now." Prince Andrew glared dangerously at his imperial brother who dared to abduct Beatrix out of the imperial palace.
Beatrix cannot help but throw angry scoldings to the laughing Prince Anders as he began to undress the guard's armored uniform, revealing intricate clothing underneath. This man gave her a serious fright!
"Beatrix, do not be mad... Look! You injured me severely..." He showed her the deep teeth marks on his palm.
"You deserved it for being such a lowly scumbag!" Prince Andrew told his brother and glared dangerously.
Prince Anders ignored his brother's words and glare as he focused on the angry Beatrix, giving her a gentle yet playful smile.
"You said that you want adventure and excitement..." Prince Anders grinned mischievously.
"Hmph! This is not the type of adventure or excitement that I am talking about!" She angrily exploded while still feeling the headache after experiencing the fear, shock, surprise, and dizziness that she felt a while ago.
"Beatrix, let us go back before they noticed our sudden absence." Prince Andrew encouraged her to go back to the imperial palace but before she could say 'Yes', Prince Anders immediately reminded her.
"I thought you would like to have a nice stroll outside the palace, see the entire capital, purchase some interesting merchandise, and sample different food..." Prince Anders deliberately emphasized the word 'food' because Beatrix is one great foodie with a big appetite! If possible, she will have an affair with delicious meals!

"Okay! Let us stroll!" She was immediately tempted.
Prince Anders knew everything about her. He knows her favorites, likes, dislikes, plans, dreams, and many other things. He knew it by heart, that is why he could easily get her approval and tempt her most of the time.
"Beatrix, it is prohibited and dangerous to stroll outside the palace especially without Imperial Father's consent." Prince Andrew warned her.
"Who said about not having Imperial Father's consent?" Prince Anders smoothly declared and proudly showed them his imperial token to go out. "Imperial Father said I could go out and go back anytime I want and I could bring whoever I want." He smiled gently towards his brother but Prince Andrew knew the meaning of that smile. "I chose to bring Beatrix... What about you Imperial Brother, do you also have permission to go out?"
When Beatrix heard it, she felt worried about Prince Andrew. She remembered the last time Prince Andrew angered the Emperor, she does not want him to suffer again.
"Andrew, do you also have the token to go out?" She immediately asked.
"Of course." He replied and showed her his token. He requested that token to his Imperial Father after he heard from Beatrix that she wants to go out and stroll like a normal lady in the capital. He would like to surprise her today after their hide-and-seek. It is just a pity that his imperial brother beat him to it!
"Great! Then, let us go together!" She happily exclaimed and grabbed both Prince Andrew and Prince Anders at the same time towards the marketplace!
The twin brothers would like to protest that they would not want to stroll in the streets if there is an annoying and uninvited tag along but they decided to shut up when they saw her happy expression and excited action as she is dragging them both to the place where many people are gathering together.

The two brothers glared at each other and secretly gritted their teeth in annoyance. When they acquired the token, they imagined strolling with Beatrix alone! Who would have thought that an annoying pest will come along?!! But they decided to cooperate in the meantime if it means that Beatrix will be so happy!
The three entered to where most people are gathering. In the entrance, the three very tall, attractive, and noble newcomers immediately got the attention of everyone. Beatrix immediately enchanted the men in the surroundings while the women were smitten by the two extremely handsome twin brothers beside her...

His plan was to gain knowledge, power, and maybe influence. Then he would return. One night he simply vanished in the darkness, away from his father’s claws. Will he succeed? That is hard to tell. The immortal world is an unforgiving place, even worse than earth. It’s just that Blair doesn’t know that yet. Can he survive there, and gain a footing in the new era of qi and godly hermits? Only time will tell, and Blair has to fight for every minute. Authors note: Give the story a try. It’s my personal blend of qi, cultivation, and struggles of morality and power. If I can deliver on all that is another question, but I will give it my best. As a further note, I am not using any of the usual strict realms and extreme power differences. It’s more about gathering and refining qi. Whoever uses his chances, sneak attacks, intuitions, and skills in a better way wins. However, having more or better qi will help, but I am not at a point where I have written a lot of that, so I might promise too much. Driven by hurricanes in the Pacific basin, uncontrolled wildfires burned through towns, destroying everything in their paths. Across the Pacific, Asia didn't escape. From the Philippines, across China, into Indochina, and Bangladesh and India. Typhoons and cyclones pounded the coasts and far inland. Widespread flooding forced millions from their homes and across international borders. Mexico was hit hard and thousands died in mudslides as Katia slammed into their East Coast. The refugees fled north and west. Rumours started that hundreds of thousands were headed for the US border. Instead of running out of steam in the southern US, several hurricanes tore up the eastern seaboard, devastating cities and renewing their strength before veering east across the Atlantic. Maria and Ophelia veered east and slammed into Europe, reaching as far as the Netherlands and Russia before finally dissipating. After that, too many weather stations were offline to provide any form of co-ordinated information or warnings. Wildfires in Portugal burned ahead of the storms, fanned by hurricane winds. They sparked wildfires leapfrogging across Europe, beyond any one country's ability to cope. Already uneasy from multiple terrorist attacks over the summer, anti-refugee groups seized the opportunity to stage protests across Europe. Some turned violent as they clashed with police forces. Several governments declared martial law to quell the rioting and enforce evacuations along the path of the storms. Rumour and speculation overwhelmed facts. Unrest spilled over into widespread violence. Then sickness broke out in the displaced populations. Within a matter of a dozen weeks, tens of millions died. In the coming winter months hundreds more would follow. The Designated Project was activated.
