Prince Andrew was surrounded by many people. He happily accepted the praises and appreciations of his Imperial Father, Imperial Mother, and different powerful individuals but he is waiting for a certain someone to praise, appreciate, and congratulate him!

Where is she? Why is she not here with me? Is she not happy and proud of my accomplishment?

He sadly and confusedly thought. He turned his head in different directions, trying to scan the entire hall for her presence and find her. He wants to see her! He wants to see her reaction! He frowned his brow as he immediately realized that she is no longer inside the hall! He also noticed that his imperial brother is also not inside the hall!

Are they together instead?!!

It felt like someone stabbed his heart several times! His happiness from winning the event was replaced by extreme anger, pain, disappointment, and jealousy as he thought of her being with his brother instead! He secretly gritted his teeth and his hands clenched involuntarily. He tried to hide his negative feelings in front of other people happily saying their praises and appreciations to him...

I do not need other people's praises and appreciation! Beatrix, where did you go? Are you not happy for me? Are you not proud of me?

When he could no longer control his emotions, he lied to the people in front of him and told them that he needs to go back to his courtyard and rest early! It was very rude and probably detrimental to his plan to gather as many supporters as he could to secure the throne but he does not care anymore! He is about to explode so soon and he does not want to explode in front of these people because if that happens...

He knows what will happen and he could enumerate a list of probable consequences! Consequences that he needs to avoid so that his two-faced, white lotus, sly fox imperial brother will not win against him!

He obtained the approval of the Emperor and Empress then he immediately leave the hall. He needs to find Beatrix soonest! He found them but the scene in front of him broke his heart into several small pieces!

His heart darkens and his mind immediately follows...

His face seems cold and indifferent as he watched them so close together...

Closely looking at each other...

Happily smiling at each other...

Comfortably talking to each other...

Intimately touching and hugging each other...

Now, the last shred of restraint shattered!

He begins to tremble violently from a mixture of different negative feelings! Anger, pain, fear, jealousy, anxiety, insecurity, disappointment, helplessness, depression, and many other feelings that he could not name anymore!

His eyes turned several shades darker and several degrees colder... The calm, rational, and intelligent side of him were suddenly thrown into the drain as he unsheathed the precious sharp dagger his Imperial Father gifted him for winning the event!

He forgot about reasons! He forgot about logic! He forgot about the consequences!

He will eliminate the competition now! He will kill his two-faced, white lotus, the sly, cunning, scheming imperial brother who always framed and laid traps for him!

This day will be dyed with his blood spilling on the ground!

This day will end as his cursed existence will also end!

I, Andrew Sky, First Prince of Sky Empire will kill him now!

I will put an end to this competition now!

I will destroy the hindrance between me and Beatrix!

He thought darkly as he indifferently and steadily approach them... He hid the sharp dagger behind his back, very determined to terminate the pest in his life! He will destroy the highest, strongest, and thickest wall between Beatrix and him!

He is already close when Beatrix saw him coming... She happily flashed Prince Andrew her beautiful smile and immediately separated from Prince Anders! He froze as he saw her happily smiling and running towards him! All his dark thoughts and negative emotions suddenly disintegrated when he realized what she is about to do! He panicked as he is still holding the dagger in his hand!

She must not find out!

In a split second, he secretly and immediately flicked away the dagger towards the direction of the nearby flowering plants to his left side. He prayed that no one noticed as he threw it!

Beatrix ran towards him and gave him a very warm and tight embrace! She gently looked at him in the eyes and into his soul, giving him unexplainable great feelings! She smiled from ear-to-ear at him!

"Andrew, congratulations on winning the event! I am so happy for you! All your preparations paid off!" She grinned proudly.

Suddenly, his dark thoughts and emotions vanished without any trace as he is already immersed into her magnetic green eyes, tantalizing voice, sweet fragrance, and irresistible warmth. He became speechless for a moment. He embraced her tightly as his eyes stared gently at her.
