Beatrix went back to the Solaris Imperial Palace. Just like the first time, Emperor Valentine waited for her at the entrance and she happily shared what happened to her first day of work as they eat their evening meal together. She noticed that Emperor Valentine's face became so gloomy after she told him everything, especially about Young Master Aurelius personally teaching her accounting and bookkeeping inside his office.

"Do not worry about me. My boss seems like a nice person." She told him thinking that Emperor Valentine is just worried about her safety and reputation.

"You do not know anything about him and you immediately thought that he is nice?!" He replied with clear annoyance.

"Why are you so judgemental to him? We also start as strangers before we became friends!" She replied vehemently.

It made him angrier but after he thought of their situation. He decided to calm himself. He cannot lose Beatrix's good impression of him. He will make her fall in love with him and slowly adapt to the life beside him.

"I apologize. I went overboard this time but it is because I am just worried about you..." He told her and masked his angry and jealous feeling deep inside his heart.

"I understand. I assure you that if he displays any suspicious and repulsive behavior, I will immediately quit. Okay?" She told him and gently squeezed his hands like appeasing a jealous husband.

Beatrix did not know why she did it. It was probably out of habit. She usually did that gesture to appease Andrew, Anders, and Zander when they are displaying jealousy. It was her assurance that there is nothing to be jealous of. She dismissed the idea as something that is extremely ridiculous! How could she compare Valentine to her previous husbands? But regardless, it appears that what she did is so effective because Emperor Valentine's mood suddenly changed to something cheerful and fluffy now. He smiled at her as his face lit up. He gently squeezed her hands too.

"Okay. Always remember that I am here for you. I will protect you." He sincerely told her.

Beatrix went to bed so early as she still has work tomorrow morning. This time, she is integrated into another strange and realistic dream. She was very surprised when she saw events that she could not remember but she recalled that she did not acquire the memory of her younger version in the fourth lifetime so it was very hard to pretend and act natural when she took over of the body. Finally, she figure it out that these events that she cannot remember are the lost memories of the young Beatrix in the fourth lifetime before she angrily took a hold of the body and claimed it as her fourth chance!

She found herself so attracted to the scenes like a moth to the flame and could not stop herself from getting closer. The attraction and temptation are too strong for her! She cannot refuse it and she also does not want to stop herself from revisiting another past...

Prince Andrew and Prince Anders were conceived at the same time, shared the same womb at the same time, and arrived in the world on the same day. They were given the same love from their parents, the same high treatment and respect from the others, and were given all the same things from the day that they were born.

Six years later, they saw little Beatrix for the first time! Like the previous lifetimes, their hearts beat so fast as they stared intently at this very beautiful little girl. For some reason, they are immensely drawn towards her as their mind and heart were immediately tied to her in that fateful first meeting!

Previously, they are entirely aware that there is one thing that they could not share as twin brothers. They thought it is the throne but after they met her, they immediately realized that their fate and relationship as brothers were destined to be slowly corroded and eventually destroyed by the fierce and bloody competition!

But what are they competing for? Or is it, who are they competing for?

Is it to possess the throne together with its power and wealth? Or to obtain the love as well as the happiness and contentment it brings?

As twin brothers, can they have some sort of agreement?

To prevent bloody conflicts and disagreement, can they divide the benefits instead?

One can have absolute power and wealth while the other one can get love and happiness...

Will they be contented if each of them got one out of two?

Can they compromise and meet halfway?

Why choose if I can have both? The solution is very simple... I just have to defeat the rival! I am sorry, Imperial Brother! It is me who will win! It is me who will obtain everything! I will do whatever it takes! Nothing can stand in my way! No one can stop me!

They uniformly thought as they realized what is it that they truly want from that moment! And so, the fierce and bloody competition began or more likely, it repeats in another lifetime since the winner takes all!
