Every time he approached a noble and wealthy house, she prays that they will not employ him! If he could not find a job then he will remain homeless and cannot survive on his own but the most important is he will not have the money and resources to look for that woman named Beatrix!

Princess Gertrude wants him to stop looking for his dead fiancee because she loves him and wants to marry him! She is sure of her feelings although, Andy did not know about it yet. She wants him to forget that woman and go back to her! She wants him to love her and marry her! She does not care if he is a commoner and has no title, power, or wealth. She could ask her cousin, Emperor Valentine, to give her Andy a title after he married her. As a princess of Solaris Empire, she has both power and wealth so she is unconcerned about those two things!

What is so good about a dead woman anyway?!! I am very pretty, wealthy, and powerful!!! I am the better choice!!!

For several days, she was always in a good mood as his life is getting more and more difficult day by day. It only means that soon he will realize that he needs her and will soon come back to her!

It was expected since the nobles and wealthy people of the Solaris Empire will not employ a commoner without a backer but one day, she gritted her teeth as Andy successfully saved the life of her most hated person, Duke Zarral, and earned a huge amount of reward! She angrily wrung her handkerchief as Andy purchased a boat and several supplies. She cried and clenched her hands firmly as she saw him sail far away just to look for a dead person by himself!

Several miles away, Emperor Andrew received several reports from his dispatched groups of people from the different locations within the territories of both Sky Empire and formerly Cloud Empire.

When he marched outside of the capital of Sky Empire, he dispatched different groups of his secret people to look for his wife, Empress Beatrix, and brother, Prince Anders in different cities, towns, villages of Sky Empire that he and his main troops won't be able to check because those places are not along the way.

After he successfully entered the formerly Cloud Empire and claimed it as part or extension of Sky Empire, he also did the same. He sent different groups to different cities, towns, villages inside the territory of the former Cloud Empire to look for Beatrix and Prince Anders.

Emperor Andrew and his main troops stayed near the place where the capital of formerly Cloud Empire was situated to crush further resistance and rebellion against his sovereignty and claim in this newly added territory but more importantly, to wait for the reports about Beatrix and Prince Anders before he and his men set sail to Solaris Empire. He needs to be sure that the two people he is looking for are not inside the territories of Sky Empire or the formerly Cloud Empire. It will be too ridiculous and a waste of time and resources if he and his men set sail to Solaris Empire for several months in the ocean and only found out later that Beatrix and Prince Anders are just near.

For several days, he received different reports from different groups stating the same information. The reports indicated that his beloved wife, Empress Beatrix, and hateful imperial brother, Prince Anders are both not on their assigned search place. While waiting for other reports to arrive, he busied himself by rooting out all the nobles and commoners of the formerly Cloud Empire who did not swear allegiance and loyalty to him.

During this time, Emperor Andrew also received two letters containing congratulatory remarks for successfully conquering Cloud Empire and news from General Ardor and Minister Zander about the current security, political, economical, and social issues in the Sky Empire but overall the General and Minister assured him that everything is under their control. They also asked him about Beatrix.

Emperor Andrew furrowed his brow and twitched his lips after he read Minister Zander King's letter and mentally compared it to General Ardor Lamoreaux's letter...

General Ardor's letter started with a congratulatory remark and discussion of safety, security issues, and events in the capital then confident assurance that everything is under control before finally asking for any news about his daughter but Minister Zander's letter started with a congratulatory remark and immediately asked for any news about Beatrix before discussing the court and political issues and finally assure him that everything is under control.

Emperor Andrew threw General Ardor's letter to the flaming brazier to preserve its confidentiality but he crumpled Minister Zander's letter before setting it on fire using his internal energy, imagining that it is the owner of the letter he is burning in the fire instead!
