Beatrix secretly called one of the physicians to cure Alrick's injury. When she is sure that he is safe, she shamelessly begged him not to expose what truly happened. It is great that he agreed and kept his words.

After that incident, Beatrix was not able to see Prince Andrew! He did not show up during meals. He stopped attending their lessons. Beatrix was very worried after knowing that he also did not go back to his courtyard for several days. She asked the Emperor and Empress about Prince Andrew's whereabouts. They told her that he filed for indefinite vacation...

She tried to go back to her normal routine but she always unconsciously glance at his empty seat during their private lessons, making her unable to concentrate and listen attentively to the teachers...

Every meal feels lonely and unappetizing every time she sees that his seat is still vacant. It makes her unable to eat properly. Even her favorite foods and beverages lost their usual charm to her...

Her bed feels so big, cold, and desolate at night. Something is missing and she is unconsciously looking for it every night making her sleep very light and uncomfortable. She feels so cold as she could not find the usual warmth that is usually beside her! She feels unsafe without the familiar hug around her body! She feels uncomfortable as she could not breathe in the familiar masculine scent instantly lulling her to deep sleep...

After one week...

I wonder if Andrew is okay... Is he happy and comfortable where he is?

After two weeks...

Andrew, when will you be back? I miss you so much...

After three weeks...

Andrew, are you not coming back? I want to see you so bad...

She secretly wondered as tears keep falling from her eyes every night whenever she is alone... More days passed but still, he did not come back and she is beginning to become more stressed and depressed... She looks fine in front of other people but when she is alone, it is entirely a different story!

Exactly one month...

She is beginning to lose hope that he will come back! She wants to see him and be with him again but she needs to respect his decision. She needs to accept that he does not want her anymore! Even if the fear, pain, and loneliness are eating her inside, making her insane and slowly killing her... She needs to accept and slowly move on!

Andrew, do you hate me that much? I want you back... Please go back!

She uncontrollably sobbed on her bed until fatigue took over and she closed her eyes. She had a short dream showing her that Prince Andrew finally came back to her and just waiting for her to open the door! Her eyes opened and tears spilled again!

What a stupid dream! Andrew never needed me to open the door for him... He always shamelessly gets inside my bedroom and treats everything inside as his own!

Her heart broke as she thought of how ridiculous and how far from reality her dream was! She cried silently for a moment but finally, she gave in to the temptation and wiped away her tears. She stood up to check outside her door. She slowly yanked her bedroom door and her eyes widened from surprise!

Andrew is really standing outside her door! He is waiting patiently for her to open the door and welcome him... But there is something wrong! The person in front of her is Andrew but not exactly her Andrew!

Beatrix stared at him...

He is standing lifelessly. His current look is very untidy and very different from his usual proud, confident, regal, and hygienic appearance! The usual silky, straight, and jet-black hair is now so messy, sticky, tangled, and uncombed! His peerless handsome face is now deathly pale covered with some dirt, soot, and mud on it! The previously confident, intelligent, and domineering eyes now look empty and lifeless with very deep and dark circles underneath them! His usually soft and moist lips are very pale, chapped, and dry now! He looks thinner and weaker! His clothes are so sloppy and he is barefooted! Overall, he looks like a homeless man on the street that did not eat, sleep, and take a bath for a long time!!!

"Andrew? What happened to you?!!" Beatrix was so shocked after she saw a very different image of him.

He did not answer her question. He just silently stared at her then he embraced her before he fainted in her arms! All of his body weight leaned on her for support!

Beatrix screamed for help as she could not support his weight for a long time but she also does not want to drop him mercilessly on the ground while he is unconscious! Her servants helped her move him to her bathtub. There is no way she is going to allow him on her bed with that super filthy appearance!

She bathe him, washed his hair, and scrubbed his whole body to remove all the filth! She already finished the bathing process but he is still unconscious so she called his name several times to wake him up but his eyes remained close!
