"It is sister Beatrix, right?" Erica sadly replied and continued. "I know you love her and want to marry her but I am willing to become your secondary wife or even your concubine! As far as I know, it is allowed for you to have several wives and concubines."

"It does not mean that I am allowed, I would also want to do it. Like I said, my whole heart is already owned by her. It does not have any remaining spot for anyone else..." Prince Andrew seriously declared and continued. "Please, look for another man, Lady Erica. Do not waste your precious time with me..." He went away, leaving the crying girl alone. He is determined to keep his distance from now on!

Prince Andrew wants to collect important information and he believed that he could only get that information from the other women because Beatrix does not want to talk to him and is still very cold to him...

"Lady Marion, what type of man do you like and what sort of things that man should do to obtain your love?" He directly asked one of the noblewomen.

Lady Marion enthusiastically replied and gave him a dreamy look. After obtaining the answer, he thanked the lady and immediately went away!

He asked several young noblewomen, young commoner women, and young palace maids the same question and remembered their answers although there are some variations. The only thing that did not vary is their disgusting way of looking at him so after he obtained the needed information, he thanked them, and immediately went away!

Little did he know that his simple question-and-answer method will give rise to several twisted rumors that he is involved with several women at the same time! It is because after he asked them, these women spread to other people that Prince Andrew is interested in them! After all, he asked what type of man they like and the things a man should do to obtain their love!

The Emperor and Empress heard about these rumors. They were alarmed and worried that their imperial son will not honor the betrothal in the end! They need to personally ask him and remind him about the previous Emperor's last will!

"Son, we heard so many things about you these days. Tell me, do you want to break your betrothal with Lady Beatrix?" The Emperor seriously asked his son.

"Imperial Father, I do not want to break the betrothal! I want to marry Beatrix!" Prince Andrew immediately replied.

The Emperor indifferently looked at his son. He seems unconvinced with his words.

"Son, you do not need to hide your true feelings. You just need to tell us that you want to break your betrothal with Lady Beatrix. We could arrange another marriage for you!" The Empress explained to her son.

"Imperial Father and Imperial Mother, I am telling the truth! I want to marry Beatrix because I love her!" He told the truth but they seemed unconvinced.

"We know that we have been forceful to you. We realized our mistake and we made up our mind..." The Empress gently told him

"What do you mean by that?" His heart is racing wildly as he dreaded the possibility!

"We thought about it and we want our son to be happy and free! You could have another woman or several other women! Do not worry about Lady Beatrix because we will marry her off to Minister Martell's son!" The Emperor excitedly declared to his devastated son.

Prince Andrew felt that his world darkened and turned upside down after he heard his Imperial Father's words! He immediately kneeled in front of his parents!

"Imperial Father and Imperial Mother, I beg you not to marry her off to another man! Please, do not listen to those groundless rumors! I truly love Beatrix and I want to marry only her! I am willing to marry Beatrix now! Please, give me the blessing to marry her now!" Prince Andrew sincerely explained and almost kiss the floor as he begged his parents!

The Empress tried to stop herself from laughing out loud while the Emperor is scolding and threatening his son.

The truth is they just want to gauge their son's true feelings and opinion regarding the betrothal. They were very happy when they confirmed that this marriage arrangement is not a burden or only a call of duty to their son. Like other parents, they also want their son to be happy!

Prince Andrew did not leave his Imperial Father and Imperial Mother without getting their reassurance that his betrothal with Beatrix is still valid! He even made them promise to marry Beatrix only to him!!!

After their Imperial Son is out of sight, the Empress laughed heartily then said.

"I won the bet! How are you going to pay me?" She mischievously asked her Husband Emperor.

"Ahem! Can I pay you using my body?" He replied to her with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Okay, but I will tie you to the bed this time and I will take the lead!" The Empress excitedly agreed.
