On the first day, they toured around the east wing in the morning and the southeast wing in the afternoon. Beatrix discovered that her assigned room and Valentine's room are adjacent! Both massive rooms are in the east wing together with other eight huge luxurious rooms that are intended for Solaris imperial members. His large study room is also in the east wing. On the other hand, the southeast wing is filled with several midsize luxurious rooms for high-profile guests.

"Valentine, why is my room in the east wing? I am not a member of the Solaris Imperial family... I think it should be in the other areas of the palace like the southeast wing." Beatrix asked when she discovered that her assigned room is intended for Solaris imperial members.

"If I said it should be in the east wing, who would dare to say otherwise? It is empty anyway so stay there." He said haughtily but deep inside he is nervous that Beatrix will figure it out.

On the second day, they toured around the south wing in the morning and the southwest wing in the afternoon. Beatrix saw that the south wing has several small luxurious rooms probably for regular guests. When they reached the grand entrance of southwest wing, he smiled mischievously again.

"Beatrix, I am very sorry but only the Emperor and Empress of Solaris Empire are allowed to see what is in the southwest wing." He mysteriously told her.

"Oh, really?! Then, what are we still doing here? Let us proceed to other areas." She said and was about to go to another location but Emperor Valentine grabbed her hand and tugged her back towards the southwest wing.

"I am just joking! You easily believe it!" He said happily as he tugged her and guide her to the majestic entrance to the southwest wing. He unlocked the massive and artistic double door using a large golden key and she is amazed by what she saw!

Beatrix immediately realized that Emperor Valentine lied to her! It is a massive hall filled with priceless treasures, valuable items, and precious collections of Solaris Imperial Family!

"You are not joking when you said that only the Emperor and Empress of Solaris are allowed to see this place." She declared after seeing so many treasures inside the massive hall. Priceless treasures are lined up as far as her eyes could see! She saw the imperial treasury of Sky Empire before but it seems nothing compared to what she is seeing now!

There are several shelves for crowns used by previous Emperors and Empresses based on the inscriptions. Unlike the other empires, the previous Solaris Emperor and Empress never passed down the same crown to the next Emperor and Empress. Once a new Emperor and Empress ascended to the throne, a new crown is produced and worn by the new generation. The old crown will be kept in this grand hall as a memento.

She checked the different shelves for rare and precious jewelry, rare precious stones, exquisite armors and weapons, coronation imperial robes, and different priceless antiques.

There are several chests filled with diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, amethysts, topazes, opals, jadeites, pearls, and many other chests filled with other rare and precious stones.

There are also several chests of gold bars and gold coins, and many other rare and valuable collections!

The walls of this massive hall are filled with paintings from famous painters and other magnificent works of art. The value of each masterpiece is dizzying! Most of it has some significant historical and sentimental values.

"Why did you let me see these things? I am not the Empress of Solaris." Beatrix suspiciously asked. "Are you not afraid I might be tempted to steal one or two? Or even betray you and sell the information to the enemies?"

"If I want to show it to you or to all the people in the world, who would say otherwise?!" He defensively replied. When he noticed that Beatrix seems unconvinced and even raised her eyebrow, his back felt extremely cold and so he panicked as his heart beats faster now!

"I am not like other imperial sons! I break some rules... I am not the only one! Even my Imperial Father showed this to my Imperial Mother before they got married!" He hurriedly told her as beads of sweat are beginning to form on his brow.

"Your Imperial Mother became the Empress of Solaris Empire." She countered.

"Why does it matter? I trust you so much! If you are bothered then you could marry me and become the next Empress of Solaris Empire! It is settled then!" He replied like it is not a big deal but the extreme nervousness had already spread throughout his body.

"Okay!" She agreed.

"Really?! You will marry me?" He excitedly asked.
