At that time, Emperor Valentine could not understand why his heart is beating so fast! He even stuttered for the first time when he introduced himself as Crown Prince Valentine Solaris while she happily said that her name is Beatrix Lamoreaux, daughter of a Great General Ardor and granddaughter of Prime Minister Aaron of Sky Empire. After that, he just foolishly agreed to her every request...

"Would you like to help me pick more flowers and I will thank you by creating you a personally made crown?" She beamed at him.

He nodded and let her step on his shoulder to reach her special blossom from a tree! She dirtied his purple imperial robe but it is okay, he is looking forward to her personally made crown... Suddenly, she lost her balance and he tried to prevent her from falling but by doing so he also lost his balance! He used one hand to protect her head while the other hand protected her back as they both rolled down the slope holding each other, waiting for the momentum to stop on its own. It ended with him being on top of her in a very ambiguous position! It looked like he is taking advantage of her! That was the time the twin princes arrived and they saw him in that awkward position!

One of princes immediately run towards him and forcefully yanked him away from Beatrix then punched and beat him up several times! He could see his extreme hate and feel the intense desire to end his life at that time! He saw the other prince helped Beatrix to stand up before he also joined in beating him up! Of course, he did not let them have their way so he fought them with all of his might! They beat him so hard but he also beat them to a pulp!!! By the time they were separated and the fight was stopped because Beatrix ran for help, all three of them suffered from several serious bruises all over their bodies!

He remembered the shock from the two Emperors and two Empresses when they saw them! He recalled that on that same day, he and his parents immediately leave Sky Empire's imperial palace and decided to go back to Solaris Empire and never return! He was not able to return to Sky Empire earlier even though he asked his Imperial Father and Imperial Mother multiple times to go back and visit Beatrix! They did not grant his requests but they always give him Beatrix's latest portrait every year, thanks to their spies in Sky Empire. He received her portraits and hung all of them on his bedroom wall so even though they did not see each other after that, he knows exactly what she looks like!

When he successfully ascended to the throne of Solaris Empire, he sent several marriage proposals to the Emperor of Sky Empire indicating Beatrix Lamoreaux as the bride in exchange for several tempting benefits for Sky Empire but he always received a letter of rejection indicating that she is already betrothed and the alliance through marriage arrangement could not proceed!

After many years, he successfully arrived at the port of Sky Empire. He intended to personally ask the Emperor of Sky Empire for her hand in marriage because he could not believe that the Emperor of Sky Empire could resist his lucrative offers! All of his offers are very beneficial and profitable to the whole Sky Empire! He knows that something is not right and he wants to find the truth...

If his instinct is correct, the Emperor of the Sky Empire will immediately accept his proposal and give his approval to the marriage alliance! Emperor Valentine plans to marry Beatrix in Sky Empire. After all, the Sky Empire has been preparing for an imperial wedding for a long time... It is just this time, the groom will be replaced! After their marriage, they will explore some places in Sky Empire then he will bring her to Solaris Empire where he would also marry her grandly in front of his people and established her position as the Empress of Solaris Empire!

Unfortunately, none of his expectations happened when he saw her boarding the Sea Mermaid together with one of the two Sky Empire's princes who beat him up many years ago! She dressed up as a man but he is sure that the person he saw is Beatrix Lamoreaux! He is very sure because her portrait is the last thing he sees every time he closes his eyes and the first thing he sees every time he opens his eyes!

At that time, he made a quick decision! He paid and boarded on the Sea Mermaid, which is going to sail to port of Solaris Empire on the same day he arrived at the port of Sky Empire! During the entire voyage, he would like to approach her and talk to her but that annoying prince is a pest who always stays with her! At last, there was one night that he saw an opening, he looked at her as she seems to be looking intensely at the night sky on the ship's deck. She seems to be thinking deeply and seriously about something...
