It feels so weird especially that they are still stranger to each other but at that moment, they created a type of atmosphere fit for two sweet lovers. Beatrix just nodded, feeling so embarrassed with herself! Valentine went inside the cave so Beatrix looked for somewhere she could sit while she is waiting for him to come out. She thought about her new situation...

It seems that everything is connected to my curse. I bring chaos and destruction! I wonder if I am also the reason why our ship encountered misfortune... I wonder what happened to Anders... I hope he survived and is currently safe!

Finally, Valentine happily exited the cave and motioned for her to come close.

"The cave is small but it is safe for staying. We will spend the night here. Please help me prepare so we could eat and sleep properly tonight." He told her.

Beatrix nodded and helped her newfound friend on the island.

Prince Anders opened his eyes in an unfamiliar place. It seems that he is in a luxurious room in someone's house. His whole body, especially his head, is aching! He checked himself and discovered that his head is filled with a thick bandage and on his belly has another thick and huge bandage!

He remembered that when Beatrix was thrown out of the ship's deck, he immediately jumped and tried to save her but when he was already in the water, a huge wave hit him and made him slam fiercely into the ship! That was the last thing he remembered before he lose consciousness... He is still thinking when two young women entered the room and look at him excitedly. One of the two young women is pretty and wearing clothes of high quality fit for a noblewoman while the other one is still pretty but wearing a maid's clothing.

"I am glad that you finally woke up! I thought you are not going to make it when I found you on the beach yesterday." One of the two young women told him. She has an oval face, brown hair, high arch eyebrows, brown eyes, upturned nose, and full lips. Overall, she is a very attractive young woman and her bearing and clothing are showing that she is the young lady of this house!

"Who are you and where am I?" Prince Anders immediately asked, feeling the severe ache and discomfort in his body.

"I am Princess Gertrude and this is my closest friend and personal maid, Catty. You are currently in my mansion in the capital of Solaris Empire." The pretty princess replied.

"Who are you, Mister?! And why are you talking to our Princess like you are the one who owns the place?!!" The maid named Catty immediately interrupted. She is also pretty with a small circular face, thick black hair, deep-set little black eyes, cute nose, and lips.

"I apologize for my audacity, Princess Gertrude and to you, Miss Catty. My name is Andy. I am just not feeling well and extremely worried. Have you also rescued a young woman? She is my companion and I am really worried about her..." He explained.

"No, we only found you on the beach but the authorities are now checking for any survivors." Princess Gertrude replied then continued: "Let us just pray that she will be one of the survivors... The truth is... I understand what you feel..." She said then her tears flowed like a river and turned away to hide her feelings!

"Do not cry, Princess... I am sure he is safe..." Catty tried to comfort Princess Gertrude.

"I know." She said and immediately wiped her tears away and turned back to Prince Anders. "I will ask the servants to provide you with food, water, and clothing. Please excuse me..." She said and immediately went out of the room, followed by the maid, not waiting for his reply.

In the capital of Sky Empire, Emperor Andrew could not help but squint his eyes as he observes the new, young, and intelligent Minister Zander King, who was adopted by General Ardor and Lady Andrea a few weeks after Beatrix went missing!

Emperor Andrew is against the adoption of Zander King because...

Who is this ambitious person who tries to get my Beatrix's inheritance?!! My Beatrix is just missing!!! Not dead!!! Why would General Ardor and Lady Andrea adopt a nobody to replace her?!!

He angrily thought at that time but he could not do anything since it is his Imperial Father who immediately approved of the adoption even though he tried to persuade his Imperial Father to reject it multiple times!

His eyes became even darker and colder, and his hands clenched fiercely when he approached General Ardor and discovered that it was his Beatrix who recommended the adoption?!!

He suddenly became so interested to meet this adopted son. He could not help but silently wonder...
