"Psi! Psi, wake up! Congratulations, you finished five lifetimes! Two more and you are free!" A very handsome being told Beatrix while she felt that her spirit is in a suspended state.

"Who is Psi? Who are you?" Beatrix asks weakly.

"You do not remember? That is normal! Two more to go and you will be immortal again! You will be able to go home and you will not suffer anymore!!!" The handsome being told her happily.

"Who are you? Why are you calling me, Psi?" She weakly asked.

"That is because you are Psi and I am your closest and most handsome brother Phi! You need to be patient. Only two more lifetimes. Go with the flow and you will be able to pay for your sins and be free from the curse of mortality. You will be able to go home!"

"What? My name is Beatrix, not Psi! I do not have a brother! Are you another crack nut? What sin? What curse?" She annoyingly replied.

The handsome being called Phi sighed in exasperation.

"Do you not remember that you were punished to live with the mortals because...." He told her something but she cannot hear him anymore!

His image began to blur until she opened her eyes in a very familiar surrounding! That was what Beatrix remembered after she opened her eyes again! Another life was given to her!

The dream was so weird but she remembered everything, especially these words...

Two more lifetimes... Pay for your sins... Curse of mortality... Be immortal again... Able to go home... Not suffer anymore...

"Who is this Phi? What is his relationship to me or to all the things that are happening to me?" She deeply thought as she remembered his soothing voice.

Phi is so handsome! If I am a celestial beauty then he is a celestial hottie! Brother... He said he is my brother but how? What is he trying to say? Too bad, I did not hear...

She felt that she knew him but she really could not remember where, when, or how? Her mind cannot remember but her heart is telling her otherwise.

"He is very handsome and mysterious, his existence should be illegal!!!" She absent-mindedly blurted out.

"Who are you talking about? Who is very handsome and mysterious, it should be illegal?!" Someone curiously asked.

She glanced in the direction of the voice...

"Anders? You are here! When did you come back?!" She excitedly asked him but later realized that she made a serious mistake! This is another lifetime and this Prince Anders in front of her is younger!

"Why would I not be here? Who are you talking about? Is he more attractive than me or my Imperial Brother?" He probed deeper with a furrowed brow.

"That is not important now! How old am I?" She asked him after she accidentally saw her appearance in the mirror.

She is so afraid because she looks old enough to marry!!!

"You are making me worry now..." Prince Anders told her.

"Just answer my question! This is important to me!" She is beginning to panic, very afraid that it is already too late.

"You are turning eighteen next week." He gently told her.

"What?! One week only before the 'Selection Day'?!" Her eyes widened after she confirmed that the time is very constrained.

"Yes, why do you look so pale? Are you having cold feet?" He worriedly looks at her.

"No, I am fine. Do not mind me. I am probably not feeling well..." She reasoned.

"I will call the physicians..." He suggested, feeling that something is wrong with her.

"No! I just miss my parents..." She made up another reason.

"Would you like me to take you to the General's Mansion?" He offered.

"No, I would like to go there by myself. I need to talk to my mother about girl things..." She lied this time.

Prince Anders looked at her worriedly but Beatrix did not allow him to go with her.

Beatrix visited the General's Mansion that day. She saw her parents happily eating their snacks together.

She smiled as she told herself that she will never commit the same mistake of implicating her parents with her problems in this lifetime.

She greeted her parents. They talked about random things while she subtlety told them that she loves both of them...

She went to her bedroom in the General's Mansion and retrieved her gold coin savings in her hidden place inside her room. She collected this much money since young. She had a lot of it but she dare not take so much. She needs to travel light! Since all of her schemes failed, her remaining option now is to run away and never come back!!!
