"No, I just heard about her." Beatrix gave a fake smile as she remembered her first lifetime.

How can I forget about her?! She was my greatest rival in the harem! The Flower Princess, my ass! She is a grass, not a flower! Whether it is her face or her schemes, it can be compared to grass! Beatrix angrily thought as she remembered her miserable first lifetime. The two princes were very worried and held anticipation as they received the edict personally given by the Emperor. Beatrix is also worried as the two princes slowly unroll the edict that they received! Her heart beats wildly, praying that the Emperor chose Prince Anders for her.

She secretly chanted in her mind while waiting for them to finish reading. The two princes read the contents of the edict, Prince Anders is still reading while Prince Andrew stopped reading and stares at her instead! Their eyes met and her heart beats faster...

Why is he staring at me? Did the Emperor choose Andrew to marry me? No! No! No! God, no! I will pray nonstop for three days, give many precious offerings, and donate a large sum of money! I will do anything, just please do not let my fear happen!

Soon, Prince Anders finished reading and excitedly walked closer to Beatrix. "Beatrix, you are now betrothed to me! You will marry me!" He excitedly informed her.

"Really?!!" Beatrix sighed in relief. She smiled and prevented herself from jumping up and down like a happy child! Next, Prince Anders and Beatrix approached Prince Andrew to congratulate him together...

"Congratulations, Imperial Brother! It is your good fortune to marry a princess! A true beneficial marriage for you and Sky Empire!" Prince Anders excitedly said, unable to see the twitching of his brother's lips.

"If it is truly a great fortune, why don't you marry her instead?" Prince Andrew coldly replied with a poker face.

"I am a good brother, I will never snatch my Imperial Brother's good fortune!" Prince Anders cheerfully replied.

"Congratulations, Your Highness Prince Andrew! I heard Princess Madeline is the top beauty of Cloud Empire. I am sure that she will suit your taste! A princess like her will be a good wife, partner, and supporter." Beatrix happily said while doing her best not to laugh like a witch at that time!

"You sure know my taste?" He dangerously replied maintaining his poker face.

"Forgive me, Your Highness! I am just so happy for you. It is not always that someone will be as lucky as you!" She said then bowed and turn around, dragging Prince Anders with her. She knows when to stop as she could sense great danger. She is not going to push her luck anymore! Fate has finally sided with her and that was the best thing!

The Emperor and Empress stared at their two sons and Lady Beatrix's departing figures...

"Are you sure that you did the right thing?" The Empress worriedly asked the Emperor.

"Why would I be wrong? Based on my investigation and from what we witnessed earlier, Anders and Lady Beatrix seem to like each other. If that is the case, they are the perfect couple so why would my decision be wrong?" The Emperor defended his decision to his Empress.

"I think it is better to pair Lady Beatrix to Andrew. I could see that she has the means to make him calm down." The Empress carefully explained.

"What do you mean? Andrew is always calm. Didn't you see? He did not complain. He accepted the imperial edict with all of his heart!" The Emperor proudly said.

The Empress sighed helplessly. She could not believe that her husband is excellent in court and political issues but will surely flunk in understanding the matters of the heart.

"Do not worry anymore, my Empress! Mutual love is always better than one-sided love. What I did is good parenting and politics!" He comforted his wife.

"Whatever you say goes!" She finally supported her husband, although she could not help but worry in her heart. She hopes and prays with all of her heart that her son, Prince Andrew will truly accept and follow the imperial edict without a fuss and problem in the future.
