This time the woman could not take it anymore seeing her husband's suffering!
"You are truly an evil incarnate! We made the right decision not to marry off our daughter to someone like you!" Lady Andrea could no longer keep her mouth shut! Her heart is aching seeing her husband's physical, mental, and emotional suffering!
Prince Andrew's face became darker, colder, and more malevolent after he heard it!

"Andrea! Do not interrupt! Stay out of this!" General Ardor warned his wife not to interfere as much as possible.
Sad to say, General Ardor could not protect her or himself at this time! He and his wife were captured by this cursed and hateful prince! When his daughter told them about her previous lifetimes, he made a further and deeper secret investigation about the two princes, especially Prince Andrew! He uncovered many dangerous secrets like the existence of his black army, ghost navy, red assassins, and shadow spies! The general discovered the hidden and dangerous power and influence of Prince Andrew. He could guess about the nature of Prince Andrew's ambition but it is a pity that he lacks concrete evidence to present it to the emperor!

At first, he thought that this hateful entity must have discovered that he knew too much which is why he laid an effective trap for him and his wife, Andrea. They grandly fell into his trap while they are on their way to their vacation! The worse is no one will know of their disappearance for at least four months since he and his wife are supposedly on vacation!
This prince is truly a sly fox! Now, he is torturing him to death but to his amazement and contrary to what he expected, this hateful entity did not ask him about the sensitive information that he knew about him, other imperial family members, the Sky Empire, other officials, and the neighboring empires... He seems interested to know everything about his daughter and he is itching to know if he and his daughter have a connection or some sort of relation to each other aside from the canceled betrothal.
General Ardor understood that Prince Andrew is already aware of all the tricks the Lamoreaux and Marvel families did to break the marriage arrangement! He feels that the evil entity is not happy about it! He is torturing him just to know all things about his daughter but he, as a Father and General, is determined to never reveal anything to him! He could kill him but he will never reveal his daughter's secret!
General Ardor is glad that he did not do anything bad to his wife, Andrea, or at least none at the moment but he is so afraid that this hateful entity will do it soon. He does not know if he could continue his firm stand if this evil incarnate does something bad to his wife!
"Tell me everything about my Beatrix. Tell me why she escaped marrying into the imperial family. I know that we have some sort of special connection... What is it?" Prince Andrew rephrased his question.

"Your Highness Prince Andrew, the only connection between you and my daughter is the broken marriage arrangement. That is all!" The General repeated his answer. "Your Highness, please release me and my wife. We will act like nothing happened!"
Prince Andrew smiled maliciously...
"Do you share the same thoughts, Lady Andrea? If you cooperate and tell me exactly what I want to know, you have my word that I will immediately release both of you..." Prince Andrew declared.
Lady Andrea looked at her suffering husband. She understands his hidden message: Do not tell him anything!' so she steeled herself and lied.
"As my husband said, there is nothing special, Your Highness Prince Andrew. Your only connection is the broken marriage arrangement." She repeated what her husband said.
Prince Andrew looked at both of them.
Do they think I am stupid? I could feel that they are not telling the truth!!!

This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
