《Why The Hell Not》The First Kiss

Kai
"Alpha Malakai, this is the last place she was seen," Jeremiah said. Him,as well as some of my higher pack members, told me there were suspicious allegations of some aggressive behavior. After reading all of the reports about broken cars, fire hydrants, and even buildings, I had to get right on it.
This person was causing problems, big problems. Scaring children, messing up people's things, destruction of private property,... I can't have that in my pack.
I'm really happy Zoey is here to keep Zara. I wouldn't want another repeat of what happened the last time I felt her by herself... even though great sex came after it.
No one was able to give a good description of this person. All I have to go by is that it's a girl... which describes more than half of my pack.
There's no doubt this person is a threat and will be treated as such.
"Whoever she is, she's moving fast," I said, annoyed. I could be with my mate right now, but instead I'm chasing around some terrorist.
After a few more minutes of looking we finally heard some news.
"Alpha Malakai, me and 5 men got her cornered. It was 7 of us but they are unresponsive right now. We are by the south border" on of my men said through a mind link.
We were only a few minutes from there.
"Everyone head to the south border. Keep your guard up. She's dangerous" I warned, as we headed in that direction.
It was about a 10 minute walk, so we shifted to cut the time.
I can't even remember the last time I was in my wolf form. My wolf is pure white with long fur and brown eyes. I sat in the passenger seat as I let him take full control.
He stretched out his legs and growled, making all of our people look over to him waiting on his command. He talked to their wolves with power in his words, telling them to follow him.
We took off, flying through the wind with amazing speed. It felt so wonderful to run, the night moon lighting up the sky, the feeling of freedom washing over me. I haven't been in my wolf form in ages, I almost forgot what this felt like.

We arrived at the location and I couldn't be more horrified. I see some of my men and women on the ground with blood flowing from their bodies. They were in their wolf form and still were losing.
The woman in question was not shifted. She was dressed so casual you'd think she was going out for brunch. She had blood over her bare legs and arms, that was clearly not hers. Her small frame fought effortlessly against even the strongest fighters. I've never seen someone fight off people in their wolf form.
Instantly the wolves who traveled with me went to attack her. She smiled at them as they rushed on her. Her face held no fear, just joy. Then her eyes locked mine.
It's Abigail.
"Stop!!" I roared.
They all stopped and looked back at me like I was crazy and maybe I was, but I had to think logically.
Abi is pissed off about something. She has the type of anger that could start wars. When we were younger the only real thing that 'calmed' her down was fighting, that's how she became the best fighter in my pack.
I know that she won't stop till they are non-responsive and I can't lose all of my fighters.
"Take all of the injured wolves to the hospital, I'll take care of her. Jeremiah you stay"
I needed him to stay just in case I needed help with her.
They nodded their heads almost instantly and started gathering once on the ground. As they were working on that I shifted out of my wolf form and looked over to Abigail.
Her eyes were locked on my private area. I couldn't believe that in a serious situation like this Abigail is anything but.
"Looking good Mr. Alpha '' she smiled, leaning on a nearby tree. She licked her lips as she eyes my naked body.
"Abigail what the fuck" I said.
"Oh I'm sorry, did I cause a problem?" She asked, making a pouty face.
"Abigail, stop with the games. Do you know what you have done? The lives you changed or even killed?!" I yelled.
"Oh yes, cause it's everyone else over me. I'm the odd one out"
"What are you even talking about? Is this because of last night? Look Abigail, I don't see you in that way. Besides that's what you have Charles for"

"Oh yeah Charles, my Ex mate because even he doesn't like me" she laughed coldly.
I looked over to her neck and she was missing her mark. I did feel bad for her, that has to be a lot to deal with, but I can't excuse what she did.
"That doesn't mean you can go on a rampage. You've committed a crime Abigail. There are kids around who look up to you, what type of example is this?"
"I told you how I felt about you and you rejected me, you choose someone you just met over me then you mark her?! You marked her after not knowing her for more than 6 months, but you reject me? Then Charles leaves me and the Moon Goddess made it official by burning his mark off of me...and you're talking to me about some fucking kids?" She yelled.
"Abi I'm sorry you're going through all of this but that doesn't excuse you from any of this." I said, firmly.
"Could I at least get a kiss before you punish me?" She asked, looking to the ground. She didn't sound like her normal sarcastic self, she sounded like she was genuinely asking. I hate seeing her like this, I wish things were different but they're not...
"Abi..."
"Just one little kiss, just something to hold on to."
"Abigail no, I don't see you that way....-"
Before I could finish what I was saying she smashed her lips to mine. She moaned into the kiss, pulling me closer to the point where we were pressed together. Her hands found my hair and before it could go on any longer I forced her off of me.
Oh no, no, no!
Her eyes filled with lust as she looked at me like she's never seen me before. She smiled as blush took over her cheeks.
This is not good. The kiss was short, maybe 2 seconds long and it honestly felt like nothing. I can't lie and say I've never thought about us as mates or even just a couple, but that kiss just confirmed that we are just meant to be friends.
"What the fuck Abigail" I said, wiping my lips.
She bit her lips as she looked down nervously.
"I had to do it, Kai. You can be mad at me later but you know you felt something" she said.
I shook my head at her. She just don't know how much she is fucking up.
I walked over to her and held my hands out for her hands. She gave me a smirk once she realized I was going to handcuff her.
Normally we would use normal metal handcuffs, but for her I'm using copper. Copper is used to make a wolf weaker, not to make them completely weak.
Once the cuffs were on her I could feel her body relax a little.
"Jeremiah take her to a cell, her punishment will be decided by me tomorrow." I said, handing over to him.
She looked disappointed but I had to get home to my mate who is probably carrying my child.
He nodded and walked off with her.
"Fuck" I said to myself looking around at all of the damage she caused. This is going to take a while to get everything fixed. It's no doubt that people will be upset and concerned that their beta is locked up. As if the world didn't already look at my pack like we were beneath them, now my betta has a criminal record.
I rubbed my face and tried to mentally get myself ready to do all of this paper work to get everything fixed.
Zara is going to be so pissed at me. This is the second time I felt she had to deal with Abigail's bs. I decided to mind-link her to let her know I'm on my way home.
"Hey beautiful, I'm heading to the house now. I have something I have to tell you when I get there"
"Okay, I kinda have something to tell you too. Zoey is passed out on our couch that may or may not be covered in chocolate and ice cream.... Just so you know"
I chucked a little, that couch is the least of my worries.
"I'll have another one sent over tomorrow. I'll be home in a few minutes"
"Okay since you're having one sent over can it be gray instead of white cause I will just mess it up again"
"Whatever you want"

Rise of the Desolate Star
“The soul is a sword. The body its sheath. Adversity is the hammer, while courage is the anvil. Oh, and son? Your tears and snot, they’re just the sparks that chip away at the impurities, like dungflies off a sow’s arse.” - Kendric Farrow Ever since he could remember, young Skyle Farrow’s body and mind have been hammered relentlessly like red-hot steel against the anvil of adversity under the watchful eyes of his father. All the while, Skyle’s heart and soul have been nurtured by the enduring warmth of his loving mother. Skyle has always asked why a simple farmboy would have need for all manner of skills like hand-to-hand combat, wilderness tracking, archery, beast taming, geography, history, politics, and even embroidery! The one vital question remains unasked, however: just what are his parents preparing him for? The invasion of a demonic horde? The advent of an age of war and endless bloodshed? The dark legacy of an ancient mystical power? A desperate struggle to save the lives of those he holds dear? The end of the world? It is a good thing he never asked these questions, for the answer would have been yes - to all of them. Now Skyle must take his first steps beyond the sheltered world he has known. He has been raised strong, but is he strong enough? Welcome to a tale of friendship, love, loss and heartbreak. It chronicles the growth of a young boy into a legend whose path will shatter the very foundations of the world. Expect a rich, detailed world with vivid characters. Each will pursue their own complex agendas due to realistic motivations.
