"Wake up bastard." A voice echoed through the room, making Zach stir on his bed.

"Zach, we need to talk." And Zach grabbed a pillow, putting it upon his head to block the voices.

"Asshole, wake up." He stirred again.

"There's an earthquake." He showed the finger.

"Zach."

No response.

"Zach!" The person shook him.

"Zach, its fucking important." This time, he opened his eyes, blinking a few times and taking in the surroundings.

He turned around to glance at the table clock before fixing his glare to the person.

"This, better be important, cause if not, I am going to make sure that you do not, like ever, get a good night sleep." He grumbled, rubbing his eyes.

"It is important. Why the fuck do you think I will wake you out of everyone at fucking four am? I could have just called Max or someone else." River glared back, plopping on the bean bag.

"Wow, I am so feeling the love dear brother." Zach threw his hands on the air, sarcasm drifted in each and every word.

"Shut it and listen to me." And Zach grumbled before getting in a sitting position.

"What is it?" He asked, groggily.

River let out a breath before running his hand through his face.

"Father made me go on a date yesterday."

That perked up Zach's interest and he looked at him suspiciously.

"And?" Zach pushed.

"It was a scam. All of this started last week. When I went to his office, he asked me to sign up a contract that clearly stated that Blake enterprise's heir, River Blake agree to the terms and will marry the Thompson's heir as soon as both of them will be ready to be committed to each other. I-" But before he could continue, Zach cut him off.

"Tell me right now that you did not sign the contract. What the fuck?! You cannot just marry anyone. What is wrong with him?" Zach's eyes almost bulged out of its sockets and he looked at River unbelievably, hoping that he would say he just pulled a prank on him.

"I did not sign it. I told him that none can make me agree to it. Then yesterday, he said that I need to go on the date or else Blake enterprises will lose the contract. He said we will lose a big fortune and all those shit. So, well, I agreed. But you know what he did? He fucking called the paparazzi. Now, each and every headline says that me and Andrea are dating." River looked angry, he looked too angry.

"Woah, woah, Andrea?" Zach tried to sound surprised, he really did.

"Yah, remember? Andrea Blue Thompson, Faye's friend from Brownfield? Ginger? She even comes to our parties." Zach nodded at that, running a hand through his hair.

"You scored a date with Andrea." He low whistled whilst shaking his head.

"Oh screw it. They fucking played with us. Even she did not know that it was me. They fucking tried to sat this scandal for popularity and shit. This is not okay. What will Faye think? She needs to know that I am not dating Andrea." River shook his head, not knowing what to do.

He could not lose her.

He wants her to know that its always, it always her.

"And the Blake kid is still in love with the queen bee." Zach smirked.

"He never fell out of love to begin with. Its always her after all." He breathed out.

"Why do you look so happy today?" Madeline eyed the girl that played with her sundress, dancing around the room, humming to herself.

"She has gone crazy." Aubree facepanned, trying to get a hold on Faye.

"Oh come on people, dance with me." Faye pulled Aubree, moving her hands.

"Ever since she hang up Zach's call, she has been acting like this." Aubree mentioned to Madeline, making her nod and Faye giggle.

"He is not dating her! Of course I will be dancing." Faye laughed again before jumping on her bed and laying down.

"Care to explain?" And she did. She told them everything, starting from, how she and Zach went out to spy on River, how their father planned the scandal, how the girl was none other than Andrea Blue. And as she said those things, her eyes shined with happiness, love.

Last night, she was not able to sleep. All the thoughts used to led her to the fact that River is dating another girl. Did she know that she was falling for him? Not really. Faye did know that she had feelings for him, feelings that still had to be named. She was just aware of the fact that she cares for him more that she did for anyone else. And that, she will always stand by his side, in his grief and happiness.

"Woah, Blake's father is a douchebag." Madeline snorted, laying down with her and Aubree.

"Nah, we cannot say that. It was a business strategy, people living in the industries makes their way through all these scandals, to grow connections and all. Sure he did it the wrong way, but as a business man, he did it for the expansion of Blake enterprises. I am just glad to here that its a scam and River is not really dating Andy." Faye breathed out, smiling.

"I agree with Faye. One display with Andy will perfectly give the media the idea that Thompsons and Blakes are involved. Well, because of their growing connections, of course others will feel threatened and come to the enterprises to make a deal. Publicity matters and that's exactly what they are doing. But yah, he did it the wrong way." Aubree reasoned out making the other two nod with her.

"Now that you know that its a scam, tell me Faye Lockwood, why are you so happy about it?" Madeline had a smirk on her face.

Aubree eyed Faye and noticed her cheeks going red, lips stretched into a giddy smile.

Faye now knew what she felt for him, Faye knew exactly what those feelings were.

"You are falling for him, are not you?" And when Faye Lockwood did not utter a thing and just laughed, Madeline and Aubree knew that their best friend was in love with River Blake.
