"Even if there was no gravity on earth,

I would still fall for you."

"Wanna go for a walk?" And River looked up to find Annalise leaning in the doorway, a small smile on her face.

He ran his hand through his hair, trying to forget everything that happened in the pool.

Why the hell did he kiss her?

Why the fucking hell did he let his emotions take the best of him?

Why the fucking hell does he has to ruin practically everything?

Just, why?

He groaned, frustrated with himself.

"You, alright?" Annalise walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

He looked at the bedside table clock and saw that it was almost one am.

"Yah, let's go." He mumbled as he pulled a hoodie upon his white tank.

"So, are you ever gonna tell her?" Annalise asked as they both walked out of the mansion.

"Ha?" He looked at her, dumbfounded.

There were so many emotions running inside his mind.

His sister was talking with him.

Actually trying to make a conversation.

"I am talking about Faye, silly." She laughed, making him look at her with admiration.

His little sister.

"River?"

"Yah?"

"What's up?" She looked at him with a warm smile.

"Its, its just been a while, I mean, talking to you, like this, you know, like we are okay, like, I mean, like... I don't know, it just feels good to find out that you are still talking to me." He deadpanned, grumbling under his breath.

"I am sorry." A little tear fell out of her eyes and she turned away.

"I am sorry." He said instead.

"No, do not be. I was the one who ignored you for the last two years, acting like a child and shit, you tried to talk, did not you? I did not. I pushed you, I threw you out of my life, hell, I blamed you for everything that you never did. I hurt you, its my fault." She let out a humorless laugh, tears falling freely out of her eyes.

"Its okay Anna, its okay. I would have done the same thing." He said, squeezing her hand.

"I am so sorry River, I am so so sorry." She hugged him tightly.

"Shhh, Anna, shhh..." He patted her comfortably, smiling through his glassy eyes.

"I love you." She continued, "And I am sorry, I just needed someone to blame, I am so cruel, I am so sorry." She cried.

"Hey." He cupped her face between his hands, "Its over, yah? Everything is fine now. Anna, I know what you have been through, its okay. Stop crying, your big brother is here."

"I missed you so much." She said between hiccups as he wiped her tears, smiling.

"I misses you too my minion."

"She is Faye Lockwood, Anna."

"And?"

"And Faye Lockwood think of me as a friend."

"Then why the hell did she got jealous when she saw you dancing with Kelly today? Why did she come here just to make sure that you are okay? Why does she look at you like you are everything for her? Have you had ever noticed? She's crazy for you, River. Friends? Bullshit." Annalise scoffed, laying her head on the ground.

"Maybe she just care about me." He gulped.

"Its love River, its love."

"She is a ray of sunshine, Anna. She deserves better."

"I hope you find the best in each other. You both have gone through so many things, you deserve to be happy. You both deserve the world." Annalise whispered under her breath, closing her eyes.

"Where were you? You got me all worried." He opened the door of the guest room just to find her sitting on the couch, a worried look visible on her face.

"Oh. I... I went for a walk... with Anna."

She looked tired.

She looked really tired.

"Are you alright?" He asked, sitting beside her.

"Bad dream." Faye mumbled under her breath, running her hands through her face.

"Feeling better now?" He asked as he wrapped his arm around her.

She laid her face on his chest, "Um huh... is everything alright between you and Anna, now?" She asked, closing her eyes.

"Yah, things are better, much better." He replied, smiling.

"I am glad." She inhaled his scent and instantly found herself melting.

Can a guy smell so good? That's totally unfair. You are making it so hard for me.

"Will it be okay if I sleep with you? I do not want to be alone." She whispered, shivering as the dream invaded her mind once again.

"What did you dream about?" He chuckled.

"You left me." Her voice was small and she really did not want him to know.

But he did listen and his grip become tighter around her.

"Come on, let's get you to the bed." He mumbled before pulling her up bridal style.

He gently placed her on the bed before pulling up the covers.

"Good night." He whispered.

"Are you not sleeping here?" She frowned.

"I am... just... I am just gonna take the couch." He said, scratching the back of his head.

Was she trying to kill him?

How is he supposed to sleep on the same bed as her the entire night and not expect himself to do something stupid?

He did not trust himself for that.

"You are acting like we have never slept together." She laughed, shaking her head.

"I... thought, that would just make you more comfortable."

She wanted him next to her.

She always wanted to be in his arms.

Clearing her throat, she said, "Come on, you can sleep here." And she pulled off the covers, forming a place for him to sleep.

He gulped.

There was too much of sexual frustration.

He looked over at her and for the first time he noticed her attire.

She was in nothing but a tank top and some PJ's.

That's it.

Stop eyeing her.

Sighing, he threw his hoodie over his head and slowly walked up to the bed.

Cautiously, he got in the bed and pulled the covers over them.

Both can feel the heat radiating from each other's body as they closed their eyes.

"Do not go near her. Do not go near her. Do not you dare do something stupid." River chanted to himself, his body full rigid.

That's when he heard her soft snores.

She was already asleep.

A small smile played on his lips.

The sound was strangely comforting.

Hell, River found it cute.

Suddenly, he felt her shifting towards him and next you know, her head was on his shoulder, her arms around his waist.

"Fuck." He cursed under his breath, his heart beating faster than ever.

"Do not leave." He heard her mumbling.

"I never will." And he slowly let her arms fall by her side before pulling her closer to him and wrapping his arms around her.

They were so close, so close, that they almost become one.
