《Prank || LJN》meeting:9

A new week, yet Minseo is still in the hospital. Mark keeps on blaming himself for everything that happened. The other dreamies are still guilt ridden after the incident. If a certain duo didn't heard Minseo, they would lost her for sure.

The dreamies minus Mark headed to a room they have grown accustomed to for the past days. Jeno opened the door, revealing a pleasantly surprising sight. Mark and Minseo was giggling over god knows what, Mark's eyes sparkling with happiness. Minseo seems like to regain her smile, although smaller than it usual was. It was better than the blank expression she wore for the past days.

They turned to the guests, Jeno still holding the door. "Are we intruding? We could just come back anytime." Minseo shook her head, chuckling as she gestured them to come in. The dreamies excitedly approach them, occupying the empty chairs around her bed. Its been awhile since they saw the bright Minseo, and they honestly miss that part of her.

"I heard that Jisung tried to wash vegetables with soap." Minseo's eyes hold a mischievous gleam as she drawl with a cheeky grin. The youngest groaned when the topic resurfaced again. "Honestly it radiates the same energy as Taemin hyung seeing a broccoli for the first time and calling it a tree." Mark added, remembering that one video Taemin himself show to them.

"Maknae things." Jisung said with a shrug, seeming nonchalant although his red face says otherwise. To say he is embarrassed is an understatement because it shows that he have zero knowledge on cooking. Jaemin patted his back as he coo over how cute the younger is.

Minseo's lips twitch upwards, curving a small smile. She had a hard time fighting the haunting image of the guy that ruined her senior high school life and trigger her trauma. But for the sake of her sanity and the people who cared for her, she managed to overcome it for now.

Although they could see she is visibly restless, glancing around the room as if Junho would suddenly appear and pounced on her any second.

"Oh by the way I'm gonna discharge tomorrow." Minseo inform them, eyes still wandering around the room. They all cheer at the news, Mark beaming since he already knew it before the others. Then a thought hit him. "But are you gonna be okay going back college?" The room fall silent as they look at her anxiously.

Minseo's neutral face morphed into an unreadable expression. She hold blank stare for awhile, the tension in the room rising. Then she display a soft smile. "I need to graduate, of course I would go." She said sounding lighthearted, but the way her stomach churned uneasily doesn't seem to agree with her on that. Mark hold eye contact with her before sighing, nodding his head. Of course he knows, he knows her better than herself.

"I'm glad you're gonna discharge. I'm making sure you're with either one of us. I'm sorry for not being able to prevent it. I should have try harder." Mark wanted to say more but Minseo rub his back, stopping him from talking further as he began to relax.

The fear of losing her became worser after the incident made him as jumpy as Minseo. That made each other's presence even more important that before, if one of them is not in sight it would lead to both of them going into frenzy. And all of them know it's not good, especially for the fact it could distract Mark from focusing on his work as an idol.

After Minseo managed to calm her brother down, they talked about random topics as they always do. Once or twice they managed to crack a smile from Minseo with their bickering. As the time for visiting is almost up, they all headed to the door except Jeno and Mark. The younger exchange knowing glances with the older. Mark then got up, making up an excuse to go to to the toilet before getting out of the room.

Minseo patted at the seat Mark previously sat, which Jeno obligated to. She cocked an eyebrow, knowing something is up. Jeno chew his bottom lip lightly, feeling nervous for some unknown reason. She noticed his discomfort, holding his hand with a reassuring smile encouraging him to say what he want to say.

"I know you're not actually ready to open up, but I'm just asking you to be honest to Mark. He is already worried when he knew you didn't say much to your therapist, I don't want any of you to suffer. Because both of you meant a lot to me." Jeno said gently, rubbing her hand with his thumb as their hands intertwined.

Minseo was stilled, her voice was stuck in her throat as the tears she tried to hold back began to flow. Jeno panicked, thinking he said something wrong. "I'm sorry I'm really not blaming you! I just want to see both of you at ease although it would take time. I understand that because it's not easy- oh." His rambling was cut short when Minseo pulled him into hug, her sobs audible to him.

"I don't want to go to college. It's gonna remind me of him. But do I have another choice? Besides I need to stop running from my problems." She smile sadly. Jeno look at her puffy face with a gentle smile, the two crescents in his eyes somehow managed to comfort her. "Every time you feel scared to face your problems, just know I will always be there with you. Swimming through the deepest ocean, overcoming the biggest mountain together. You're never alone." He said, soothing the worries she had in mind.

"Wow, cheesy and poetic as usual." Minseo giggled while Jeno roll his eyes playfully. "You love me for that." He said jokingly, half wishing he didn't said that. She simply smile and lay on the bed comfortably.

"Well you're not wrong about that." She grinned, a spark of a familiar glint could be seen in her eyes.
