The sounds of leaves rustling made the girl dash to the balcony and open the sliding door. Still wondering why the boy was that determined to help her, she waited for a few moments before pulling a hand and heaved him inside.
Jeno brushed off a few leaves that was stuck in his hair before giving a bright smile. "I'm here." He said while panting. Minseo chuckled as she gestured him to come in. She hand over her tumbler which he gladly accept.
"I'm surprised you're really here." She said honestly, rubbing her eyes a bit. All she wanted to do was to drown herself under the sheets of her bed but she knew she can't until she answer that damn equation. Jeno smiled at her adoringly before going to her desk.
It was a mess of papers, new ones and crumpled ones. Notes could be seen scattered on it. His eyes traveled to the sheet that Minseo was trying to complete and grinned.
"This one is easy. Here let me show you." The half asleep girl walked lazily back to her desk and sat on the chair at he started to explain. Despite feeling sleepy, she somehow managed to understand and solve it with a few times dozing off. She smiled in triumph before giving the male a sudden hug.
Jeno froze for a moment, his cheeks heating up before stiffly returning it for a few seconds. She pulled away, much to his displeasure but soon forgotten when she give a tired but still stunning smile.
"Thanks for helping. If you want to, you can sleep in our guest room. I dont think you should go back. Its not safe." The worry in her voice was evident and that made Jeno feel bad to decline it. Especially when she is looking like a sad baby.

"I'll just stay here." She smiled before throwing herself to her bed. "The guest room is just in front of mine." She muttered, closing her eyes. Her soft and steady breathing could be heard as she is now asleep, hugging a plushie of hers.
Jeno look at her face with soft eyes before patting her head delicately and went to said room. He pulled the covers and soon drift to dreamland, a smile on his face remembering a certain chocolate enthusiast girl.

My life as a janitor is a simple one, and that clingy asshole won't leave me alone, so forgive me if I don't put enough gravitas into the situation. The only really scary prospect to this whole thing is that the KKK is in town, and I really don't want to deal with their bull.
