《Obsession, Madness & Love (#6)》Epilogue 💕

When Althea asked me what I wanted when she was pregnant, I couldn't decide. A boy or a girl. Whatever we would have, I would have been equally estatic.
And then God blessed us with identical twins, a boy and a girl. Just like dad and his sister are.
Nevan and Alora. With Nevan being a minute older than Alora.
Althea gave me everything she ever could, she gave me a family and her unconditional love though we still banter sometimes but I actually enjoy that. Especially when I kiss her in the middle of arguing and she forgets what she was saying.
When she gave birth, I just couldn't stop kissing her whole face after seeing what all she went through for it. When we got back home, she said to me rather sadly, "Calix...I don't want to get pregnant again, I can't go through everything again, please. I did love some part of my pregnancy but not again--"
So, once again I kissed her in between to shut her up. "It's okay, baby. You gave me more than I ever imagined."
And so we decided to not have anymore babies though I wanted one more but it was okay. I was not going to force her.
"Daddy..." Nevan tugged at my sleeves. "When will mommy come out?"
I ruffled his hair. "Soon...have patience."
He pouted but became silent and leaned back into me as he sat on my lap along with his sister. We all were there for my baby's second World Cup final as a captain.
And though they were just three, they were able to understand the game a little bit and were only interested in it cause they loved watching their mother play. They get so happy whenever the crowd applauds Althea.

Coincidentally, this time in the final Australia was once again chasing and one wicket was down already and Nevan and Alora smiled widely when they recognised Althea's jersey number when she walked out to play.
"Mommy! I'm here!" Alora shouted on the top of her lungs, jumping down from my lap and waving her hands frantically.
I chuckled and pulled her back. "She can't hear you, princess. It's too loud in here."
"Does mommy know we are here?" She asked innocently.
Smiling, I kissed her forehead. "Of course she does."
Nodding, she sat back and they both watched the game enthusiastically.
.
.
.
I sniffled back my tears as Althea hit the winning runs and Australia won the World Cup. She threw her bat in the air and hugged her partner tightly as the crowd went wild.
"Why are crying, daddy? Did we lose?" Nevan pointed out seeing the tears in my eyes.
"No, baby. We won, I am just feeling so proud of her, these are happy tears."
"I also want to cry happy tears!" Alora exclaimed excitedly and Nevan repeated the same thing making me chuckle at them.
An hour later when all the post match presentations were done and Australia was handed over the trophy and they were done with all the pictures, the family of the players started to step into the ground to meet their girls and I did the same with Nevan in one hand and Alora in the other excited to see their mother.
As soon as she saw us, she ran towards us, the player of the match medal dangling around her neck and she grabbed both the kids in her arms and peppered their faces with kisses making them giggle loudly.
Next, she gently lowered them to the ground and smiled brightly at me before kissing me hard, cupping both my cheeks catching me off guard.

I knew that at least a few cameras must be on us but I didn't care as I kissed her back with equal fervour, wrapping my arms around her waist and lifting her off the ground.
And with my lips still attached to her, I twirled her around in the air making her chuckle into the kiss. "I love you."
I put her down and kissed her forehead. "I love you too, baby."
When we glanced down to our kids, they both had a disgusted look on their faces making us laugh even more.
I picked up Nevan in my arms while she picked up Alora and then she hugged me with them both sandwiched between us. "I love you all so much."
They both grinned widely and so did I as they kissed her cheeks in return.
When Nevan and Alora noticed the other kids of Althea's teammates with whom they are friends with, they wiggled out of our arms and ran to them leaving us alone.
I circled my arm around her waist and pulled her flush against me. "So, Mrs Andrews..." My voice turned low and husky. "...do I finally get to claim you tonight after you didn't let me touch you properly for almost two months?"
A blush settled on her cheeks. "You do realise we have a lot of cameras on us at the moment?"
"Does it look like I care? Now, answer my question."
"Well...we will be having two kids sleeping in the same room as us..."
I whispered huskily in her ears, "I can always gag you to keep you quiet."
Her eyes widened and she playfully smacked my chest. "Calix! Shut up!"
"Althea!" Someone called her and she took that opportunity to break free from me and run towards them.
And I watched her with a smile on my face.
My obsession, my madness and my love. My wife. My Althea.
✨
I made a mistake. A terrible one.
I betrayed my best friend. The only person who ever cared for me. But I had no other choice.
Then there's his younger sister, Maria Andrews who always looked up to me as if I was some kind of an angel, little does she know that I am far away from that.
And now I am on the run, trying to leave everything behind. But it's been four years, four fucking years since her eighteenth birthday when she confessed having feelings for me. For Me. And her words still haunt me, the tears in her eyes when I rejected her still burn my heart but I did what I had to do.
People don't love me, especially women...they only seek pleasure from me. I am not a lovable person and someone you should definitely steer clear of.
Getting involved with my best friend's (or ex best friend's) sister is stupid and I'm fucking mature enough to not even think of her, of someone who is eight years younger than me.
But now, she is here and God help me, I am about to cross every fucking line.
