Jannat opened her eyes and sat up on her bed. Then She looked at his side and he was not there. She looked at restroom door which was close and she knew he was inside. She get up and cleaned the bed. After a while he come out and she looked back at him. He was wearing black shirt with role-up pants and looking fresh and handsome.

'Done, checking me out.' He asked while she was looking at him.

'No. Its not enough yet.' She replied and quickly realized what she had said. He amused looked at her while she embarrassed looked away. Her face was tomato red with blush. 'Stupid Jannat.' She curse to herself while He walked and stood in front of mirror to do his hair while saving her from more embarrassed while she quickly get inside the restroom to take shower. She came out after taking shower and seen him on the phone. She walked and stood in front of mirror.

'Okay, we will be there. Talk to you later.' Elam said and turned off the phone.

We are invited on dinner to my friend's house.' Elam said and she look up as he is standing right behind her. There eyes met in mirror.

'Why?' Jannat asked

'He is giving dinner as a treat for my wedding.' Elam said while both were still looking at each other from the mirror.

'Okay, when we are going?' She asked and looked away while he was still looking at her.

'08:00.' Elam replied

'How your shoulder is now? You even have take out bandage from your shoulder.' Jannat asked concerned

'I have got my tests and my shoulder was not broken , it just was twisted. Doctor get the wrong idea by looking at it first time.It is better now.' Elam said and she nodded head her head in yes.

'I am sor.......' After a while ,she tried to say for a last night behaviour but he stopped her putting his hand in air.

'Be ready.' He said and quickly walked out while She sighed.

'O Crap, Car even have to stop now. We already late.' Elam said annoyed. They had been on dinner at Elam's friend house and now they were going back to home but there Car broke.

'I will go and check.There is no signal in my phone as well.' Elam said while coming out from the car. Jannat looked around, it was mid night and whole road was quite as well looked scary. There was no one on the road and tress had been covered the whole road as it looked like small forest. Suddenly someone knocked on her window and she came back in her senses. She looked up at the window and Elam was standing there signing her to put down her window. She quickly put down the window.

'I don't know what is wrong with it. Only mechanic can do it.There is no signal in my phone.' Elam said where Jannat nodded her head in yes.

'Then, what now?' Jannat ask worried.

'I will go and get the mechanic.' Elam said

'How you will find a mechanic, We can't see anyone on road at all.' Jannat said

' I know but I can't just sit in car.I will walk to see is there anyone who could help us. I might be able to find someone.' Elam said and was about to walk off when she quickly came out from car.

'But I am scared. don't leave me here all alone.' Jannat said from behind and he stopped them looked back at her. Before Elam could say a word they seen a head light of Jeep coming toward them. Elam looked at her.

'They might help us.' Elam said As the car came closer and Elam show his hand as a signed for help to stopped it and car stopped right next to their car. The car door opened and Jannat looked up and there he was standing while evilly smiling towards her. She freeze on her spot and her eyes were wide opened and her face colour had dried as well.

'Fahad.' She mutter to herself.

'Can you please help us.' Elam said as he haven't notice her reaction because she was standing quite far away behind him.After Fahad, four more guys came out as well and they were standing behind Fahad.

'Why do you need help.' Fahad asked while still looking at her and she felt uncomfortable under his gaze.

'Our car had broken.' Elam said

'Do you want me to check it.' Fahad said and Elam nodded her head in yes.

'Yeah, please off course.' Elam said and let me pass to checked the car while Jannat quickly walked toward Elam then she get hold him from his arm and snatched him toward the conner. As his back was facing Fahad but she can see him as he looked up to her and wick to her. She angrily looked away from him.

'What happen?' Elam asked

'We shouldn't ask there help.' Jannat said and looked at him.

'Why not?' Elam asked confused and look at her whereas she helplessly looked at him.

'It is just they look so evil and.....' Jannat try to say but she stopped as she see look back. Where one of guy was holding glass bottle and was about to hit Elam.

'Elam.' She screamed but it was too late as guy had hit him already on his head with bang. Elam jolt back and felt pain all over his head while he slowly turned around. He saw all five guys as Fahad in middle standing there while holding hockey in their hands.

'You have make big mistake by marring her and you have to pay for it.' Fahad said while Elam was trying to understand everything when Fahad pulled Elam from his collar and thrown him on car. His head hit the car and there was blood coming from his head and everything blur in his sight and he was unable to see anything. He try to stand but he tremble and fell down on the road.

'Hit him.' Fahad said angrily and all guys start walked towards him and start hitting him with the hockey stick really hard and Jannat came in her senses. They had made circle around him and were hitting him like a animal . Jannat shocked looked at them then ran towards them.

'Stop it Fahad.' Jannat screamed while trying to stopped them but they didn't listen to her. She bite on one of the guy's shoulder and he screamed in pain when they all looked up and Fahad angrily looked at her then he push her and she fell on the road then start hitting him again while he was struggling under them. She quickly got up and again ran towards them. Then She start pushing them and after a while she was able to get into the circle . Elam was all bleeding and he was trying to save himself from hockeys as his eyes were faintly getting closed then open when someone pushed her out again. But she again ran and get inside the circle and then lay down on him to protected him and hugged him tightly as tear were coming from her eyes. All the guys suddenly stopped but she didn't move from her place.

'Jannat move away right now.' Fahad screamed and she stay still while hugging him abs crying.

'If you don't want to get hit, move away.' Fahad screamed again angrily but she was still laying down on him while hugging him. Fahad sighed the guys and one of guy hit her with hockey. She closed her eyes and controlled the scream to came out due to pain.

'Don't even dare to....... hit her.' Elam screamed faintly as he put his hand behind her back.But his voice break at end and he fainted. She was waiting for more to come but it didn't.

'Okay, lets go enough for now.' Fahad said quickly by looking at unconscious Elam and they walk away. She slowly looked up and they were sitting in their Jeep. She sighed and looked at him and he was unconscious laying there.

'Elam.' Jannat called out his name but he didn't move. Then she bend down put her head on his heart and it was beating. She sighed in relief and looked at his condition as his head was bleeding really badly.

'Elam, please open your eyes.' Jannat said while crying . Then she put his head in her lap and used her scarf and start cleaning up the blood from his head but it was not stopping. Then she quickly got up and start looking around.

'Is someone there to help me.' Jannat screamed but no point.

'Help please.' Jannat screamed and looked around on road but nothing. Then she walked into forest to find someone.

'Is someone there.' Jannat scream while walking more into forest. After a while when she didn't find anyone she fell down on maddy ground ,make her knee come to her chest and put her head on her knee and helplessly start crying really loudly.

'Can we help you?' Someone said out of blue and she snapped her head toward the voice.A man and woman mid in their 30s were standing there while worried looking at her. She quickly got up from her place.

'Please, my husband is dying. Please help.' She said and a couple nodded their head in yes. Then, they start walking back to the road.

'Please come.'Jannat said and ran towards Elam who was still unconscious.

'O Allah,he bleeding really badly.' A women said and Jannat looked at her.

'Please help me.' She pleaded to them

'We will take him to our house which is closer from here. We have doctor here who can check him up and could give him herbal medicine.' Man said and Jannat quickly nodded her head in yes. The man walked and picked up Elam which putting his one arm around his shoulder whereas Jannat was holding his other arm around her shoulder and they start walking.

'How long it will take?' Jannat asked impatiently.

'Don't worry won't take loads of time.' A man said.

'Thank you for helping me. My name is Jannat. ' Jannat intoduced herself.

'My name is Gazala and he is my husband Ali. We were going back to our house which come after forest and we heard your cry. So we walk toward you.' Hazels said and Jannat nodded her head in yes. After a while they came out from the forest and Jannat can see small houses from here. She looked at the couple who smile to her.

'We are nearly here.' Hazels said and they start walking again. They reached on small streets and It was all dark here whereas Gazala took out the touch and light it. After a while they reached in front of small house.

'Come in.' Gazala said and they all walk in. Then Gazala ran and get a candle from inside the house and light it whereas Jannat looked around. The house was small from inside as there is only two bedroom, kitchen and toilet in it. But it looked really clean. There was loads of different kind of plants in the house which make the house to look naturally beautiful as well fresh.

'Put him here on bed.' Ali said and they walk inside the small room while they carefully put him down on the bed.

'I will go and get the doctor.' Ali said and walked out.

'I will go and get a warm water and cloth to clean his bleeding.' Gazala said and was about to walk when Jannat speak up .

'Please wait, I will help you as well.' Jannat said and Gazala looked back then nodded her head in yes. They walk out and enter into small kitchen which was right next to the room.

'Why there is no light in your house.' Jannat asked innocently and Gazala looked at her.

'Actually, Our village is really small and we have no electricity here.' Gazala said and she shocked looked at her.

'There is no electricity.' Jannat ask and Gazala nod her head in yes while smiling.

'Why not?' You didn't complain to government.' Jannat ask.

'Most of people who live here are illiterate. Our village is really small and it is behind the forest. Nobody really notice it. All educated people go to big cities for jobs and better future but never come back. Government don't listen to us as it is only few people who are complaining and they just ignore us. ' Gazala said

'Why you don't take help from media.' Jannat asked and Gazala bitterly laugh.

'I talk to media as well but according to them, it is not spicy story. It won't give them publicity.' Gazala said bitterly and Jannat sad looked at her.

'Do you have children?' Jannat asked to change the topic.

'Yes, I have one son. Hassan' She said sadly and Jannat looked at her.

'Why you are sad?' Jannat asked

'You know my father used to abused my mother and used to drink alcohol. I hated him all my life. I got married with Ali and after some years our married, my mother died. After that I break all my tries with my father. Few years back he come to me when I was pregnant, He beg my apology and beg me to call him father to forgive his mistakes. But I didn't forgive him and stay cold hearted toward shim. He cry in front me and go away and then he never come back.'Gazala pause and cleaned away the tears from her eyes which were coming like tap whereas Jannat was just listening to her.

'I give birth to my son and he born with disability that he can't speak or hear. ' Gazala said and tears come out from here eyes. Jannat put hand on her hand as assurance.

'I have complications during my pregnancy and I can't become mother any more. My son always stay in front of my eyes but he never call me Mother. I am dying to hear him to call me mother and Pray alot to Allah. You know now Irealized why my father cried in front of me to just call him father for once. ' Gazala said and start crying. Jannat got up and pass her tissue from her bag.

'Now, I am understanding my father pain. I know he was bad but he change a lot after my mother death. He had realized what diamond he had all his life as my mother but he never value her. You know we human are always ungrateful to Allah and cry over to him on small tests. When we cry over small tests then he give us big tests to show us that small test were nothing. We are so impatient.' Gazala said and cleaned her tears.

'I will only advice you that it was not your fault.' Jannat said and Gazala smiled to her.

'You know Gazala, Why in every second house people live together even after having arguments and misunderstanding.' Jannat asked and Gazal looked at her then nodded her head in no.

'Gazala, people live under one roof after having arguments and misunderstanding not because they forget everything, it is because they just forgive everything.' Jannat said and Gazala was listening to her.

'Just forgive your father.' Jannat said and Gazala looked at her then slightly nodded her head in understanding.

'Doctor is here.' Ali said as soon he entered in the house with doctor. They looked at him then quickly got up and get into the room for his check up.
